Unique challenges with original door installation. He did a good job of assessing the situation and afforded a good solution for replacing the door.

Easy and fast. Arrived with the needed parts. Much less expensive that some others listed on Angie's list. Came out the same day that the spring broke, so I was able to get my car out of the garage that evening.

Promptly replaced broken spring with two new ones. Explained to satisfaction what went wrong and addressed my concerns. Repair process was quick and rate was fair. I was very satisfied with the results and I would not hesitate to use A2Z again for all future garage door related needs.

Extremely disappointed with this company. Had good experiences in past and found them to be honest and reliable with good and friendly customer service, never a problem before. Not this time. Am wondering if this young couple recently bought this business from former owner. They have a lot to learn about how to do business, integrity and how to treat customers. Was told a tech would be there in an hour, so and he arrived three hours later. Later when I complained was told by owner that three hours is reasonable to expect. Wish I had been told the truth about that from the beginning so I could have planned my day accordingly. Instead this took up over half my day, wasted my time and resulted in lost income, which wouldn't have needed to happen if I had known.. Dispatcher told me the tech had misunderstood instructions, that he had told tech to do my job first before others, but tech told me he had been told to just come as soon as he could after other jobs, and that dispatcher (owner) hadn't called him until 45 minutes after I'd been told he would be here in an hour. Called several times. Last time I called was told tech was on his way and would be here shortly. Called back 35 minutes later and left message that tech was still not here and if he wasn't here in 5 minutes, would call other company. Never heard back. 45 minutes, later tech shows when I'm on the phone calling other companies. Tech told me I needed garage door reset and rebalance for $189. I told him I was already on the phone to other companies and was going to get another opinion. Shockingly, he gotstarted bargaining with me asking me how much I wanted to pay. He said $189 was the going rate. I had no idea how much to say I was willing to pay,. In retrospect, I should have stayed on the phone with other companies right then and there to get estimates. He tried to make me feel guilty by saying that I made him come all the way out there! Amazing! He finally said how about $150? My day was already ruined and did not want to wait any longer, so said okay. Was told I was getting a $39 discount because he was late. After he left, I called another company and asked what their rate was for rebalancing and resetting. He said $125-$175 depending on how many rollers were off. (In my case one, so it would have been $125.00) I feel ripped off , lied to, disrespected and conned and will NEVER use this company again. And now I see their last review on Angie's was an F. Wish I'd seen that before I called them in the first place. Worst part was that I then got long rants from the owner for complaining because they were having a bad day with sick kids ; (I told them I was sorry they were having a bad day, but it was really unfair and inappropriate of them to make that my problem and then was called cold for not being more understanding and sympathetic), and going on and on defending themselves, arguing with me and chewing me out about taking up their time, rather than just doing something meaningful to make this right. When I first called the owner/dispatcher and told him about the price differential with other companies I called, he said he would call around to find out the competitions' prices, and he would get back to me. I even gave him the number of the company I had called that had told me $125. I asked him if he would honor that price after verifying. He said he would check into it and call me back. He never did! Unbelievable!!! They must be new to this business, as they know very little about customer relations. Very upsetting experience. Definitely do not recommend this company.

Excellent job! Not only did they come out on a late Saturday evening with no extra charge. They picked up the part Monday morning and installed it. They did this all on my schedule. They were extremely nice at my house, and explained a lot to me about the garage door unit, and ways to keep it running longer. They even waived the service call since we were Angie's List members (Keep in mind they had to come out 2 times). In addition they offer a 1 year warranty on the parts even though Genie's actual warranty is only 90 days. By far and away one of the best service companies I have ever dealt with!

Lyle showed up and fixed the spring that was broken.....stated he could replace it with one spring or with two and left the decision up to me without any pressure. I went for the two springs option. Lyle also recommended replacing the rollers with I also had done. The door is much quieter and I received a lifetime warranty on the parts and I'm extremely satisfied weith both the service and price. I would recommend them to anyone. <br />

Lyle, the tech called with an estimated time and was prompt. Lyle arrived and was very courteous, professional and took the time to explain the process and assured us he was using high quality products. We have lived in Chandler for 25 years and prefer to use locally owned businesses. <br />

The garage tech came out, quickly reviewed the whole door, and provided a few options and prices to replace the springs. I chose to replace a single spring with a double spring with 5x life-cycle and lifetime warranty. <br /> The work took less than 1 hour and while talking to our tech about a squeaky issue he took the time to use the magic lubricant on all hinges and rollers to make our door quiet. It's so quiet now the kids and dog don't know when we are coming home! :) <br /> There was no unnecessary work done or suggested. The tech performed a post-installation review of all the components, ensured that the door was functioning as expected, and offered suggestions for self-maintenance. <br /> My only nit - and it's really not that huge - is that we were committed to have someone out to our house in 2 hours and it was closer to 3 ... that said it was a Saturday and I was thankful that we were able to find a good provider to come out in a relatively short time frame. <br /> Thank you to A2Z for an excellent job. While I don't want any future issues with my garage door(s) I know I can count on A2Z to help me out of a bind. <br />

The services with A2Z Garage Door was exceptional.  Our garage door was sagging on one side - about 2-3 inches lower than the other side. When I called for service, they let me choose the time frame when I wanted them to come - I chose that afternoon and they gave me the time between one and three.  They arrived around 2:00. <br /> John, the service man, said the problem was that the cable on one side was unraveling.  When he took it off he showed me that it was in very bad shape, and said we are lucky that my husband saw the problem before it could have snapped and hurt us. The other side was worn, but not in as bad of shape.  He also replaced the rollers, so the door goes up and down smoothly and he rebalanced the door.  He didn't have any rubber to weatherstrip the bottom of the door, so said he'd stop by the next day to finish the job.  However, his son arrived about an hour and a half later, and had the weatherstripping replaced in minutes. <br /> What seemed like a big crisis in the morning, is a great looking door by supper time.  Their prices were exactly what they quoted to me, and didn't seem too high.  Since I was a returning customer they didn't charge for the service call.  This is the third time we have used them, but the first time while on Angie's list.  We plan to keep them as our regular garage door repairman, but we hope we don't have to see them again too soon. <br /> <br /> <br />

Lyle showed up exactly when he said he would. He called ahead to verify his arrival time. He looked over the damage and was able to fix our door in no time. He replaced our siding and left no damage to our stucco. He went over all parts of our door and motor to ensure there was no fatal damage. Thankfully there was less damage than we thought. The whole project took less than an hour. We were thrilled. <br /> Lyle was informative and helpful. He answered all of our questions- even in 110 degree weather! A true asset to this company. Sometimes companies forget that their employees represent their company and wonder why their company fails. This company will never fail with people like this. <br /> We have found our garage door company, we will ALWAYS use this company. Have used this provider a couple times.  Has always been punctual and professional.  Pricing more than fair.  Takes the time to address any questions or concerns even if not related to the current service. <br />
