ABBA APPLIANCE REPAIRS

It was wonderful. My dryer works, Randy arrived when he said he would and he cleaned up his work area before leaving.

He came, inspected it, told us he would order the part and call back with quote. He never called or returned my numerous calls, voice-mail or texts! We respectfully waited for his call, to give him our business but ended up having to pay another repairman again and wait for the part to come in! We wasted time, money and spoiled groceries!

Repair failed 5 days after it was done, and Mr Ruiz [proprietor] failed to answer repeated calls and texts asking that he honor his stated warranty. Another company had to be hired to effect a proper repair.

I see this company has not had a review in a while. my guess is that is because they go beyond if necessary to get the job done and done right. In my case the repairman called me back in a short time and came over in a few hours with the parts to repair my appliances. The disposal was repaired in a short time. However, the new motor for the dishwasher was broken. He reassured me he would order a new motor ASAP. He did and when he received it there were missing parts. At that point thru no fault of ABBA, I decided my 4 yr old top of the line Kenmore dishwasher was as mistake. Bought a Kitchenaid not so top of the line and installed it myself. So far so good. Thanks ABBA.

Very professional.  Courteous,  explained that the reservoir could take several hours to defrost.  Later that evening it still hadn't defrosted.  We left a message and he called back first thing on Sunday morning by then the reservoir was defrosted.  Very pleased with this company and with our first time experience with Angie's List. <br />

He ran the washing machine to see if it was malfunctioning.  He said it was malfunctioning.  I used it after and it seemed to be fine.

Robert is very professional. have used him many times over the years. trust him and know that he is giving you the correct diagnosis and fair repair price. <br />

I have used ABBA Appliance Repair for about 15 years. They have always been fair in estimating their arrival time, reasonably priced, and pleasant. They do dependable work -- they have never had to return to fix a "fix." On occasion, when I have been desperate, they have squeezed me in after hours. Robert or his son have repaired my stove, my refrigerator, and my washer at various times over the years. A couple of times, when the problem was "operator error," they figured that out, gave me instructions, and left without charging me. Most recently, when I called because my old washer broke again, Robert asked a few questions, gave me an estimate for parts and labor to repair, and advised me that, considering the age of my washer, I would probably be better off replacing it. He even gave me advice when I called again to ask for recommendations about which washer to buy. I know absolutely nothing about repairing appliances, so, having someone I can trust is essential. I can trust Abba.

They were really good. They did a nice job. He also cleaned the dryer vent for free while he was here.
