Young's Construction

We entered into a contract with Paul Young and Will Cyrus on Feburary 10th 2021, they dropped off thier ladders and we paid them $4000.00 per the contract (half up front) with a contractual start date of Feburary 15th 2021 and end date of March 31st 2021 to complete the roof. They made several agreements to come to our home to start but either called and cancelled or not even show. Our roof began to have a major leak and they still didnt come. In fact they never came back to our home, did NOT fix our roof. In short they cashed our check immediately and never did the job. We contacted the Maine Attorney General's Office and filed a complaint. We sent Will Cyrus who wrote the contract a certified letter asking for our money back along with copies of Maine laws retrived from ME AG's office. They did not respond. This issue now remains with the ME AG's office. We had to have another roofing company put on a brand new roof. This has cost us thousands of dollars. Youngs Construction which they used a different name on the contract FRIENDLY ODD JOBS stole from us. We will persue all legal means to have our money returned to us. I sincerly hope that Home Advisor no longer continues to advertise this company. I hope no one else ever has to go through what we have been through. Luckily we were able to get our roof taken care of despite having been robbed by them of $4000.00.
