Z Double B, Inc.

We had our front entry door, side lights and storm door replaced in 2020. The guys did a great job. We have had some settling and Z Double B came right away to make adjustments.

11-18-2020 Dear Yelp, This compliant is in reference to Z double B located at 12860 W Cedar Dr Ste 110B Lakewood, CO 80228-1965. Phone number 303-997-8168. The owner is Zach Baumann. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! I first paid Z Double B in September 25, 2019, to purchase a folding door to be install at my house and signed a contract at the same time. In the contract it was stated that the door would install in approximately 12 weeks. The door was installed in mid-march 2020. Once install I notice Z double B order the wrong door! When I ordered the door I showed the sales person the door I wanted at my neighborâ s house. I called Zach Baumann the owner of Z Double B and explained that the wrong door was order and his response was â you didnâ t say you wanted a flag door and you signed the contract.â Flag door is a term I have never heard. I explained that I showed the sales person the exact door I wanted, I also explained that no one from his company went over the final design of the door or the contract which I signed. The project manager, Robert, explained to me that the sales person did not have much experience in the type of door. I paid for half of the door in September in 2019 14500.00 and the job has not been completed as of mid-june 2020. Nor has the trim been matched as discussed. The new door to fix the issue has also NOT been ordered as of mid-june 2020 even though Zach knew they ordered the wrong door in mid-march 2020. I have email and texted Zach Baumann many time stating that I would paid in full once the job is complete which will not be complete until at least 7/31/2020, which would mean the job took over 10 months to complete. Zach is calling everything a change order when it is not, I originally I asked for a door a certain way and the trim. Z Double B has not finished the job as of mid-june. Zach is asking me to pay for the rest of the balance 14500.00 even though the job is not complete. Zach has threating to put I lien on my house even after I have put in writing that I will pay the full balance once the job is complete. Zachâ s commutations has been terrible. He does not answer text, emails or phone calls. My door finally got installed on 9-3-2020. Then in November I notice that the new door was not installed correctly. As of 11/17/2020 I am still missing a pin in the door. I WOULD NEVER USE THE COMPANY FOR ANTHING! From start to finish my project took 12 and half MONTHS!
