Brad Zobel left my bathroom a mess. But I got what I paid for. He told me my bathroom was worth $15000-20000, but he would do it for $800. He a liar, says one thing and does another. Obviously he is a cookie cutter renovator because when it came to doing the work he wasn?t qualified. He left rocks and debris in my drain where the vanity goes, my brand new walk in tub was clogged because he let debris get in the drain, he put an excessive amount of chalk around my tub and on my tiles and tub and did not clean it before he left. I am stuck with the job of cleaning it up. Whenever I asked him to do something he complained that it was taking too long to do it. He told me that it would 10-15 days to complete my bathroom but on day five he was complaining about how long it was taking and kept reminded me that he had another job waiting for him. Initially I thought he was doing a good job so much that I planned to pay him extra money when he finished. Boy was I WRONG.

Brad Zobel did a HORRIBLE job. He?s a liar and say he?s going to do something and doesn?t do it. cuts corners if you don?t catch and stop him. He told so many lies, too many to mention. Brad wrote in the contract FULL REMODEL which included demo walls, floors, and ceiling. He only demoed the tub area and half of a bathroom wall. When asked about it, he said he never said that. Explained that I needed a walk in tub and a bidet toilet installed along with outlets to accommodate them. He said he could do it. When it came time to put the tub in he didn?t have anyone to help him get it upstairs. He pretended his men were on other jobs. I had to pay someone to take the tub upstairs. I had to pay somebody else to do the electrical work because he didn?t know what to do. I had to take the wallpaper down because he used this real thick glue and made the wallpaper look like lumpy grits. By the middle of the project I was sorry I hired him. He was the contractor from hell. He left a mess

Brad was a well articulated very smart and honest guy. Knew what he was doing and explained it to me so I knew as well. And for what I received as far as work and craftsmanship I thought personally it was a great price. Id hire him again.

We had our bathrooms remodeled and the quality of work was outstanding. The attention to detail really shows, he’s a true perfectionist. He showed up on time every day, kept the work area clean, and made sure everything was done right. We absolutely love the final result and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

11/10/25 Scheduled to start work. 11/5/25 Called the week before and asked to start work early on 11/5. On 11/5 he text me after his stated start time and said that he would not be able to start as there were no sanders available for rent. 11/6/25 (NAME REMOVED) came with no sander and said that he needed to do repair work on the floor first. Paid him $2200 cash to start. He told my husband he would email us a receipt. We never got the email. 11/7/25 He came with a sander and started sanding the floor. I had a conversation with him to ask when he would be doing the repair work on the stairs and hallway. He said that was not part of this job. I said it was. He said there were no pictures sent to him of the stairs or hallway. I told him I only sent him pictures of the problem spots and I reminded him of the conversation we had where I told him I could not send him pictures of the stairs and hallway yet because my son had not removed the carpet yet. He had no recollection of that conversation. I said I would have gotten more quotes if I knew that they were not included. I told him to keep working. My husband and I discussed it and decided to get carpet on the stairs anyway because of the noise. So we chalked this up to a misunderstanding. 11/9/25 (NAME REMOVED) was supposed to have someone working with him, but he never showed up. My husband and son moved all the furniture over the weekend so that he would be able to stain the floor on Monday. There was no way he could move the China cabinet by himself and I did not want to take the chance of him trying and it getting broken. 11/10/25 We moved out of the house so he could stain and polyurethane the floors. 11/12/25 We were able to move back into the house, but the furniture could not be moved back until 11/14/25. My husband paid him the remainder of the money. He told my husband we owed him $2200, so he got the cash out of the bank and gave it to him. He never gave us a receipt. Also, he told my husband the wrong amount. According to the contract, we owed him $2120. 11/13/25 As we looked at the floors it was obvious that the floors had a lot of problems. I called Brad 2 times and text him to let him know he was overpaid by $80. He never called me back. I was planning on letting him know of all the problems when he called. Here is a list of the problems. 1. The floors were sanded against the grain of the wood so there are stripes down the floors. 2. There are several places on the floor where there is no polyurethane. 3. At the front door there is very little polyurethane and what is there is bubbled up. Also there are 2 bucket marks and 3 boot prints. 4. We found the 2 cans (Quart cans) of polyurethane that he used on the floor. The cans say that they cover 150 sq.ft each. Our floors are 450 sq ft. So it was not even enough to do one coat. It says right on the can to do a minimum of 3 coats. 5. The areas near the wall where there were missing boards, were not replaced. 11/17/25 (NAME REMOVED) finally text us back because my son contacted him to say there were a lot of problems with his work. (NAME REMOVED) wanted to know what the problem was. He said he told us he would drop off the $80 when he was in our area again. (He never told us that). He agreed to come and redo the work on January 19th. But he would not give us a refund. Angi 1-888-811-2644 12/3/25 Called Angi to report what happened. They told me to give the professional a chance to fix it. If he does not, call them back. 12/8/25 I text (NAME REMOVED) to tell him January 19th would work for us, so that he knew we agreed with his date. 1/19/26 Took off work to be home for when (NAME REMOVED) comes to do the repair, but he did not show up. 2/19/26 Called Angi to complain. Spoke to (NAME REMOVED) who said my complaint is being escalated and some one will be contacting me via email.

I had reached out to this pro for a complicated dishwasher install. So complicated that there was a possibility that the countertop would have to be removed. But Bradley came through and successfully completed the job without any counter removal. He also installed a new sink. He really knows his stuff and is a fixer. Will continue to hire him for our home remodel!

Do not hire BRADLEY ZOBEL to install a walk-in shower! Photos are of what I have now! In October I hired BRADLEY ZOBEL to replace my tub with a walk-in shower. I paid him $3700.00 in labor and I paid for all materials! The step up to the "walk-in " shower is over 11 inches, tough with bad hips & back! When I told him this will not work he showed me steps I could purchase. SMH Defeats the whole purpose. I called my plumber to see if he could help out. Zobel packed up his tools & materials I paid for and said he'd wait in his truck. As soon as the plumber pulled up BRADLEY ZOBEL pulled away. He told me this job was on hold.

Brad, the owner operator: * Provided a competitive quote for work to be done * Worked with me for my appointment rescheduling needs ( at least twice ) * Has a pleasant demeanor, is professional and competent * Explains what needs to be done to resolve an issue but does not talk down to you or f you are not handy or skilled-labor savvy * I have already requested quotes from him for future projects around my house - this shop will be my new, ‘go to’ for any projects that manifest in the future
