Did not follow contract. Hired subcontractors that had no Idea what my contract stipulated and I could not communicate my concerns because they didn't speak English. Multiple times workers arrived with no parts or the wrong parts altogether. They even forgot to measure my front door bought and installed the wrong size door, even though it stipulated in my contract I paid more for it. Did I mention the midnight rain storm coming through my kitchen exhaust during the first rain? Judge for yourself, here is their work.

Zykan canâ t! They totally devalued our home with subpar installation and gave us a 3 year warranty on such and have ghosted us for 7 months. Do not recommend Fred Zykan to touch my property. He is a dishonest person, who should not be trusted to take care of one of the most expensive investments you have. He lies and scams and does not stand behind all the subcontractors he hires!!! We were told they had their own crews!!! Liars!!!!

Very professional and polite

My husband and I, like so many others in our neighborhood, had hail damage to our roof in June, 2016. We must have had 5 or 6 companies come knocking on our door. We heard about Fred Zykan from our neighbors who had their roof replaced about 2 years ago. We called him and he came to talk to us about the damage to our roof. We were very comfortable with his approach to business and knowledge about home exteriors. He is the 3rd generation of the Zykan family in business in the St. Louis/St. Charles area. We set up a date for the roof replacement. His team of workers completed the work in one day. We were impressed with their work ethic and efficiency. Fred takes extra safety precautions to make sure the front of the house is covered with a tarp, so there is no damage to garage doors and windows, The cleanup was terrific. No mess left behind!!! We are very satisfied with our new roof. After our roof was completed, at least four more nieghbors in our subdivision have had their roofs replaced. Thank you Fred Zykan for being an excellent and honest business man!!
