Excellent work. He not only cleaned our gutters and downspouts, but we had him come back to put Fiber Black Roofing material on our porch. We also had him fix a couple of gutter straps and replace and paint the facia board. Very pleased with his work.

Amador aka Jay did a superb job on restoring my 12 X 12 ft deck. It was badly weathered, down to bare wood in many places. Jay power washed, sanded and used Behr Deckover to restore my deck to a thing of beauty. I selected the colors but it was Jay who decided the scheme for using the two colors. Due to the viscosity of the Deckover, he had to apply the paint by brush rather than roller. I found Jay to be courteous, agreeable and conscientious about his work. I would hire him again if needed.

Amador was prompt, courteous, efficient and thorough. He diligently went around the house and cleaned all the gutters and washed them out with a hose. I've already considered other projects I would call him about..

Jay prepared and stained extensive decking at my home. When he was through power-washing and sanding the wood looked brand new, and it's a minimum of 14 years old. I wanted the stain brushed and rolled, not sprayed. Jay applied 3 coats because the deck was so dry it took that much stain to achieve the desired result. At this point I wish I had taken before pictures because the appearance of my whole home has been radically improved as a result of this project and how Jay executed it. The weather has been repeatedly uncooperative, and Jay stayed in contact throughout. I never had any concerns that the job would be done to my satisfaction as it seemed as important to him as it was to me. I recommend Jay wholeheartedly and would hire him again.

I had Zip2it clean up my gutters and trim some overgrown tree branches. Jay did excellent work. He worked very fast, was polite, was very neat and clean. He did a great job. He even did extra work that I didn't ask for at no additional cost to me. He cleaned some leaves from my roof vents. I was very pleased with the work he did all at a good price. I would absolutely recommend Zip2it. Top notch work!

I had zip 2 it fix rotted areas of deck, install railings for deck stairs and pour new cement for front stairs. They did a great job!

Jay was very professional from the minute he entered our home. He was polite, courteous and on time. He knew I had multiple little jobs but one or two big jobs. One of which was urgent. The sofa bed in our family room was compromised many years ago due to too many people piling on and ultimately, bending the metal. We have dealt with it for years until last weekend when one side completely broke. We had lifelong friends coming this weekend to visit and we needed the sofa bed in working order. I decided to see if we could find a handyman to fix it. When I spoke with Jay on the phone and told him the situation, he said he believed it was possible to fix but he'd have to see it. He came over two days later and after evaluating the situation, he was sure he could fix it. He took apart the sofa bed, took the parts that needed to be replaced and came back two days later with two brand new steel parts that he had custom made for the situation. After approximately 90 minutes, Jay put back the sofa better than it was when we bought it. I was not home when he came to repair the sofa bed, but he stayed in touch with my husband as requested and they connected. He brought the receipts for the parts as he promised. The only glitch was he thought they'd have the parts readily available and would only cost about $20 each. Custom made becomes much more expensive. But again, he provided the receipts and did the job extremely well. Jay saved our weekend and our sofa bed, not to mention our pockets. It was expensive but not nearly as expensive as it would have been to replace the sofa bed entirely. And his work was excellent. We will be calling Jay again for many small jobs and another big job. He has earned our loyalty.

Jay was very prompt and courteous. He did just what I asked with no pressure to do it differently. It is nice to be able to call a handyman and get an immediate response. I have no problem recommending him for a job.

I had seen this company do work for a neighbor two doors down during the summer having to do with exterior home work and they appeared to have done an excellent job. I used them to cut and split work but they only completed half the job because they said their chain saw blades kept breaking while cutting up a tree trunk, which I had to hire someone else to complete. They were very willing to do the wood splitting for what I had already cut up and did so promptly and in a time effective manner, but I don't think cutting tree trunks is their thing. Like I said, I had to hire someone else to finish the job. The ratings are based on the fact the job was not completed. As I said, what they did was fine.

The men that did the work were very thorough. they went the extra mile. I am elderly and handicapped. their service was very professional. I will definitely hire them again.

Jay arrived a little early and ready to go. He did excellent work with constant attention to making sure I was getting what I wanted. Excellent clean up at the end of each day. He finished on time and I am very pleased with his work. I will hire him again.

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend ZIP 2 IT HANDYMAN PLUS to anyone. May of 2015 I had hired a contractor to paint my home and rebuild my deck (an approximately 2 week job depending on weather). Two days in, the job became a nightmare ending with the contractor walking off the job at the end of June refusing to complete the agreed upon work. I was fortunate to have found Zip 2 it Handyman Plus owned by Amador (Jay) Pagan. Jay was EXTREMELY professional, knowledgeable, fair, and patient while I obtained two additional cost estimates before deciding to hire him to complete the job. I found Jay to be very meticulous, taking great pride in his work and paying great attention to detail. He even did extra work at no additional cost to me to improve the overall curb appeal of my home. In addition to providing high quality work, Jay was extremely customer service oriented. He was pleasant to work with and kept me in the loop every step of the way. As I need further projects that need to be done, I will be contacting Amador (Jay) Pagan of Zip 2 it Handyman Plus.

Jay is very sincere and sticks to the job. He knew the issues of the job ahead of time, but he seemed to discover them as he worked, while on the clock; I don't think this was intentional, but it does indicate lack of preparation; since I advanced money for an hour of labor including material acquisition, he could have gotten a jump on things by Googling "inward opening storm door" (as I did later to discover one solution). He learned by doing and discovered that one problem persisted when the new door was installed in exactly the same way as the old one -- this should have been no surprise; rip out, remount for a better solution. Since the issue had been described and its correction had been requested as part of the job, if possible, I wasn't sure why the first couple hours was spent doing it the old, wrong way first. For the other issue I ultimately had to offer a solution (something I googled -- acquiring a specific piece of hardware); I don't know what the outcome would have been had I not intervened and shown him on the iPad an example of a hardware that would solve the problem -- not really my job, though. When labor hours mounted, Jay was willing to renegotiate labor costs, which I appreciated. He left items behind twice; if he'd properly cleaned up after the job he would have discovered he'd left a largish drill under the rumpled throw rug; I called him to tell him. On his trip back I even had to point out and request removal of a single, unused piece of hardware that had been left dangling attached on the outside of the door jamb. He didn't present the receipts for the materials acquired for the job though he initially assured me that he would, so I took his word for the cost of the door. For $90 an hour expertise I expect more creativity (e.g., thinking thru the job ahead of time) and efficiency. 6+ hours / $600 for the acquisition and installation of a standard metal Storm door that swings in; perhaps I'm out of touch to find that a little pricey. I wish I could give a better review because Jay is an affable and hardworking person, and I'm sure he is up to most routine jobs, but his work on this job, though sincere, left something to be desired.

Jay is a consummate professional. Very honest and straighforward. Once we agreed on a scope of work and price, he was in daily contact with me (in Ohio) and my property manager. Work was completed half of other quotes, and also addressed the handful of shakes that failed while being cleaned. He walked through the house to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. Best endorsement I can provide - my property manager is hiring Zip2It for some work on his new home!

I hired Zip 2 It to paint my smoke stained ceilings. Not only did he do a fantastic job but he would not leave until HE was completely satisfied with the job that was done.
