Because of a previous service from an inexperienced person from Angi's List, it needed to be redone. We hired Gene Zucca from Angi's List, he made us feel comfortable and was hired. His timing, promptness, workmanship, and materials were up to satisfaction. Quantity of previous errors from the previous person was fixed to our satisfaction. Now we can enjoy the renovation of our home and you will not be sorry to hire this person.

Even though our kitchen cabinets were installed a few decades ago and the materials are no longer manufactured in the same dimensions, Mr. Zucca replaced the damaged cabinets so that they perfectly matched the original ones. An excellent craftsman. We highly recommend him.

Gene is a total Pro. Installed an above the range outside exhaust fan vent from microwave unit into cabinet above stove and then outside house. Smart, methodical and so careful. Not an easy job, with having to remove the cabinet and microwave oven, carefully measure opening and drill through cabinet and dry wall and outside concrete block wall to create hole and connect vent to outside. Flip exhaust fan on microwave to outside mode. Install outside louvered kit and cover. Some carpentry. Then re-install inside both the cabinet and microwave. Has to be precision measuring from inside and then for outside hole. Did in with very little inside dust and debris. Arranged for electrical work and coordinated so electrician showed up exactly at right time. Trust him completely. Fair price. As I said, a total Professional. He really knows what he is doing. And a very nice person too.

Gene is a stand up guy with many skills. He completed numerous jobs for us and worked carefully and skillfully. He even came back to reinstall my dishwasher after the electrician came!

Gene Zucca contacted me immediately to meet for the estimate on replacing some interior doors, plus some minor drywall & cabinet repairs on a residental rental property located over 50 miles from me. He provided a fair price for outstanding work. Gene was very professional who did the complete job on a Saturday. He did not like the quality of one interior door and returned it to the Home Depot for a replacement. Gene completed the job days ahead of schedule and called me the next day to follow up and see that I was satisfied. Don't skimp saving a few bucks with another firm, give Gene a call to get it done right and keep that rental property cashflow going or enjoying your own residence that was repaired right the first time.

Hired Gene to install a large amount of chair rails, trim, and crown molding in the house. The work was done quickly and professionally, and looks great. He takes great care to ensue the work is done properly.

Gene has worked on several projects for me over the last few months, from replacing a front door to swing out instead of in, replacing faucets, shower heads, and other projects in my guest and master bath (including tile work and replacing the master shower door), to trimming the chair rail off the tops of my kitchen cabinets to update the look. I wouldn't consider them to all be small projects, but I can't find another option to pick for the review. Gene is professional, reliable, friendly and will make sure the job is done right. I highly recommend him.

Gene has done numerous projects at two different houses for me. Everything from replacing light fixtures and faucets, installing ceiling fans, replacing the main water shut off valve to the house, repairing a screen door, repairing dry wall, installing curtain rods (in impossible corners), to a minor repair to a wobbly stool and probably more that I'm not remembering right now. What stands out most about Gene is his ability to fix / work around, unforeseen obstacles. He has the tools and the creativity to turn a problem into solved. He's truly talented at his craft and all the other things too--- neat, fast, prompt, reliable. A pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him. In fact I'm already working on my next "Gene do" list.

Gene repaired guest bathroom ceiling that had suffered water damage. Also repaired kitchen ceiling, which was done improperly by a previous contractor. Gene was prompt throughout the project, friendly, courteous, hard-working and KNOWLEDGEABLE! His work perfection! He went over and beyond! I highly recommend him and would hire him again in an instant!
