Quoted up to 96 sq.ft. decking, shingles, flashing, drip edge. Work only required 25 sq. ft. shingles only, not other material, & replacement shingles light brown on dark brown/black roof. Home Depot had 56 bundles of my color in stock. Ouoted to remove up to 128 sq ft of drywall, wipe down, & run ozone machine 24-48 hrs. for mold & replace drywall. Work required 5.0 sq. ft. area cleaned & drywall replaced & ran ozone machine 24 hrs., no active mold was growing. High priced quote was given due to unknown under each area. Took half down payment before coming out to start work. When finished would not settle for less than down payment. Too much.

"we are sorry that Mrs willk unhappy. we gave her an estimate before we started work she saw the work we did what we agreed to do. we went searching for the shingles that she had but we could not match the color we advised her this before we put the shingles on the roof. when she was unhappy we lowered our price $2,200. all she felt that we deserved to make a profit is $300. she also didn't want to remove the drywall in the bathroom because she didn't want to repair it. she called a handyman and a handyman gave her a price but the handyman is not licensed the handyman is not insured the handyman does not have Workers Compensation Insurance."

John backed out of our agreement suddenly by text message and completely fabricated a strange and confusing story that it was because he had tried to pick up a 50% upfront deposit for the job 3 times and was turned away (did not happen.) I can only assume that they found a bigger job or decided they weren't going to make enough off the deal and wanted to get out of the agreement. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. So glad I hadn't given them a deposit yet and they didn't actually do any more work on my house! What else would he lie about!

"we gave this customer an estimate about a year ago. I got a call from her husband telling me they wanted to move forward on the agreement. being that the estimate was over a year old I had to re-measure the rotary estimated I gave them to a new estimate and they agreed. there was lots of rain her husband called me he said can you come do a tarp because you can't fix a roof in the rain and pick up the check to get started. her husband was out of town but his wife said no they didn't want to move forward at this time that they wanted to get other restaurants I said no problem then they called me and asked me to come to their house on August 31st. I came to their house and again I tried to pick up deposit to start work and she says no I don't have access to my husband's account I'll have to wire you the money in the morning. then by text message you tell me know I can't give you a wire in the morning that maybe I'll give you a check on Saturday or Wednesday after three times of trying to collect the deposit and7 being given excuses, I just responded to her that we were going to pass on to work. I can't pay my bills I can't pay my material with broken promises so I told him that it was best if we go our own ways and she find another contractor. I'm sure they'll find another contractor and I'm sure they'll do a good job for them it's just I am not the contractor for them"

AAA construction is the contractor we hired to remodel our house. Kitchen, bathrooms, floors, essentially the entire interior of the home. From day one, until we moved in and even until recently when a small adjustment needed to be made, their professionalism, attention to detail and talents as contractors were second to none. We met with many contractors before we sat down with John to discuss our plans and before Dustin came to our house to start the remodel. I can honestly say that we were lucky in hiring them. These days it is difficult to find a skilled much less honest contractor to perform even simple jobs. When you add the knowledge and experience they have I believe it would be very difficult to match. Their work ethic is what some of us would refer to as old school. Again this is something you can appreciate after you meet with enough other companies and realize how many impostors there are in Dade County. John Walters and the AAA Construction and Restoration team are highly recommended. Our townhouse was built in 1967 and the bathroom was in serious need of remodeling, including significant water damage to the living room ceiling. John and his staff accompanied us to Home Depot twice to assist in selecting materials. The construction team was professional, hard-working, and always aimed to please. In fact, realizing that being out of the home was difficult for our family, the team even worked on Thanksgiving. They also even came the day after Thanksgiving to ensure that everything was perfect. It was. Our new bathroom is beautiful, the ceiling repaired, other work was also done and we are extremely pleased with the results. John Walters and the AAA Construction Team are A++. Work done included: Full bathroom remodeling with new shower/bath, toilet, vanity, mirror, fixtures, floor and shower tile with border, light fixtures, vent, painting. We called the company (AAA Construction Restoration Services) to repair a leak in our roof. John Walters responded immediately and made an appointment to come to our home the next day. He was on time , looked over the situation and gave us an estimate by text.! We agreed and the very next morning , on time as promised, several men showed up and began working right away. They were very hard working, no goofing around, and repaired the problem . They even painted an area where there was damage (which was not even in the estimate) They also cleaned up everything and hauled away any debris. <br> Having previously dealt unhappily with Miami construction companies, I was very happily surprised and pleased with all aspects of the way AAA dealt with me. I called several companies to get a quote and neither one showed interest in coming over to inspect the damage unless I was comfortable with their phone quote and gave them some confirmation that I would be working with them. AAA Construction was the only company that scheduled a next day visit for a visual inspection of the damage without any guarantee that they would get the job. The owner came in and explained what would need to be done depending on the extent of the damage once the wall and flooring was removed. I received a quote the very next day. All my questions regarding the quote and work were answered before I even agreed to do the job with them. <br /> Regarding the job itself, the crew that was sent to my house was very professional and did a really nice job (a lot of attention to detail). They were bilingual (Spanish and English) which is a plus for me since my husband doesn't speak Spanish and my mother who was the one at home letting the crew in to do the repairs only speaks Spanish. The crew was very careful leaving everything clean whenever they finished for the day. <br /> The entire job took about a week, just like they had anticipated, and I'm really pleased with the results. <br /> I would definitely hire AAA Construction again if needed. <br /> <br />

"I did not give him a roof bid I did not look at his roof. He wanted a handy to redo do his bathroom for 1000.00 and I could not do it for his price. I gave his number to a handyman to give him a call. I did not work over the news years week and could not help him. I did not know the handyman did not call him. He never called and this review is the first I ever heard back from him."

"Yes we had an issue with this customer. We had to send an electrician not a handyman for this job. We could not send a laborer to do electrical work. He bought an angies list coupon for 59.00. We took the loss and honored the coupon. We are sorry he is unhappy but we had had to send the right person for the job."

It was the worst service I have ever had. The dates they said they were going to start, they didn't start. The dates they said were coming, they didn't. They didn't finish the work and I had to beg them to come back and complete the work.

"Mr [Member Name Removed] was a real gentleman and we thank him for the work. As I advised Mr [Member Name Removed] I sent a sub contractor out to paint his ceilings Its almost impossible to paint ceiling and not get paint on the walls. We had to come out and touch up the paint. It took 3 months for the insurance company to pay us for this work. We had to weait for a deposit to start. These were issues beyond our control . We sat down with Mr [Member Name Removed] and also agreed to do additional work so I am surprised to see this review."

This was mixed feelings. We were going away for a big trip and he promised to show up on time and he didn’t. By the time he came we tried to work out what to do and he did it partially or in a different way that we originally agreed. He was not responsive. He was supposed to replace a construction around the house. One thing that he didn’t do that annoyed me was that he didn’t removed all the debris.

<p>When we discovered a hole in our roof (thanks to a nasty water stain on our bedroom ceiling), I had a difficult time finding a roofer who would take my call, let alone send someone out to repair my roof in a timely fashion. I left messages with 3 or 4 roofing companies and didn't get a single returned call. When I called AAA they anwered my call and talked to me about my problem for a go... view moreod 15 minutes. They told me rain was forecast for the next day, and he sent a crew out first thing in the morning to come and make the repair. The crew showed up on time to make the repair and finished it just as the rain started to fall. They were quick, efficient, and polite, and it was wonderful to sit inside and look at the rain that day, knowing my roof was repaired and protected. A rep even called me later the same day to ensure everything had gone well. A company that puts this much effort into helping a client with a half-dollar sized hole in her roof is truly going above and beyond with customer service</p> <br />

I have a lot of work I need done on my home so I bought an Angie's List deal for a contractor for a week. After meeting with John he said this would cover replacing my bedroom ceiling and pulling up an old carpet. I also needed a bathroom renovated so we added that on for an additional price. <br /> For the most part everything went smoothly and I was happy with the work done. The bathroom looks nice, and AAA Construction is actually working on my other bathroom now. I would recommend them. <br />

They were able to match the other exam rooms exactly so they look like they'd always been there (except newer). Jon is one of those rare commodities in Miami: <strong>A CONTRACTOR THAT ANSWERS THE PHONE. </strong> He also <strong>SHOWS UP WHEN HE SAYS HE'S GOING TO SHOW UP. </strong> On top of that, his prices are really good (we got several estimates and Jon's was better than a couple others), his guys do high quality work and <strong>THEY SHOW UP AND ACTUALLY DO THE WORK.</strong> I can recommend them without reservation. I couldn't be happier with the work and will definitely use again.

From the outset Dustin was very attentive to what we wanted in our new bathroom. He sent Tom out to perform the demo and he was really great to work with. He sealed all of the doorways and took all of the debris out the door towards the pool. There was never an issue of dust or construction debris in the other parts of our home. Tom also performed all of the plumbing relocating and new drywall installation. The tile guys came in and were fast and also did a great job. Tom set the new plumbing fixtures and the last people were the glass enclosure people and everything fit perfectly. Dustin came to the jobsite every day and made sure that if we had any questions that he answered them and addressed any concerns that we (my wife) had. <br />

This condo is located in Florida and I am not. I was very anxious about having the work done when I was not there to ensure that everything was done correctly, but it turned out my concerns were completely unnecessary. Dustin took care of everything; I was thrilled to find someone honest and competent to handle the many problems encountered. In addition, he did a great job of keeping me informed. Dealing with the City of Hallandale was no walk in the park, but Dustin did a fabulous job of handling the frustrations of dealing with the permitting as well as getting the final inspections. <br /> It is actually somewhat difficult to find contractors who will work in condos because their rules are so complicated and arbitrary. AAA Construction handled all that as well as providing the necessary subcontractors to redo all the work. Neither the Hemispheres Condo Association nor the City have any interest in making things easy for contractors. <br /> Ultimately, they were able to get the job finished and have the work inspected by the city so that we could sell the unit. If you need work done in the Miami/Hallandale area, I cannot recommend highly enough that you use this company. <br />
