I hired Yep Electric to sort out some old wiring and install two ceiling fans in my 80‑year‑old house, and I’m so glad I did. Dave diagnosed a complicated ceiling fan problem that someone else had worked on, and when a ground wire shorted and briefly killed power to the house, he stayed calm, tracked everything down, and got it all working safely. While he was here, he also converted an old 2‑prong outlet to a grounded 3‑prong, installed my Ring camera, and added motion‑sensor lights in two dark closets, which was above and beyond what I expected. He took the time to explain what was going on with my old wiring, made sure every fixture and switch was behaving before he left, and never made me feel rushed. The pricing felt fair for the amount of work involved, and I feel much safer and more functional in my home now. I’ll definitely call Yep Electric again and would recommend Dave to anyone dealing with old, quirky wiring.

We've been having an issue with our microwave tripping our breaker and needed to have it looked at. I called them on a Wednesday and they were able to get us in on that Friday. Very kind and thorough and got the job done right! If we need anything else, we'll definitely call them again. Highly recommend!

They initially ignored an outlet we thought may be responsible for the outage because it was still getting power. Very thorough with the check of other outlets/switches and even replaced a few. Finally returned to the initial outlet of concern and that fixed the problem. Would not move any furniture to get to outlets, which we understood, so we did the moving. Job was completed the same day for a fair price.

Dave came out same day I called and provided 2 previously wired smoke alarms that needed replacement as well as some wiring work that needed to be done on one since it had been disconnected previously by another contractor when our bathroom was upgraded.I have used Dave ,the owner of Yep!
