About us

Our mission at Zen Renovations is to help you create beautiful, peaceful homes in as stress-free a renovation process as possible. From personal experience, we know how challenging home renovations projects can be. It’s hard to find someone you trust as your contractor and have faith that the job will be done right. Many contractors are good with their hands, but not so good at running a business. We pride ourselves on both. A difference with Zen Renovations is that we use master craftsmen (and women) in each area of work. We are purposefully not "jacks-of-all- trades." For complex plumbing and electrical work, we use master plumbers and electricians. Unfortunately close to 1/3 of our work is repairing poorly constructed bathrooms - mostly from failed shower pans. We do the job right the first time. We hope to work with you to make your dream project come true. The core value of Zen Renovations is respect. Our team respects you, your time, and your home.

The bathroom looks great and he came back and addressed some things after the work was complete and we were pleased by his desire to make things right. I have already served as a reference for another job he was bidding on, and referred a friend to him.

Kevin provides excellent service from start to finish with assessing the project, providing quote, providing samples to select materials, scheduling delivery and removal of dumpster, scheduling work, and overseeing the project. Truly five star service and made it effortless for me. His team worked hard, did good work, cleaned up completely. I received pictures of the work being done on roof which is great as I could see it was being done to excellent standards and I knew Kevin was involved in making sure the work was done properly. I think I now have the nicest roof of my street and am glad I hired this company and would hire for future projects because I can trust the work will be done right, be of high quality, done by a skilled, professional and respectful team !

We hired Zen Renovations for a bump out of our second floor to add a bathroom and gain more living space as our family expanded. Kevin was able to offer us the design/build services we needed which really made this a much more smooth process than we imagined it would be. We have not had the best luck with contractors, but we were very pleased with Zens work and their attention to detail. We made some changes midstream which meant they had to redo some of the work but they took it in stride. We would definitely use them again.

We really enjoyed working with Kevin and his crew. From the beginning of the project, where he was able to give some practical advice on choices of tiles and vanity to prep, demo, and actual remodel. They were on time (which is huge in my book), communicated effectively about comings and goings, came within budget and were clean. The whole ordeal was as smooth as I would have never imagined, having done 2 other projects with other companies.  We will definitely use Zen Renovations in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a non stress experience.

Kevin listens. That was essential before the renovation. He took my tired, pink original 40 s bathroom, and transformed it into a gorgeous bathroom. He delivered on time and only $150 over the original quote which was because I changed the shower head ead and faucet. I m happy to say I now have what I asked for: white subway tile, gray slate, heated floor, and a skylight! I didn t even think of that idea! Then I couldn t imagine how significant of an improvement that would be. He realized it was possible and that one improvement would significantly alter the second floor. He was on time, on point, and on budget. His team were great. They cleaned up every day. My house was not a disaster area during my renovation. I have another project next year bumping out the kitchen, gutting and modernizing. Zen will be back!
