Frank and Ricardo of Abbey Carpet & Floors removed old carpets & pads and installed new carpets & pads. They spent a long day, worked very hard, and did an excellent job. We are very happy with how it all turned out. They were careful moving our furniture and returning it to where it belonged. Frank is a master and Ricardo was right there assisting. Gabriel took good care of us in the scheduling department so thank you to him too. Choosing new carpet can be overwhelming with all the choices out there but we had good guidance. We would use Abbey Carpet & Floors again.

We had the great good fortune of having Greg tile our bathroom floors. He did an outstanding job. A worker in another trade asked who did our tile work because it was the best he had ever seen and we agree with him. Thanks, Greg! You are a skilled craftsman who takes pride in his work and pays attention to detail. We are very pleased with the work you did for us. Abbey Carpet and Floors is lucky to have you do work for them.

If you need flooring/carpet, then look no further than Abbey Carpet. Our entire experience was wonderful. Seth was very honest and up front with the cost and time frame. Steve and Shawn did a tremendous job on the wood and tile. Both of them helped give us a custom design look with the wood. Frank and his son installed the carpet and were very easy to work with. They stayed late to get the job done timely, and made it fit our tight schedule. I would highly recommend Abbey Carpet for any work that needs to be done.
They were supposed to come and do some new carpeting and linoleum in our house. I paid them $3000 up front. They came in and tore out the old flooring. In the bathroom they removed the toilet and disconnectecd it on a Friday, and then left it disconnected all weekend in a vacant house. They later told us that there was a slow leak, and they placed a bucket underneath the leak, rather than turning the water off at the source, or redirecting it to the drain. On Sunday morning, a real estate photographer came in, and found that the house had flooded due to this leak, as water was overflowing out of the bucket. I called the company back, and they claimed that the plumbing was the issue, and that the slow leak would have not have caused that amount of flooding. They refused to take responsiblity. No one had entered the house after them until the photographer came in, so this flood had to be caused by that leak.
Response from ABBEY CARPET & FLOORS
"We entered (Members name removed( house on Friday August 15th to install some vinyl in a bathroom. This same day a toilet was removed and the water line was turned off and stuck in a bucket. The water line dripped a few drops of water in the bucket which is normal and does not indicate a leak. We were in the house all day Friday and continued to be in the house Saturday, August 16th. During this time the toilet was still off and the water return line did not leak or fill the bucket further. Sunday we get a call from (Members name removed) in regards to a flood/leak in his house that he alleges was coming from the bucket the water line was in. One of our employees Manny explains to him that the water line had been in the bucket in our presence over the course of over a 24 hour period and there was no evidence of leaks. he stated to him that if there was a leak that occurred from that location it was due to a faulty valve as the hardware was older, and not a leak that we had caused. (Members name removed) then sent me photos and we sent out a representative to look at the situation. After evaluating the situation I reached out to (Members name removed) and explained to him that based on our findings it did not appear that we caused the flood to begin with and that one of the clauses of our contract states specifically that we are not plumbers or responsible for floods or leaks. i will forward all email correspondences between myself and (members name removed) as well for your records. I made several different suggestions to (members name removed) and never got a final response from him."

Our condo is in a highrise building. There are HOA rules and procedures to follow. Abbey's carpet and flooring navigated the whole precess well after a little initial kinks. The job was well done and was on time. I would highly recommend Abbey;s to any one.
Highly Recommended!!! We worked with Adam from Abbey Carpet, and it was a really good experience. Adam brought some samples to the condo when he came to measure it. We stated that it was turning into a rental and he brought appropriate samples for our budget. The whole process to include installation was hassle free and very easy. We also used the Angie's list coupon and saved a $100. Great business!!

I really like this place. Seems family run though I am not sure it is. The selection and prices were very good, and they helped me choose a great carpet that I'm very happy with. They are all quirky and funny people, which made the process kind of fun too. But the result was professional, done according to my schedule, and just what I wanted.
On our first visit to Abbey Carpets, Seth answered all our questions regarding the various flooring options as well as helping us choose the best possible choices. Next he personally came over to our house to measure flooring offering suggestions & changes ( as we were painting the house at the same time). Seth was great in able to accommodate our tight schedule to get the flooring complete. Finally on the pricing, he was upfront in all his charges itemized in detail. I would recommend Abbey's at Miramar to any one considering flooring/carpet and would definitely choose them if I had to redo all over.
We hired Abbey to install 4,300 square feet of tile and laminate. This was a brand new home in the Lakes, and we were replacing the standard carpet installed by the builder. The entire job was completed in less than two weeks, and we couldn?t be happier with the quality and price of Abbey?s work. Abbey?s tile crew exceeded the market standard for contractors. They work well together, do not require any supervision, were extremely responsive to special requests, and their work product is nothing short of immaculate. My father-in-law is an expert in tile installation, and after carefully examining each square inch of Abbey?s work, he thought this was a first-class job. The laminate was also installed quickly and with great attention to detail. Abbey's price also came in at less than half of the builder?s design center for same materials and work. Abbey did not charge extra for various services other flooring companies typically add on (e.g., quarter inch on baseboards, sealing grout and granite, etc.) I also wanted to recognize Abbey's ability to get exactly what we wanted. They can order ANYTHING?and usually receive a substantial discount based on the volume of business they do. At Abbey?s recommendation, I picked out some of my tile at Arizona Tile directly and came back to Abbey with the specific names/codes of the tile I selected. I also picked out a gorgeous carpet at a very high-end design center and Abbey was able to identify the ?mystery? manufacturer and model from the photos I emailed them and ordered that very carpet?at a much lower cost?within a few days. On the most difficult selection, which needed to work with a very busy and hard to match granite, Abbey's designer located an absolutely perfect tile match that received compliments from the builder's sales team. Overall, I was extremely pleased by the quality of Abbey's work, their attention to customer service, and their ability to beat competitors on price. I'd give them my highest recommendation.
I needed to replace flooring in a rental property I purchased and Seth and the other folks at Abbey were so easy to work with. I appreciate that they told me what they recommended... not because of what might get them the most money, but because they want me to be happy with the finished product. They let me take samples home and figure out what colors worked best. They gave me a great price and scheduled installation in a timely manner. Installation went very smooth with no problems at all.
I have already borrowed lots and lots of samples to replace flooring in my own home. The have been extremely patient and helpful. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but when I do, I will definitely use Abbey Carpet. I will not go anywhere else for any of my flooring needs.
Their prices were much more competitive than some of the bigger store names, and they were able to install the carpet for me quickly. Abbey's also helped guide me in my selection of rug and tiling, especially for the rentals. I was very appreciative that they guided me towards the carpets with the best warranties on fading, stains etc.
Seth and Justine and Abbey's are a pleasure to work with. They are professional and very friendly. Any issues that arose, we worked out easily without any hassles (thank goodness because I am all for reduced stress). Another thing that was helpful was that they let me take samples home to make sure it was right choice w/out any hassles.
Regarding their Installers: The tile installer was excellent, worked with us on all the details to make sure we got total input on how the grout/tile would be laid out. Similarly, the carpet installers (i've worked with several) are professional to the upmost.
Abbey's has done an EXCELLENT job for me over and over and most importantly everything looks gorgeous. Thank you so much to Seth, and Justine!!!

We hired Abbey to replace our awful carpet in
all our bedrooms. All in all we had 3 companies quote the work. What stood out
for my wife and I was how Abbey offered fair pricing, great reviews and most of all his
honest personality to want to please his clients. On installation day we were
not disappointed and Seth followed up after to make sure we were happy. Old
school service! Refreshing! Next time we will be calling Abbey. Thanks
Seth! Keep up the good work!
We contracted with Abbey about 2 months before our floor installation could be done because of ongoing work by other contractors. Nevertheless, when we finally needed the floor put in, Seth and his crew were at the house in 2 days. They did an excellent job, in one day, and they were a pleasure to work with. Seth, the owner, was friendly, efficient and a good man to rely on for flawless service. The price was the lowest bid we got yet the quality of work and materials was first-rate. In addition, Seth helped us with other aspects of our remodeling even though it didn't involve flooring or carpeting. All in all an excellent experience, and we would enthusiastically recommend Abbey Flooring to our friends. Thanks, Seth.

I am very happy that I chose Abbey?s Flooring for my hardwood floors. I was able to easily to schedule my appointment for an estimate over the phone but they recommended that I come into view their selection to get an idea of what type of flooring that I wanted. The staff was very friendly and pet friendly too. They assisted me in finding the right flooring in the store and took the sample over to my house for the consultation and estimate. My measurement was done by Seth, an owner of Abbey?s flooring. He was very personable and friendly. Seth took my measurements and said he would get back to me within a day with my estimate. As promised Seth was able to provide me an estimate via email on time as promised. He also followed up with a phone call to make sure I received his email and to give me his cell phone number if I had any questions or needed to get a hold of him. Seth took the time to evaluate my needs and work within my budget. I was very happy with the estimate and compared to a few other estimates, I got a great price.

I work close by and decided to go in person to pay my deposit and schedule the appointment at the same time. I told them I needed the flooring done ASAP so I can move into my new place. They immediately got on the phone and ordered my flooring while I was still in the store. The flooring came in within a few days and my appointment was scheduled the following day to start work! I was impressed how fast they moved. The flooring installation was to take 2-3 days. The installers came on time and were quick to start the work. On the last day of installation, I decided to change out the baseboards as well. I was hesitant to make this decision because I didn?t want to affect the flooring already installed or delay the work. However, after to speaking to Seth and the installer Pedro of my concerns they recommended that if I ever wanted to change the baseboard, it would be best to do it now instead of having to tear up the quarter round they were about to install. Seth and his employee Pedro measured for my baseboards the same day and were able to go to the warehouse to retrieve my baseboards to install the next day! I was very impressed with the quick turnaround. The installation for the remainder of the flooring and baseboards took a day and a half.

I had an overall great experience with Abbey?s Carpet and Flooring and felt like I had known them for a long time. They are genuinely good people. For example, I went in during the lunch period and they ordered pizza and drinks for all the employees and customers. The staff all knew my name and recognized me when I came into the store. I like the personal and friendly touch they put on customer service. I would definitely recommend Abbey?s flooring to anyone looking for any flooring needs, they offer more than just hardwood.

We were a little disappointed the baseboards in the bathrooms were not included in replacement but at least we were left with enough material to do this ourselves. We were very happy with the carpet and carpet installers but had a few problems with the finishing of the hardwoods and the installers. The workers did not leave our place very clean with glue spotted on the walls, uneaten burrito in our garage and gaps not caulked. After speaking with the sales associate we did have the lead installer out to our home the next day and all the problems fixed. We are happy with the end results.
Abbey provided samples from the factory as I had requested, and followed up to confirm receipt of same.
Upon my request, a no charge measurement & estimate was done.
I approved the estimate, and the installation took place 10 days later by installers who were neat, efficient,
and prompt. The whole experience was as seamless as the new floor !
Bookmark these guys in your Home Repair Folder !!
First, let me say this is not a fancy or even big carpet store like Coles or Carpeteria. In fact, you might have trouble spotting it from Miramar Rd and might be ready to turn around when you see how small it is inside. However, they do have a pretty good selection and knew exactly what to turn me toward when I said "rental condo." Jeremy was great to work with and called his warehouse to confirm he had enough material locally to install the job within 48 hours after coming out to perform the free measurement. However, I was checking a couple other places and found one that was $200 cheaper. When I went back, Jeremy initially said that he needed their quote in writing and that if he met their price he wouldn't be able to honor the Angie's List discount (he also whined about having to pay $400/mo to be in Angie's List and then having to offer a discount as well). While I liked his carpet slightly better, I was put off by backpedaling. However, once I indicated that I'd just take the cheaper deal at the other store, Jeremy offered to split the difference on the $200 by honoring the Angie's List coupon. Being short on time, I agreed even though it was $100 more and a bit annoying (and I had to pay by check since they didn't want to lose another $50 on credit card fees).
Other than this, Jeremy and his crew were very professional and a pleasure to work with. I paid a 1/3 deposit and Manny and his partner showed up Sunday morning at 9am to start the installation. He seemed very knowledgeable and customer-oriented. However, I realized as the day went on that he was a bit of a perfectionist. He insisted that I needed to mud out and do a different transition from the living room to the slate foyer. He did it at the cost of materials ($50), but it added over an hour to the job. In fact, they weren't finished until after 8pm. Since the tenants had broken a couple lamps, Manny didn't have quite enough light at the end and had to return the next day to finish up some seam trimming - but at no charge. The place looks great and the price was excellent, but it took a bit more time and effort than I expected to get what I wanted.
