Home Maintenance Contract or Warranty Program
DON'T hire this "handyman". We hire him to paint our house. He didn't show up when he said he would. Taped off some window (left the taped) and electric boxes. The ones he didn't tape he sprayed paint on and left it. Use our ladder /hose got paint all of it and just left it. Spilled paint on our deck and left it. He never finished the job. Would come and go with no explanation. The painting was shotty work. He got well over what he quoted. Due to needing "more supplies". We called and text with no response. Very unprofessional work.

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects- For Business
DO NOT HIRE! He will take your money and ghost you. I already made him delete his google page by tanking his reviews and also made him delete his facebook page and I will not stop. He moved to Detroit Lakes, MN. I will be informing the local sheriff about his change of residence. He scammed many people in the Aitkin area and will likely continue to do so because he is a liar and a thief.

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects- For Business
He took 3 days to install a garage door opener. He didn't notice that the torsion springs were not a left/ right set, they were both right. The garage door dropped and bent the bottom door. He said he would come by to look and replace back in September, but he never did. I tipped him because I thought my job was causing frustration, but it turns out he doesn't know what he is doing. Way to ghost your customer and not stay with your word.

Deck, Fence, Patio or Porch - Clean and Seal
We hired this contractor to work on our cabin and initially thought he would do a great job. He seemed professional, offered a reasonable price, and we signed a contract, paying half the total as a deposit. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill. He delayed the project, claiming material issues, and then started making excuses about needing additional items for the job. While we trusted him, he never actually completed the work. He claimed to have "bought materials," but after reviewing our trail cam footage, it became clear nothing was being done. Things escalated when he tried to file a false police report, claiming all the materials were stolen. At that point, we parted ways. I cannot recommend this contractor. Proceed with caution or look elsewhere.

Deck, Fence, Patio or Porch - Clean and Seal
I wish I had done more research before hiring him. He continually asked for more money as he was working at my cabin & I kept giving it to him. He would disappear for days at a time, not answer texts or emails & always had some excuse as to why. He told me he was done & asked for the final payment & I venmoed it to him. When I got to my cabin, I saw that he had left a mess in my backyard & in my garage, had not fixed my shed door, the repair he did to my deck was shoddy at best & when he stained my deck, he did not brush in between the boards (so you can see the lighter wood between the deck boards) & the black spindles on my railing are full of spilled stain. Basically I paid $3,000 for my deck to be stained & some rotting boards replaced (poorly). I sent him a list of things he needed to complete, didn't hear from him for a week, contacted him & he said he had a new email address, & sent the list again. Nothing. So I asked him to refund me $800. Never heard from him again. I think he charged me for supplies he never bought - I asked for receipts - got nothing. I feel bad for him, but what he did to me was not right & I just want to warn others.

The man is a sheister. I wish I had read the reviews before I hired him . Took $3,000 from me and not more than 5 minutes of work. I have never heard so many excuses from one person in my life. DO NOT HIRE HIM

DONâ T HIRE THE KOCON-MAN!!! We paid this POS $8100 down to do drywall work in our house with the understanding that this down payment would go toward materials and whatever else he needed to get started. We were very skeptical and apprehensive about paying him upfront since we had not paid any of our other contractors up front for work that wasnâ t completed, but we were having a tough time finding a drywaller and made this fateful decision. Amazingly, he then came back and said he needed another $6500 for materials, which we never paid, and everything went off the rails from there. He did lead us to believe he would start bringing materials over the end of April and give us a definitive start date. Well, thatâ s when all communication ended, and the scam was on. We took him to court and the coward never showed up. Donâ t hire this loser. You WILL regret it. He has no conscience and is an excuse machine who will go out of his way to blame everything on you. He actually has himself convinced he has done nothing wrong. I have noticed other people here he has swindled (Lorenzo M and Lavon B) and I feel for you guys also. The only way to stop this scammer loser is to put liens on everything he owns and have his contractor license revoked. Maybe then he gets the message.

my mom called him for repairs he came over about two weeks after. Gave her a estimate and then left and came back a week or so later and said he was starting a new in Aitkin mn and need money down so he said he could lock her in to his schedule so she gave him 5,000 down and they discussed what he should start on and what materials to get and he would return in a couple weeks to get started called me and said he ordered the siding called and said it was on back order he said he would start on something else till the siding came all he did was fix a door for 5,000 dollars this handy man service is a big{ SCAMl ] HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN AND NOT ANSWER CALLS DO NOT RECOMMEND this service an any means big Scam

My boiler stopped working. I must've called 15 other companies all of them couldn't get out to my place until the next day, by than my pipes would've been frozen. I made one last call, and got ahold of Zach (Kocon handyman services) and he was at my place within an hour. Problem fixed.. great guy.

Commercial Gas Boiler or Radiator Heating System Repair Service
Hounded me for payment the day of the job. Not expecting to pay that day. It made me feel like they would not be back. This was for an apartment building. I usually pay bills before they are due. Very odd. Within the first two days, I had a number of texts and phone calls about payment. I paid Some cash at the completion of the job before being billed. Worked on the boiler and I bet he is not licensed to do so. Gas requires it.

Same day service. He came 6:10 pm. Took 1&1/2 hr. After repair he cleaned up. Very nice man. I & my wife are deaf. He was patience and look at us when he talk. iPhone # is text message only.
