High Ground Construction via ?Your Guy Friday LLC? gave an estimate for Appliance install at $637.65 and a small deck and 2 sets of stairs less than 4 feet high$6888.80. The final invoice was significantly higher than expected at $9,180.14. When I asked for clarification, I was told that the increase was because it took 110 labor hours to complete work, and that I verbally authorized some changes so they felt it was appropriate. I disagreed, but paid the invoice and wrote it off as a very bad decision on my part to hire this company. I DID NOT PASS INSPECTION. THEY FIXED THE FAILURES BUT SENT ANOTHER INVOICE FOR $1736. I refused to pay, as a quality product is implied in the job, he sent a revised invoice for $1076 as a "one-time discount". I've rejected this invoice as well and asserted that $9,180 was full payment for services rendered. can't get all pics into the file. I won't use Angi again.
