Zono Construction Review Our home came with a covered porch on the back of the house. However, we found that we infrequently used it, only on sunny days in the summer. So we sought quotes from a number of companies to convert it into an enclosed three season room. The company we chose was Zono Construction. They were very willing to listen to our ideas of what we wanted the structure to be. We live in a Home Owners Association neighborhood and needed the new sunroom to blend in as if it had always been part of the house. The construction started on time and finished within a week of the estimated time table. There were only two change orders during construction. One was to accommodate our request for extra insulation in the floor & walls to extend the seasonal usage. During the construction, it became evident that the original post cladding was not in the best shape. The second change order was going with their recommendation to add an additional PVC covering to the outside of the posts to insure that it would resist the elements. In short, Zono Construction did a fantastic job, professional, on schedule, and on budget.

I hired them to refinish my basement, including installing an egress window. It is apparent now that they had no idea how to complete this project..they bought a double hung window, which is not your average egress window; he had laborers dig and install the window well, which was not a good idea, since they didn't even know what an egress window was..As a result,, they installed the wrong size well, did not affix it to my foundation, and did not dig out the area according to specifications. This resulted in my foundation being compromised, and instead of correcting the problem, he has decided to cancel our contract, due to "irreconcilable differences," like he is dissolving a marriage. The only differences we have is that he is not willing to make this window properly installed. I now have to hire knowledgeable people to repair his work, which will cost me another 2500... They were shocked at how shoddy this installation was. The basement work is fine, but many hiccups.

Brian and the Zono team completed a new ground-level deck and upper deck railing remodel & stairs for us. I found Brian to be a great partner during the design process, and I felt like we ended up with something that felt custom to our space and needs. The crew was friendly and showed care around our home. Best of all, we get to enjoy the deck as a family!

I recently hired Zono Construction Services to replace and repair the vinyl siding on the upper halves of two sides of my two-story house that were torn off during a storm. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. They provided me with a fair price and explained everything clearly.
