I have to admit they were nice enough to let me write them a check and post date it. Unfortunately it got deposited before the money came in so the checked bounced. I had to sell some more of my investments ( apple stock ) to pay the man. The money will be in my account in a few days, so I guess I can not blame them for not coming back to my house, but the yard stinks. I will let you know if he does come tomorrow. I will change my review once the animal is removed.

Recently I found a dead fox in one of my feral cat houses. After checking on Angie's List I called this vendor the morning I discovered it. He gave me the price over the phone and his nephew arrived two hours later to removed the animal. His nephew was very professional and polite. I really appreciated their prompt and courteous response. Hope this never happens again, but if I ever need this type of service in the future I would definitely call them.

With freezing temperatures finally upon us and a neighborhood with a squirrel population explosion afoot, we found ourselves with a pesky, persistent squirrel h***-bent on chewing its way into our attic via the roofline just under our gutters. It was a corner of the house too tight for us to fully reach and effectively secure from inside the house, and too high and dangerous for us to reach from a ladder outside. It was clearly a job to be done ONCE and RIGHT, A JOB FOR PROFESSIONALS. Bewildered by the chewing and persistence, I left a message for Mr. Merritt on Wednesday, January 12. He called me back within a few hours. He was a delight to speak with. He sent technicians Ray and CJ out early (8:30AM) the next morning, January 13th. They had all the right equipment and expertise. The hole was confirmed vacant. They stuffed it with steel wool and shored up the hole with aluminum sheeting and screwed it on tight. For the first time in about 5 days I could relax and not worry about listening for that awful chewing sound, neither running out of my house nor sticking my head out our attic window to shoo-away that darned squirrel. These men did a great job. The condition of our fascia board was in very good shape (not rotted or in bad shape to start with), so it was just unfortunate that the squirrel chose THIS SPOT to work so hard to get in. We could not have done the job ourselves, safely or as efficiently as these gentlemen did. They knew what materials to use, and they had it all ready to install. They were able to a**** the situation and provide a remedy that would work well for us. The job was done in about 45 minutes. The charge was perfectly reasonable and I would certainly call them again if I had another problem. I would also recommend them to everyone.

Having racoons in the attic was a harrowing experience for me and my family.
We called two other companies who were terrible and incompetent and just delayed our agony for 6 weeks with no results.
We finally found AAA Wildlife and within the next few days they trapped the culprits in our house.
They also sealed all the entry points.
It has taken me over a year to write this review but I am finally able to sing their praises in writing.
This is a great company and I would highly recommend them.
They were wonderful!
Provider arrived on May 15. They placed and baited Hav-A-Hart traps under the front steps, and said they'd be back every day or day-and-a half to replace the bait. Charge was $225 (included a $25 Agnies discount) plus $75 for each animal removed.
Things seemed to go OK for the first week, but then we noticed the bait wasn't being replaced regularly. We had been away for 4 days over Memorial Day weekend and when we returned the we saw the bait had not been touched by man nor beast. I called them and they came our and replaced the bait (originally they used Twinkies and later cupcakes) with cracked-open cans of sardines. The bait was not touched for a week, at which point they came back and pulled the lids off the cans. For the next few weeks I don't know which was worse, the smell of the skunk or that of the sardines. Towards the end we actually preferred the smell of the skunk. At least it didn't draw every fly from miles around. I would have at least expected them to trap our neighbor's cat.
Finally, on the morning of July 4, we noticed the traps were gone. No note, no phone call, no notice of any kind. I called and left voice mail saying I noticed the traps were gone, please call me and let me know what's next. Never heard back.
This provider's service was not good. They are particularly non-communicative. The only time I heard from them was in response to a call from me. We were provided no status (other than what we could glean for ourselves, i.e., no skunk in the trap) and like a roving carnival, they packed up their stuff in the night and left town.
Meanwhile, our neighbors across the street had a groundhog ravaging their garden. They put out a trap baited with apples and caught the critter in one day.
Maybe this provider doesn't know how to deal with skunks, although you'd think they'd have told us that. Their order form lists several types of animals that could be checked off. "Skunk" had to be written into the "Other" entry, so that tells me they don't (want to) do skunks very often.
By the way, we still have the skunk. Any takers?

They set the traps and almost immediately the first one was caught. When I called they came out as soon as they could and got it.Always the same day. Since then I've had six caught the techs were great. It can be expensive if you have a lot. so far I don't have anymore. I would call them again
Tony and his crew were great - visited several times and thought at first it was a mouse but quickly realized we were dealing with more than that. They set traps in a few spots, filled the holes in my attic (and outside) and came back a few times. They caught 2 flying squirrels and its been quiet ever since - great job at a very reasonable price....thanks Tony!
They were helpful on the phone when I questioned them about raccoon removal in general. I asked a lot of questions because of the problem with the first company I employed. The tech went into the attic and over to the place where the animal was living. He was able to assure me that there was no poo, babies or other problems to clean up. They seemed fully prepared to do this work if necessary. The tech built an attractive "box" reinforcement of the area of soffit where the animal had pushed in. My impression was that he had a lot of experience with doing it. The raccoon has not ripped the repair apart--I do not know if the raccoon came back to try. The repair appears to be sufficient to prevent that. A raccoon is strong and has clever hands. The tech also fixed an area of soffit that had been pushed up a little. He stayed on the roof and worked on this until he succeeded. (A roofing company I hired to do this, as part of other work, gave up after not trying too hard--of course they charged me anyhow. ) I wish I had called this company initially. I have full confidence that they would handle any other wildlife problem I may have.
I've been working with Anthony (Tony) Merritt, Service Manager, since mid-July to rid my house of a family of groundhogs that dug a hole under my front walk and moved in! Tony was immediately responsive to my late-night inquiry via e-mail and contacted me by phone the next morning to follow up. He was out the same day to set a trap and explain the process - which is still going on. These are humane traps that do not hurt the critter and once caught, they are removed to a distant area (so they can't find their way back to me) and set free.
Turns out the little guys had burrowed below ground and made a tunnel exiting at my next door neighbor's steps. This meant an additional trap had to be set and both properties will require treatment to complete the job. So far we've captured 5 groundhogs and 2 baby opossums that were removed from the property - and 1 unhappy squirrel that I set free!
Each time I find a "guest" that has dined on the bait, I call the office and someone comes out within 24 hours to pick up the trap and set a new one. Tony is very responsive, even on weekends or when he is in another area, to make sure the animal does not sit in the trap very long. When we are certain that no other groundhogs are still living under the house, the remaining work will be completed.
The original quote was $295.00 less a $25.00 discount for being an Angie's list member. I paid 1/2 when the job started and will not be required to make additional payment until completed. Understandably, the quote was for my house only and now that another property is involved, that may change. I am very pleased with AAA's work, the friendly and professional manner in which calls are handled, and the years of experience Tony brings to the job.
Had a family of 2 adults and 6 kits living under my deck. In the first 3 days, they trapped the mother and removed a kit which had fallen into a window well. Tony knew that the mother was the key to getting the family/families out. Once the mother was removed, the second adult and 5 kits left and never came back.
I obtained quotes from 4 vendors - $1000, $900, $750 and $450 (AAA quote). When Tony came back to remove the remaining traps, he told me to forget about the remaining payment. Not a bad price for solving my problem.
Tony and all of his people were very friendly and professional, always showed up when promised and GOT THE JOB DONE! I would recommend AAA for any pest control problem.
Mr. Merritt first came out to inspect my property for ants and termites the same day that I called him. He returned several days later to do the work. He arranged a time so that I could be at home when he was at my house. He arrived promptly and completed the work efficiently. I would definitely use him again should I have a future problem with either insects or wildlife.
