Had my basement wall waterproofed and it leaked really bad, they made it right and corrected it, but I should have walked away after reading their contract?. Cannot say anything negative about Zion Pros (actually written in their contract they have you sign). The survey is strongly pushed on you as soon as the job is completed, which of course as soon as the job is completed the customer is relieved their basement job is completed and will give a great review. That is why I went with them and it was a lesson learned, do not go with someone because they have a high rating. Also, half the money is due upfront and nonrefundable (very shady). The sales pitch was interesting and asked how I would sleep at night on a scale of 1-10 when the leak in my basement is going on and how I would sleep after it is fixed. They are trying to use psychology and fear, which was sort of funny and cheesy.

Very happy with Zion. They were on time, and completed the work as expected. During the first day on the job, it started pouring and pouring and Zion had to quit for the day. I was worried my basement would flood. One gentleman (maybe Sam?) was very, very nice and put this temporary fix on my gutters to redirect the rain water away from my window well. I very much appreciated his effort, especially during a downpour of rain.

Hiring Zion pros was the biggest mistake of my life. Rick Johnson told me i would have a dry badement. Sam his worker said the system was full proof. Sam came and started working after Rick came and collected 4,000 dollars. The worker dug a hole i could have dug. The system the put in did not total the price they charged me i asked questions and they always had an answer. After this shoty job was complete and wasnt working they started telling me what i needed to do to correct the problem. After a visit out and a phone call sam called then came saing he was told by Rick to make things right that never happened. Sam left my badement windows unsealed where water bugs etc.are getting in. My problems are far worse. After calling the office one last time i spoke with an older woman who promised someone would get back with me. Dont call these people youll be sorry. They ussed a broken rock for a drain.

The project start out good, but when ask questions about when can they start and that is when it went down hill, but they wanted half of my money. They never called me and said they could not do it, it was a text message. Overall that is not how you do business. I will not recommend them to anyone

Customer service was outstanding. I revived a call from them shortly after I posted my project. The salesman was out a couple days later to see the work area and patiently discuss our not so clear ideas. He worked up 2 solutions for us to chores from. We initially were waiting to hear from the other suggestions HA provided. No real follow up from either. We chose the more complete solution from Zion Pro's. There was about a 2 week delay as Zion Pro's works on orders as they receive them. When the workers came to do the job, the foreman made some suggestions that made the project better. The workers were pleasant to work with. There were a few small items that needed attention afterwards. I called and a team showed up the next day and fixed. Great customer experience

Zion completely screwed me over. I had a leaning brick wall and when I signed the estimate in April they told me the lead time was June. Well we got into August and the wall fell doubling my costs. I told them I was going to look someplace for something cheaper at that point they refused to fulfill the other parts of the agreed upon estimate. Zion scheduled and cancelled on me prior to the brick wall falling and I have a strong suspicion my job was push for more lucrative jobs. Had Zion just been honest about the lead times (It was a dry summer so little to no rain delays) I could have found a contractor who could have gotten to the work sooner. If you have a small job (mine was $1,600) don't go with Zion. As Charles Barkley would say Terrrible experience. Update 10.20 - Zion did refund me the portion of my deposit for the work they did not do. I did get the brick area rebuilT at a price of $520. Zion';s price? $2,500!!!!! DO NOT GO TO ZION IF YOU HAVE A SMALL JOB.

"Derek Johnson We do not feel that Derek was ?Screwed over? Here is a timeline of our communications. Derek and I met on April 15 to inspect his projects. Derek had two separate projects he wanted us to work on. The first project was repair cracks in his driveway. The second project is to reattach bricks that were Starting to lean off of the wall behind it due to not being properly installed originally. This is a shared wall between two townhomes, at which point Derek told me he would also have to get the other homeowners approval. There also is a small area under his gas main that was also detaching that he would have to pay for himself. Derek contacted us a few days later to move forward with the projects. He was put in our project list at that time. On July 15th Derek and I shared texts, I informed him that his project should start the week of August 12th weather permitting. Derek said that sounded good. The week of August 5th, Derek was contacted by one of our project managers to set up a time frame to get his project started. This was to repair his crack in his driveway only. On August 12th Derek texted me and informed me the the shared wall had fallen over the weekend. We set up to meet on Tuesday August 13th at 4pm with our brick mason. Derek was concerned and confused when we met, that had we been out there the week before there would not have been an additional cost. The additional cost to repair the wall was $850. Derek had to wait for his neighbor to approve his portion. On August 21, I informed Derek that we would be repairing his crack on his driveway. Derek said thank you and it ?Looks Great? after completion. August 23rd I texted Derek informing him that we would be repairing the brick walls on the 24th. Derek responded by saying his neighbor would not pay for the additional work. Derek asked for a Refund of $130. We mailed a job completion form with a $130 refund. In summary, we had no way to know that the wall would fall. The wall fell before the scheduled date to show up and the first scheduled date was for crack repair. It?s unfortunate that projects get more expensive due to uncontrollable situations. We are here in the future for him if they need us."

Very accommodating. They were aware of my time constraints and worked with me to complete the project on time. They had some employee issues initially but kept me informed of their scheduling issues and more or less stayed on schedule. The company employee who did the work was very professional and knowledgeable.

What they did works. The walls are stabilized and one is sealed. Did not mention the wood they drilled into was rotted through. Did not return my phone call to discuss issues with the job. UPDATE: They got in contact with me and worked with me to make sure everything was taken care and finished out correctly.

I met with Rick in January regarding my project and I agreed to hire his company. We discussed several price vs quantity of work options. Unfortunately, what I thought I had agreed upon was not what I was charged for. I was asked to pay half down up front and the other half upon completion. I finally contacted Zion Pro's in April, since I had not heard from them to find out when the project was going to begin. I had agreed in January that I wasn't in a big hurry to have the work done. Finally in April I decided they had had my money long enough so I contacted them. I was given specific instructions to put the amount due in a sealed envelope and give it to one of the workers, a little shady, but those were the instructions. The crew did not show up the first day due to their failure to inform me that the company had scheduled training. I had to use vacation time from work waiting on a crew that didn't show up. I told the project manager that they would have to start the project the next morning. I was told they would be there around 8:30 but got a voice message at 7:50 that they wouldn't be starting until noon due to delays on another project. I wanted to speak with the crew in person regarding the project, but was not willing to drive 40 minutes home at noon to do so, so I had to go over everything with the project manager who didn't give me much confidence that he was going to remember everything I discussed so he could tell his crew... and as it turned out, I was right. Several times in my conversations with the project manager, and again with the crew (and originally with Rick), I discussed cutting out and replacing the rotten part of the sill plate above the doorway that was being filled in. Everyone agreed that that was part of the job EXCEPT no one bothered to do it. Because I work 40 minutes from my home, and per the instructions, I left the final payment in an envelope with the crew, so consequently I made the final payment before realizing the entire job had not been completed. The crew was very pleasant and did a good job. I could have overlooked the scheduling problems but when they didn't replace the sill plate that everyone seemed to know was part of the project, that is inexcusable.
Response from Zion Pro's, LLC
"We are sorry you feel so strongly this way, sir. In the original estimate, replacing the sill plate was not discussed and therefore not added to the invoice that was signed. We have no record of the conversations or the agreement to replace the sill plate on top of the work in the signed invoice. The crew that did the work for your job followed what the given work order stated. We apologize for the communication issues. As stated previously our agreement was clearly stated and authorized by you with your signature. We would have been happy to have adjusted it to include any additional work you wanted done. If you have anymore questions or concerns, please send a call or email so we can ensure your satisfaction."

Based on one other estimate I would rate Zion a bit on the high side but I can't fault their work or the speed in which they got back to me. I was unhappy with one aspect of the work and the two workman got right on it and fixed it beautifully.
