From the original phone conversation, the contractor appeared to be very pleasant. I scheduled for him to come see the job Sunday (1/12/25) at 10:00 and he was very punctual, which I respected. After showing him the job that needed to be done, we settled for $6500. Since I agree to give him the job, The contractor stated that he could start the job immediately by pressure wash the house with two of his crews outside. Since he seemed to be very generous, I agreed to let them start the job while we try to get the contract together. Afterward, the contractor told me that he will need some deposit so he could go to the store to buy material so he can start the job. Since his crews were still outside working, I handed him $1000 cash and had him charge my credit card for $500. The contractor then left house to buy material and told that he will work until 6pm that day. One hour later, his crew were gone. I did not think much of it at the moment because I thought they left to help him. I called the contractor to confirm what had transpire, and he did not answer right away. He, then, returned my calls two or three hours later telling him that he was watching a soccer game with his wife and that he would start the job first thing Monday morning. I, then, told him that I would prefer if he could start the job today (1/15/25) since I am off. To make a long story short, that same Sunday afternoon, I received a fraud alert text from my chase bank account letting me know that someone was trying to cash app some money for $206. 00. I was saying to myself, I never had that issue before. It was kind of strange to me. Since it was late I just slept on it, so I called the bank in the morning. To continue, the contractor called me first thing Monday morning to ask him why I did block the $500, I advised the contractor that they payment was not blocked but someone tried to access my account after I let him charge it yesterday. The contractor did not comment much about the incident. I then login to my account and send a picture to him to show him that the payment was processed. From there, he said that he will stop by 8 in the morning today with his crews to actually start the project. Since the contractor did not show up, I took the initiative to call him to see if he was still coming. He confirmed me that it will take him 45 minutes from 8 am and he has yet to call nor show up. I believe that I scammed by that contractor.

I paid in full $1400. The workers did not show up on the days they were supposed to. They did show up on Friday and did about an hour or an hour and a half of work but are no where near done. Tommy, will not answer my calls, notary my wife s calls. I fear I have been ripped off.

Started out satisfactory , they sealed most of the cracks and put on a coat of sealant - I wasn't present for most of the work got there after they were done. The sealer they used didn't cover well so I paid him another $350 on top of the agreed price of $1,500 - totaling $1,850 which was paid by checks.
