Greg was a great guy to work with. He was thorough with his inspection and gave us lots of information about the house we are about to purchase.

When I sold my house in NW Portland in 2013, the buyers of the house hired Stefan and A-team Home Inspection.  When I was given a copy of the inspection report, I was impressed with the level of detail and also somewhat shocked by the same level of detail.  Most inspection reports I've seen are nowhere near as detailed as Stefan's.  He spends quite a bit of time documenting the defects found in a home, categorizing them by functional area but then also pointing out the most critical items that should be taken into account when a house is sold. <br /> I say "shocked" since the report on my own house, a 4450 sq ft 3 level home, pointed out details/issues that could only be found with a very, very careful inspection.  I say this since I built the house and knew it inside and out.  <br /> I hired A-team in March 2014 for the purchase of an existing house that had questionable maintenance.  The 57 pages of inspection report was again very detailed and helpful.  In fact, I've been using this inspection report to decide which areas of the house to fix next now that I've moved in. <br /> These guys do really good work.  I'd use them again in a heartbeat. <br />

Stefan was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I followed him around while he did the inspection for our first home purchase. We learned so much from him during the inspection, and were very happy with his detailed report. We had some follow up questions, and he was very willing to answer questions over the phone after the inspection. We would definitely hire him again and have recommended his services to our family.

They were thorough. Went in the attic and crawlspace. Being first time home owners they took time to explain and talk to us. <br />

A Home Inspections did a limited specific inspection for me.  I phoned Mr. McGuire because I was concerned about potential damage that might have occurred from a roof leak.  He explained that he does not examine roofs, as such, to determine remaining life and whether replacement is recommended   --  he refers customers to actual roofers for that.  But he was very helpful in examining area where leak was occurring and outlining resulting damage.  I felt he was knowledgeable,  and also fair in adjusting the fee he would normally charge for a full home inspection.  I will definitely use him again. <br />

I really liked working with A-Team and appreciated that I could tag along during the inspection to understand the details.  Many inspectors like to write their report while doing it, so tag-along buyers are usually not welcome.  Not so with this firm - the inspector took the time to explain everything he was doing and everything that raised his eyebrow.  Our inspection was a hurry-up job due to the terms of the sale, and A-Team accommodated our needs.  They were on time, honest, looked into a lot of things I would have never thought of, and saved us from a few nasty surprises.  The report was provided in draft format (a quick overview of issues) the next day and the full report was provided within three days.  I feel the services performed were well worth the cost and that I was treated honestly by an honest business.  I intend to have A-Team to inspect my next purchase. <br />

I think he was on a list that my realtor gave me. I like my realtor, so I kind of went with them. I can't recall if they were on Angie's or not. Everything went absolutely well! I think his name was Stefan and he was awesome. I got to follow him around and he showed me all sorts of things basically it was like home owner 101. It was very cool!

We are preparing our house to go on the market and wanted a full inspection beforehand to identify any potential issues. I selected Stefan off of Angie's List based solely on the good reviews about his thorough reports. Setting up the appointment was easy and Stefan maintained excellent communication, sending a followup email before our inspection date as well as a phone reminder. He and his assistant arrived on time. He encouraged me to join him in the inspection if I wished and I received valuable feedback, commentary and constructive criticism when I accompanied him. He was very friendly and helpful and took care to offer plentiful positive comments along with the negative. He and his assistant spent a long time and were clearly very thorough, looking quite closely at every element of the house. The report that I received reflected this thoroughness.  It was filled with pictures and exceptionally detailed feedback, observations and suggestions. The inspection was worth every penny. I'm very pleased that I selected Stefan off of Angie's list and would definitely recommend him to friends and family for a home inspection. <br />

Great, will not mind using his service again <br />

We were very impressed with Stefan for his ability to find several potential issues with the house we were looking to buy. Since our house had already had two recent sale-fails, we were able to compare his work with the 2 previous inspection reports that were disclosed to us. The report Stefan provided us with was twice as detailed, and he also found a huge sinkhole underneath our porch that the previous two inspectors had apparently missed. <br />

Stefan did an absolutely fantastic job inspecting a house that I was about to purchase. During the inspection, he communicated clearly as he was going through the house, noting any areas of concern and answering any questions or concerns we had. He provided his report the 2 business days after the inspection and it was very thorough, covering each area that was inspected and pictures of all areas of concern. Stefan then spent another hour with me on the phone as we went over the inspection report together. Stefan and A-Team Home Inspections provided a very comprehensive and professional inspection service that includes a very thorough and clear report. Couple that with his great customer service and you can't go wrong. <br />

Our search for a home near my aging parents took months.  As noted above, we used Stefan's services for inspections of 3 different houses.  He was unfailingly prompt, courteous, professional, thorough and responsive.  His written reports are extensive and he  responded quickly to any questions we had after the inspection.  I simply cannot imagine that we would have wanted anything more from a home inspection.

They did a very thorough job. They seemed to point out things that were good concern. The gentleman who came out seemed very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Dan explained exactly what he was looking at, told me which problems mattered (and how to fix them), what could wait (and how long before minor problems could become major issues), and answered my questions. Dan sent me a pdf (with pictures) of the report the next day. I'm using his report, and my notes, to prioritize repairs and as a "To Do" check list.

Great; met at the house. They were recommended by my Realtor. Did the inspection, pointed out the stuff and explained it to me. Had the report on my email the next morning complete with digital photos.

Great people, punctual, and detail oriented. An all around great company.
