Yearthself, LLC

I contracted with Yearthself LLC in April 2021 to deliver 4 built-in carpentry projects at a cost of $31k and we are supposed to take 8 weeks to deliver. Over the course of the project, I received numerous assurances that the projects would be delivered on time and on budget. Only after the project budget and timeline were completely exhausted did Yearthself CEO Dustin Raymer tell me that they required more to complete the projects. To complete the projects Yearthself LLC raised the price to almost $40k and we signed another contract to complete the project. Once I paid, very little work was completed and what was delivered was put together haphazardly and unfinished. Dustin Raymer agreed that the quality was poor and assured me they would make it right but since has done nothing and will not keep appointments or return calls or texts. The projects remain unfinished and the pictures are posted on this website without my approval.

Do not use him nor trust him!

I contracted with YEarthSelf (Dustin Raymer) to complete a shuttle bus conversion into an RV. This was to take three months for completion and there were some legitimate delays that may have added a month or so to the total time. It is now 11 months from contract start and I have a bus that is not even half finished. Maybe 25% finished. On advice from my lawyer I have taken possession of the incomplete bus so as to not lose everything. I paid 40k for this build and the company has failed to deliver on the contract. This is the basics. There is much more that happened over these 11 months such as failure to provide an assessment as they stated it was a waste of time Please avoid this company at all costs for anything like a tiny home or bus conversion. They start out great but quickly become uncommunicative and deceptive in what they do actually tell you. Please make a better decision then I did.

I really enjoyed working with Jake on my potting cabinet project.

We had custom built shelving and framing designed and made for a wall niche in our home. Workmanship, fit and finish overall was excellent. Materials were Grade A and matched wood trim in the rest of the home. Made a major improvement to the appearance of that part of the home.

They were very professional and their work was very high quality. I was very pleased.

I had a wall oven replaced with shelves and cabinet doors. They were able to match my existing cabinet door pattern, installed adjustable pullout shelves, and painted them. Also, a counter over a built-in desk was raised to counter height and the kneehole space replaced with adjustable pullout shelves and a cabinet door. The extra storage space this allows is wonderful. They kept me advised during the project. Friendy and professional team. I am very happy with the results. I would hire them again in an instant. So happy to have found them on HomeAdvisor.com

My wife wanted custom mudroom cabinet and coat closet made in our brand new home. Dustin, Kelsey and Justin came in and did a great job and completed for my wife before Christmas. They took the time to match all the cabinets and wood work already in the house. This was a custom piece that took some time to build and the end product is great. I appreciated that all three of them wore masks while on the job at my house also. Great team and produced quality work, would hire them again in a minute. They were also cheaper than 4 other bids I recieved.

I have really enjoyed working with them. I apprecieate the time they take with you prior to having a contract and even more so after there is a contract. They do research and have answers for any of my questions. They have great customer service.
