Seamless Metal Gutters - Install
Nissa, front staff, Chris and Armando, gentlemen who Dios the work, Amanda who came out to measure!! Phenomenal job! Outstanding detail work. Amazing people in this company!!! HIGHLY recommend. I was missing a downspout, 2 were in the wrong place, the splash guard (I think that's what they are called on the roof)... WOW WOW WOW!

Gutter Installation or Repair
Amanda told me the 'lifetime warranty' may not apply in certain storm-related situations (such as being within a certain distance of a named storm), which, based on my understanding, could limit coverage soon after installation in Florida. On my prior home, the gutters leaked at the seams from the time they were installed. I was also told by the President/owner of a Premier bay area roofing compmay that they previously used this company as a subcontractor but stopped due to reported installation-quality concerns and refusal to fix issues.

As a growing company, we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding data integrity. We took decisive action to part ways once it came to our attention that your internal practices, including your handling of sensitive and prohibited material, did not align with the legal and ethical standards we follow. Your claim regarding our roofing partners is factually incorrect. We chose to part ways with that roofing company just before we terminated your services due to the prohibited material you were managing for them. While we understand the frustration of being replaced, but we will not compromise our company's reputation or our client's security to accommodate substandard vendors. We consider this matter closed."

We hired them to install gutters and paid a deposit and then the final bill when they were done. They later sent us a bill with a late fee attached. Thinking we had forgotten to pay them, we paid it - a $1680 overpayment. When we realized this, we contacted them multiple times, sent them proof of payment, and requested our money to be returned. They have repeatedly told us they would refund the money, but never have. This has been going on for over a month. Their latest communication said our payment would be in our bank on 12/9. Still no money. They are trying to keep our money.

Gutter Installation or Repair
Several years ago, A#1 installed~25' of gutters along the 2nd story roof. The contract states in bold:"lifetime warranty on leaks/7-year labor/20-50-year manufacturers warranty" & their website claims "100% satisfaction guaranteed". Later a 10" section began to waterfall like overflow in heavy rain I requested a repair. They first said the problem was due to unclean gutters despite there being no trees above the 30' roof. They finally agreed to come out only to inform me it couldn't be fixed b/c the 6' wide gutters need to be 7" gutters to accommodate the water run off. I was not given any real answer when I asked why they didn't put up the wider 7" gutter in the first place. They later sent an estimate to replace the gutters 9x the original price! I pushed back & said I called to fix the gutters & if the only fix was to replace the 6" gutters they erroneously recommended be installed originally, then they need to pay for it or at least provide a discount. I never heard back from them

Based on my experience, I would not recommend hiring A#1 Seamless Gutter Solutions in Tampa for gutter repair or installation services. We contacted the company to address a gutter leak affecting one side of our home. The company provided an estimate, and we proceeded under the assumption that the leaking section would be replaced. However, the $2,950 estimate was solely for patching the leaks rather than a full replacement. When two technicians arrived, our security cameras showed that they brought only a ladder and did not transport any new materials to the affected area. We were surprised that nearly $3,000 was billed for what amounted to basic patchwork. Upon inquiring why the gutter was not replaced as expected, the company stated that my husband had approved the estimate. He did so believing it covered a replacement rather than minor repairs. We made a partial payment of $2,000, expressing concern over the high charge and the circumstances—particularly given my husband's age (77 years old). They obviously took advantage of an elderly person. We proposed making the final payment after the next rainfall to ensure the repairs were satisfactory. Today, we received written notice that unless we pay the remaining balance, the account will be referred to collections with an additional $500 fee. We paid the final balance to avoid having to fight this company and spent even more money for legal fees!! I also attached a picture to see how small this area really is …… This company should be ashamed of how they do business! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! If I could, i would rate this company a minus 5.

A#1 did an excellent job with the gutters on our new house in Sarasota. The team was very responsive to my request and the guys that installed the gutters were friendly and did an awesome job of installation. We will be looking at doing other parts of the outside in the future and will no doubt be using A#1.

Communication and work was good. I had a fairly small job (replace and install two sections of gutters and downspouts) and lots of other companies didn't want to be bothered with it. Luckily A#1 did the job for a fair price and got it done well and quickly.

This a reply to their response below. This shows that you didn't read the review fully and did not listen to me when I called to report the issue to you. I did not request a downspout to be placed in the center of a run. I asked for it to be placed on the other side of the corner, which would be at the end of a run. Not the center. Not the away from the corner. Simply at the other side of the corner. Yes a camera can be placed anywhere and I would agree IF the camera wasn't already in place. Why would I pay to move something that should've been accounted for during the gutter installation? And as for the pitch, I currently have 3/4" of standing water in some areas with a minimum of 1/4" in other spots. And this is 3 days after heavy rains so I'm sure it was 1" directly after the rain. Waiting on you guys to come fix the pitch at the very least since you won't move the downspouts. Ridiculous

The employees that cleaned my gutters did a good job. However, I believe I was over charged. The company had a special going on where you got 150 linear foot of gutter cleaned for $150.00. Then if you exceed the 150 foot you'd pay $1.00 per each additional foot. The job took 20 minutes and they charged me $450.00! I know everything costs more today, but I think that's crazy! The only overhead they have is an employee's salary and garbage bags.

A#1 Seamless did an amazing job on our gutters. From the initial phone call to setup a quote, to the final email followup to make sure we were happy and work was completed to our liking. Crew was on-time and efficient. The sales guy was honest, and explained exactly what we needed and they got it done. I would highly recommend them for your gutters.
