David put in new lights for me and patched the drywall around the lights he installed and the drywall the electrician cut out but didn?t repair. He also put in grab bars in the bathroom and garage. He was very professional and the work was excellent.

Had Youth Builders fix a broken stair. Dave was great - very personable. Was upfront about what I did and didn't need for fixing my stair. Very reasonable pricing - will definitely hire again :).

He was very honest and did his best to fix my problem for the least amount of money. The other solution would have been to get a new window which would have been very expensive. He was prompt and worked until it was done. I also recommended him to my daughter and he was able to take care of it for a very reasonable cost.

The work he did was excellent--but we felt like the time it took (3 days) to complete the work was too long--other jobs seemed to be given priority.

His work turned out fine. But getting him to do the work for the agreed upon price was a whole other story. He kept changing his mind on how he wanted to fix something. First the price would go down, then up beyond his original estimate. It was very tiring working with him. Took him over a week to come back and hang a screen in our basement plus he broke a vase while doing the work. Not an expensive vase, but irreplaceable because it belonged to my mother. Then out of the blue, he called me 4 months later asking if I needed his services???? I have no idea why he called me. He is hard to get off the phone.

I didn't know handymen were $60 an hour. Their services are not as much as plumbers but almost. He did show me exactly what he was doing and let me help him so I might be able to do it next time. I guess I was paying for a class also. Still...

Familiar with and knowledgeable about a variety of "broken" things and able to resolve and repair as needed.

David has been doing multiple projects for me around our house for almost 3 years now. He is very knowledgeable and is a jack of all trades. If he doesn't feel comfortable doing something he'll let you know and refer you to someone who can do it for you. He's done two laminate floors for us, childproofing, wall repair, garage door maintenance, electrical outlet install, painting, refinish our deck, hung large pictures over a stairwell, hung a pot rack among other things that I can't remember right now. David does like to chat but if you need to you can always tell him to shush up and get to work. He's a great resource and I do recommend him to all my family and friends who need various projects done around the house.

David installed a sump pump in my basement. His work was very thorough. He's very knowledgeable about all household repairs. My only issue was his timing. He would make appointments to do the work and then would cancel at the end of the day wasting my time waiting for him to show up. He is extremely chatty but I didn't mind it.

I used David to remodel an existing 55 year old bathroom including refinishing the walls, counter top, and retiling the floor. He did an excellent job in all phases -- he definitely knows his craft and how to deal with the unexpected things that crop up with an older home. He made several recommendations that I would not have thought of that greatly improved the final outcome and look. He offered to allow me to help with the project to save some cost and he was very patient in teaching me the tricks of the trade. His pricing is very fair -- I will definitely use him again!
