Don?t use them! Refrigerator was freezing up. They replaced the defroster. Two days later it was freezing up again. They came out again saying they were sorry that they forgot to blow out the line. Each time my 87 year old mother and I had to put food in cooler for 24 hours for the refrigerator to thaw out. Each time we had to throw food out because it would fit in the coolers we had. Now a month later it?s freezing up again. I called and they said the defroster part was probably defective. They said a Technician would call me. I was told this twice. No one ever called. I left many messages and no one returned my calls. When I talked to them on the phone they said?. Have a Blessed Day. When you call them the answering machine message says ?. Have a Blessed Day. They shouldn?t say that when they treat people the way they did us. That?s what gives Christians a bad name.

Terrible service I would never recommend them they're not even known in the Fayetteville area. Came out twice within 2 years to say that the different issues with the refrigerator it happened to be the compressor had another appliance repair guy that had 40 years experience come out caught it in 5 minutes and he said you're compressor is bad , and stated these guys must have been looking at YouTube cuz they had no idea what they were doing.

I was very concerned about cold calling someone off the internet. I was amazed at how professional, polite and prompt Jimmy Young was in fixing my mothers refrigerator. She is elderly, and he was so patient with her questions and just wanting to talk. He appears to be a very fine person and I will always call him with any appliance repairs. He is a real treasure.

Stay away from this company! I was assigned Young's Appliance Repair by my home warranty company American Home Shield to repair the ice maker in my refrigerator. The first technician arrived at my home and I demonstrated to him that the ice maker was making ice but was not dispensing it out. After spending only a few minutes he told me that he would have to order a part for the repair. A week or so goes by and I receive a call to schedule the appointment for the repair part to be installed. While waiting the 4 hours, I received several calls from the technician telling me that he was coming to do the repair. At the end of the scheduled window, the technician called to inform me that due to car trouble he would not be coming to my home that day. He rescheduled the appointment for the next day (Saturday) at 9 am. Upon his arrival I noticed that it was a different technician. He went to my refrigerator ice maker in the door, removed and reinstalled a new ice storage box. He quickly started to gather his equipment when I asked him if he was going to check it. I handed him a large cup which he placed under the ice maker which dispensed about a half a cup of ice. He said it was fixed and started to direct me to the paperwork. I asked him to dump the cup and try it again. On the second attempt the ice maker failed to dispense any ice. I told him that I believed that there was an issue with the flap that opened and let the ice come out. He played with the ice maker flap for a couple of minutes and then told me that he agreed and that he would have to go back and order another part. After waiting over three weeks, with two repair visits and no change in the status of my ice maker, I asked him why the issue was not detected by the first technician. He stated that it should have been. I asked if his company was open since it was Saturday and he informed me that it was not. I directed him to have a representative from Young's Appliance repair call me at 9 am on Monday morning, to which he agreed. On Tuesday, after not receiving a call on Monday, I started calling the number I was given ((910) 479-1342) for Young's Appliance Repair, which immediately went to voice mail. I left two messages with my name, address and phone number requesting a return call. On Wednesday I called Young's Appliance Repair and again my calls immediately went to voice mail. I then called American Home Shield to see if another part had been ordered for my repair. After finding out no parts were on order, I had the American Home Shield representative call Young's Appliance Repair. After talking to Young's Appliance Repair the American Home Shield representative informed me that Young's Appliance Repair stated that the repair was completed and that they refused to do any further repairs for me because I was rude to their technician. Luck for me I notified American Home Shield on Saturday, after the technician left, that the repair was not completed and that

Called them this morning because my ice maker died. Tim came out this afternoon and quickly isolated the problem beyond the valve to the machine itself. Ordered part and will come out tomorrow (a Saturday) to install. Well done polite quick service. Vet and Senior citizen conscious. Very highly recommend. The price of the unit was a bit higher but I don't begrudge anyone making a bit of a profit. That's how you stay in business.

Other than come to my house, pull out the dryer, check voltage from my electrical socket, Young's did nothing for the service call charge. They did not repair the dryer, they did not call back with an estimate for the repair, they did not diagnose the problem correctly. I called another repair company, and they corrected the problem in about 45 minutes (the dryer vent was blocked). Youngs told me the heater unit was bad and needed to be replaced, but Youngs did not call back with an estimate. In my opinion Youngs does not repair appliances, they simply visit your home and charge the service fee. Also, in my opinion = Zero value. I did call Youngs and request a refund of the fee, but they said because they came to my home, they could not refund the fee. I recommend staying away from this company. They seem to me, to be very unprofessional.

Not only unprofessional in mannerism but also in workmanship. instead of troubleshooting refridgerator the rep replaced the wrong part which lasted only hours after i had paid him. unfortunately i had restocked the refrigerator, left and found the appliance inop ,food ruined.asked the owner to come out to properly repair it he said he would but sent the same guy out who then proceded to tell me he didnt like that i complained, sent him packing. owner never came out or refunded monies or make it right.

I called Young's appliance at 4:45pm to request an installation of N over the range microwave. I spoke to Tim who was very nice and said they could do it first thing the next morning. He called me back within 5 minutes and said they could come that evening if I wanted them to. They arrived at 6:05 and had finished the job by 6:30. I will definitely use them again next time I need any appliance repair!
