Young Complete Remodeling

Terry Young's way of communicating with paying customers is absolutely unprofessional. And if it continues, will prove detrimental to any future business dealings he may have. I found him on HomeAdvisor about two years ago and only chose him because he had high ratings. He and his team had worked on small projects around my home back then with no problem. And because he and his team did great work, I referred him to a few other people who've had his work on their homes as well. Their only complaint was how he communicates with them. So fast forward to yesterday's incident... Young was given a deposit to start work on my home about two weeks ago and was suppose to start on the 1st of July, he decided on the day of the 1st to move it to the 2nd, which I was fine with. On the morning of July 2nd, the texts me at 9:30 asking if I was up and dressed. I responded that I was. He then went on to say that he was getting himself together and would arrive at my home by 10:30 am, if not earlier. I responded letting him know that, him arriving at that time was fine. Fast forward 3 hrs later, and he was a no call/no show. Terry had?t bothered calling, nor did he send a text or email explaining why he hadn't shown up at 10:30 like he said he would or if something had come up. I eventually called to get an explanation as to why he was 3hrs late and to ask of his whereabouts and was met with an attitude, excuses and him attempting to argue with me when all I was trying to do was figure out when he had planned on stopping by to start the work so that I wouldn't be inconvenienced again having to wait for an additional 3hrs. I don't know why he lost his temper, but he had absolutely no right to get upset with me, let alone attempt to argue when he was in the wrong being 3hrs late and not communicating with me regarding his whereabouts. Because from my perspective, him being late and not getting in touch with me makes it look like he just took my deposit with no intention to actually start work on my home. This exchange resulted in me requesting my deposit back and severing ties with him. He just lost myself and a few other loyal(repeat) customers that I've referred him too.

Terry was so great to work with! We had him install a set of barn doors in our house and he made it so simple. I highly recommend him and look forward to working with him again.

I hired Terry to replace 2 interior doors. His work was very sloppy. He did not set any of the nails for the door casing, used the old door frames to hang the new doors (the new doors have 3 hinges and the old doors only had 2 hinges and he did not add the 3rd hinge). He either did not have any tools to clean up or chose not to use them so I had to clean up when he was finished. I would NOT recommend.

I would recommend Young Complete Remodeling and without hesitation. Mr. Young maintained professionalism from start to finish. Mr. Young arrived on time for our first and subsequent appointments. The project was finished timely and perfectly. Everyone who has had the pleasure of experiencing my fence have been impressed by the workmanship and quality thereof. Most have requested Mr. Young's contact information for future projects. I love the finished project.

Terry is wonderful. Very professional, efficient. HARD WORKING!!! He did a beautiful job on removing a ceramic kitchen floor and replacing with concrete. He completed other jobs as well , thinking ahead of how efficiently and economically he could do them. Takes care of business until it is complete and helped make recommendations on other issues I have around the house. I would re-hire him in a heartbeat!

Mr. Young is very good at what he does, all you have to do is tell him what you want done and he will do it. The price is very reasonable.

I was expecting to be advised of the cost before they started working on my project. I would have thought I would be given an estimate first. Also I did not receive a receipt for the job completed. Not very good business. If they want to succeed with their business they should heed to my review suggestions.The job was done perfectly but the way it was handled,in my opinion, was not good at all.

Terry has been a huge help. I've used him now for a few things and he's very responsive, great work and very friendly. Definitely recommend hiring him!

Terry is very nice and professional person. He completes the job when he says that he will complete it and does not try and add any additional cost to the job. Unlike other contractors he shows up for his appointments and responds quickly to phone calls. Great pleasure to work with him and I recommend his service to anyone that could use someone of his caliber.

Terry does excellent work, his price was fair. He was willing to listen to what we wanted and tried to deliver it. He and his workers were pleasant and respectful. We would hire him again.

I think they were concerned with exactly what I wanted. Patient. I think the quality of the installation was excellent. Although our measurements were off with sizing he was able to make adjustments to make them fit. I would hire them again for other services.
