Aarons Estate Sales LLC

<p>Aaron's Estate Sales (AES) responded promptly when I called, and were able to hold my sale very quickly.  Other places I called wanted 4-6 weeks to hold the sale.  AES managed to hold it within 2 weeks.  That was great, as there was a time constraint placed upon us.</p> <p>AES came out and set everything up quickly and nicely. I thought they set the initial prices too high, but they explained that potential customers want to negotiate on the price on everything and that setting the prices high initially was necessary.  </p> <p>It took AES more than two weeks to get the check for the sale to me, which I thought was way, way too long.  The check should have been in the mail no more than two days after the sale as far as I'm concerned.</p> <br />

The sale went wonderfully.  Aaron and his people were genuinely helpful and professional.  They were extemely accommodating to us as homeowners and behaved equally towards all he "customers" at the sale.  Prices were spot on.  They sorted the donations from the "chaff" and hauled away the trash as promised.  Aaron was very helpful in referring us to charities for our donations. <br />

We were excited about moving forward with the Sale. <br /> 1st and foremost, Aaron's Estate Sales asked us to leave and not be present at during the Sale.  We were extremely shocked and uncomfortable - and for good reason! <br /> When we returned, Aaron's Estate Sales sold our high end and valuable furnishings for nearly nothing, even after they were told how much the hand made rugs and furnishings were valued at, and that the rugs could be sold at a Rug Dealer for this price - they sold the rugs  and my other furnishings for much of nothing in comparison.  <br /> <strong><em>I am still in shock as are my family and friends.<br /> Truly an expressive lesson on our part - BUYER BEWARE!!!</em></strong> <br />

<p>Aaron was prompt, professional and responsive during the entire process. He sorted, cleaned, and displayed literally thousands of items from our home. Our house was the repository for  things from many branches of the family, and there is no way we could have sorted, packaged and distributed it on our own.  We tried and gave up about 1/3 of the way through. We found Aaron on Angie's list, and when he came for an estimate we learned that he did all aspects of this process.  While we had some "antiques", most of the contents were what we considered "just old stuff'. We did not expect much financially, but welcomed the service of just getting rid of things so that we could actually move. Aaron has a very significant following. He displayed a large number of pictures of the sale items on his web page.  The sale ran for three full three days, and although a good deal of items were left, the results far exceeded our expectations.</p> <p>I had only two problems. One was that the edge of some floor tiling was damaged in the clean out process, and the other was that we had a misunderstanding regarding what would be considered things to be donated verses what was  junk. I was left with a massive amount of furniture and  bagged stuff in my two garages which I felt were not clearly marked as to "donate" and "discard".  Also, I felt much of the discard pile should have been donated and much of the stuff in the donate pile should really have been discarded. I would suggest that if it matters to you, you should take care of those decisions yourself or at least be very clear up front as to this issue. The house itself was left completely empty and cleaned as promised.</p> <p>When I told Aaron about the problem with the tile, he and his father came  immediately and repaired it. I did go through the rest of the things and resort them, but Aaron offered  to come and help me  and to move the trash to the curb. He came just as he said he would and helped me with this at no additional cost, and with a great attitude.</p> <p>Aaron was very responsive to my complaints, made no excuses and left me with the impression that he would use the complaint to make his business still better</p> <p>I can unreservedly and enthusiastically recommend Aaron's company, and would most definitely use them again.</p> <br />

I hired Aaron's Estate Sales to conduct an estate sale on the premises of my childhood home. They were The estate sale was done on the weekend that we had agreed. Aaron and his team showed up as scheduled on the first day to start the work for preparation. They were very knowledgeable and took care of my family's possessions. They were meticulous on the way they did the setup and staging of my home and my belongings. Organized all my stuff correctly and grouped it all where it should be as to show how well their company was with organization. Aaron said i could be there for the sale while it was going on but i preferred to be away (sometimes its hard to see your belongings go out the door). After the sale was over Aaron and I met at my house and I went through and picked the stuff that i didn't want his company to throw in the dumpster and donate. After the clean out was all finished they broom swept the rest of my house. Aaron and I scheduled a time to meet and we went over the paperwork and he paid me as such. Aaron's company was very professional throughout the whole process. <br />

I had a lot of stuff from my mother, my grandmother, and my ex-wife. I had a lot of different things and I had an estate sale to sell as much as I could. They gave me an estimate of what I would take in from the sale and they doubled that number. It was a very pleasant surprise. They did a really good job.

We inteviewed 2 estate sales companies and chose Aaron's because of his enthusiasm, fair price, services to be performed and reviews on Angie's List.  Aaron and Bobby worked most of 4 days setting up and organizing the house contents, pricing, and placing advertising.  They were very flexible and cooperative which allowed us to stay in the house while they were prepping for the sale.  We confined ourselves and items we wanted to keep to one upstairs bedroom and one end of the basement rec room. We stayed at a friends house while the sale was going on.  On Sunday afternoon we met with Aaron and settled and divided the sale proceeds.  He arranged for a charity to come on Monday (we were away) to take leftover items.  Aaron and Bobby hauled all remaining trash to the curb for pickup.  When we arrived back at the house several days later it  was completely cleared out as agreed.  Even though the total sales proceeds were a bit disappointing Aaron fulfilled all the agreed services.  We wouldn't hesitate to engage him again.  Good job Aaron and Bobby.
