Received within short time a very attractive estimate which we accepted. Works started very soon afterwards. Painters were very professional and high quality. AAABR was able to meet our very high expectations. During the project we doubled the scope.

I hired AAABR Service Company to work on a two-bedroom condominium in Crystal Lake, IL. The owner, Ron Pecorini, is a complete professional all the way. This was one of the best and most satisfying experiences I’ve ever had in decades of hiring numerous trades people. Ron and his company “check all the boxes” when it comes to communication, work performed, and follow-through. In looking for a painting service, I contacted perhaps six different companies. Three of them never even had the courtesy to respond to phone calls or emails with a simple “no thanks, we’re booked.” In contrast, Ron was quick to respond and we were able to set up a mutually convenient time to meet. He and his crew manager, Jim, asked detailed questions, took notes, and made suggestions for minor repairs and patching that I might want to consider. His was the “mama bear” quote: I had one higher and one lower, but none of the other companies took as much time to completely understand the project. It was their attention to detail that won them the job. The 1100 sq. ft. unit had to be painted from top to bottom: all ceilings, all walls, all doors and trim. The crew did top-notch work and Ron and Jim set enough people on the job so that it was finished in less than three full days. But the thing that set AAABR apart from most other contractors is that Ron kept me informed every step of the way. I was in another state during the time that the painting was being done, and Ron sent several texts each day to keep me apprised of all activities and progress. He even kept tabs on other tradesmen that were in the unit at the same time. Now that’s service above and beyond!

Went very well! Ron came out and gave a quote and gave a reasonable estimate of when a crew could come out to get the job done. They were there for 3 days, HUGE improvement to the brightness of the house, very impressed with the work. Would hire again!

Best experience ever! From the estimate, to scheduling during the Polar Vortex, it all was a breeze! It looks so much better than I imagined. Already thinking what else I want painted! I would recommend them without hesitation. All completed within the timeframe they mentioned. No hidden costs. I kept waiting for the “it’s too good to be true” moment - but it was awesome!

They were spectacular. They came in assessed the damages and cost. Provided a estimate right away. Started working immediately. They worked long days and long hours. They did not leave until job was done and satisfactory. We did a walk thru in the end and everything was gorgeous. The painting was beautiful. The walls looked like they never suffered. They even replaced the doors and painted and professionally hung them. Very very happy with the work they did.

AAARB deserves 5 stars for Ron's friendly phone skills, Mark's quick and accurate estimate, the painters' and the carpenter's fine craftsmanship, problem solving and everyone's excellent customer service. They all made my 60 year old ranch with dated wallpaper, drab paint and original trim (last painted 20+ years ago) now sparkle and shine with Sherwin Williams Extra White (SW 7006) paint. Parts of my basement had never even been painted before. Jimmy did an excellent job caulking in the bathroom. All the painters are great. I will hire them all in a heartbeat for exterior work as soon as weather permits. I appreciate their suggestions, their skill, and the quick pace. Everything went exactly as explained and as planned. They left my house clean and tidy and bright. Excellent work by everyone involved.

Excellent work, and finished in 3 days. Extras like power washing plus anti-mold, filling any rotted wood, cleaning gutters, etc.

It went well. I had some trouble selecting the paint colors due to the dark colors that previous owners had on walls. This necessitated painting some rooms more than once, which raised the original estimate. The painters were very patient and cooperative. I am Planning on using this company again.

I had them paint my Father In-laws house. They painted the living room, dinning room, both bedrooms and a den. There were three full time painters for two days. When I went to check on them unannounced, the supervisor was there too. It was a big job, they had to move furniture and there was no touch up necessary. When they smoked they went outside. They brought their own food and even their own microwave versus using the home. The boss also put me in touch with a house cleaning company. When it was done other than the fresh paint smell you saw nothing. They stuck to it and got it done, and finished four hours ahead of schedule. There was one issue with a vertical blind they removed to to paint, I ended up having to put it back. I found them on Angie's List and reported and link wasn't missing and got in touch with you and had it fixed. They were there for the estimate, showed up on time for the paint and got it done ahead of schedule. I was really pleases.

They arrived a bit earlier than I expected but they did a good job and everything went well.

It went so well that we are hiring them to do the interior, power washing and move out cleaning. For landlords, this company is a one stop company. The various trades coordinate and this saves me time and money.

Spoke to the owner as soon as I called. did the work when he said they would with no mess.

Recommend for painting and drywall (DRYWALL ESPECIALLY)! One of the owners gave us a quote for the job, was incredibly personable, and got us in for said quote immediately. In addition, he found a way to squeeze us in asap. The two men that were sent were quite nice and professional; they were friendly and quiet. In addition, the morning before they arrived, my husband realized that I had forgotten to request that they paint the half bathroom (listed above) as part of the job - but I called the owner that gave me the quote, and he found a way to clear the workers' schedules so that they could complete the work (only adding a totally reasonable $140 for an entire, inconvenient half bath) for us without complaint. In general, they did a good job - however, there were a few minor problems. When they arrived the first day, they seemed very confused/surprised to see that there was a large whole in the ceiling that needed repairing prior to painting...but that was the main issue that needed resolving. They made some calls, and had to leave to pick up some supplies, but then came back and got started. They were, for the most part, fairly clean both days that they were here, but there was some mess that made me a bit unhappy...my sink was a mess when they left both days, and I found random bits of paint and drywall plaster splattered throughout the house (on tile, carpet, and other surfaces) that I had to try to deal with, and there was some paint that bled from the walls to the trim/overlap to other colors (walls) that they did not fix up in various places. In addition, there was one random area in a corner in the hallway that was not "cut in" correctly over a drywall repair that looked really bad. The owner did not ask for payment until he came out a day after the job was finished to verify that the job was done (and, I think, that he and his partner are the only ones that handle the money). I brought up that there were some issues, but that, overall, things went mostly okay (things were much better the first day than the second - I don't know if maybe they were rushed the second day because of the addition of the bathroom...?); I did say that I couldn't let the corner of the hallway stand the way it was, and he fixed it on the spot before accepting the check. Overall, even with the minor issues, the cost was still incredibly fair, and I'd still use the company again without hesitation. The problems were - as compared to most contractors I've dealt with - quite minor, and I enjoyed dealing with them. They were prompt, friendly, and easy to deal with...which seems quite hard to find in a contracting company these days!

they were on time and focused on my cleaning expectations.  Good job.

They were to arrive at 1:00.  At 12:15 I received a call saying they would arrive between 2:00 - 2:30.  They arrived at 4:00 without any reason as to why.  My home was in pretty good shape to start with.  However, I knew of a few areas that they should have cleaned.  They did not.  Master bath vanity top was not thoroughly cleaned (tooth paste spot and could still feel hairspray). The mirror was not cleaned.  Shower door was streaked.  Powder room mirror had water spots and faucet had dust on it.  Trash not emptied.  Asked for baths, floors and windows/blinds to have special attention.  Most window sills and blinds still dusty.  Kitchen stove still had dirty spots.  Laundry room rug and front door small rug were not removed when floor was washed.  House did not spell clean at all.  Actually ended up with a dirty smell.  Washed floors didn't feel clean when barefoot. <br> <br>I would NOT recommend this service.  The ladies could not wait to get out of the house.  I assume because they ran so late and it was a Friday. <br> <br>If I could get a refund I would.
