A1 Affordable Pressure Washing

Very good job at a very reasonable price. Responded promptly to inquiry, set a schedule and completed work as promised.

They are reliable, dependable, trustworthy, and very respectful. They were very careful of the landscaping around my house. They had all the right equipment so that nothing would spill and make a mess. They did a great job.

1. Unknown to us, Lance's crew came to pressure wash our house when we weren't home and entered the back yard through a locked gate. Lance agreed they did not do a very good job. 2. They did very little prep work or caulking. 3. In fairness, they did a very good job of masking windows and doors. 4. When they were done we noticed lots of missed spots, showing the original color. One of the workers said they weren't the painters, they were the pressure washer crew. 5. Lance came out and told us to mark all the spots with blue tape. It was quite a task, there were so many. We asked Lance why he had his pressure washer crew paint our house and he said, they need to get painting experience sometime. 6. They came back and tried to cover most of the missed spots. We still need to go around the house ourselves and do more touchups. 7. When they left the 2nd time they said they didn't have enough room for all of the trash. They left it in front of our house for Lance to come pick up. We said that was fine. However, they also took other trash from their truck from other jobs and left it. Several days went by with several phone calls to Lance, with no returned calls. We came home one day and the trash was finally gone. But with no call from Lance. 6. Lance offered to have his crew pressure wash our roof at no cost. We said ok. It has been months and several phone messages left, but no return calls from Lance. We are not sure if he is still in business. All we get when we call is a recording. 7. He signed an agreement with us to warranty this work for 2 years. But what good is it if we can not get a hold of him? On our 4th phone message (3 days ago) that we left this month, we said we were getting ready to send in our review....Still no response from him. We don't know if he moved to South America, or what.

Overall, the guys did a good job. House looks much, much better than before.

I expected to write a positive review of this company, but instead, it is mixed. Here is our experience. It took two calls several days apart to get a call back, but Lance eventually responded to our request for a bid on pressure washing our pole barn roof. He said he could do our sidewalks, patio pavers and composite deck, as well. He has a "surface cleaner" pressure washer, which I was not familiar with. It has jets that go around in a circle and clean a wider area than a traditional pressure washer. He said he had done all of the surfaces mentioned and they would all come out looking "like new". He and his assistant, Drew, came out two days later, which was great. He reminded Drew that you couldn't go too slowly with the equipment or it would leave swirl marks on the surfaces. Lance worked on the deck while Drew prepped the roof. Drew did most of the rest of the pressure washing - some with the surface cleaner, some with a regular pressure washer. The good part: the roof, sidewalk and patio look great. The bad part: once the deck dried, there were many, many circles on the deck where the jets had cleaned more thoroughly on the outside and slightly embossed the deck. The worst part: when we called Lance asking to talk about a solution, he did not return one call. We have, over 4 days, called him 5 times and just gotten his voice mail. We are very disappointed that Lance would not follow through with the customer service he had earlier said was so important to him. We are reasonable people and didn't want a new deck or anything - just to talk about ways to minimize the problem. Lessons learned: do not use a surface cleaner pressure washer on a composite deck, even if someone says it will work well. Do not expect A-1 Affordable Pressure Washing to satisfactorily resolve any issues. Once the work is done, they appear to not be concerned with the outcome.

Lance did a great job. It wasn't an easy job to do because the concrete was really black with build-up, and the landscaping bricks were covered with moss. He also had to be super careful not to splash dirt and mud up onto the house around the landscaping brick areas. Lance also cleaned things up well after pressure washing. I would definitely hire him again.

Went very well. All done to my satisfaction in a reasonable amount of time.

With the amount of buildings they had to do, they completed the project in under a week. Once they got started, they didn't stop until it was done to our satisfaction. The Paint Forman, Mike, was very accommodating to our concerns and took great care of everything. Very considerate work crew, respectful, and they cleaned up after themselves. We are extremely happy with the results. Our house has that WOW factor now and great curb appeal. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hiring an outside contractor is always a risk. The energy it takes to find a reliable, dependable, punctual and fair contractor is rare to say the least.  When you do, it is priceless.
