Outstanding moving experience, and having been in the Navy for some years I can speak from experience having gone through multiple moves.  Mick and his helpers were professional, careful, and economical movers.  The quoted price was the flat price, even though we added on two additional large outdated TVs that he took for us.  We would highly recommend his company. <br />

The local move went very well, I have no complaints.  They showed up on time and got everything done.  On the day of my move, their big truck was in the shop.  They showed up in a smaller U-Haul truck but everything did not fit.  When it was apparent that not everything was going to fit Mick showed up with another truck within an hour.  All in all I am very happy with the services performed and would not hesitate recommending them to you. <br />

Mick and his crew were waiting for me at the storage unit, 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment, which was great following the holiday.  They were quick loading the truck and unloading it at my place.  They were careful with the items and very clean, as I had just had some new carpeting put in the home and repainted some rooms.  I would use ABC Moving again and they were very competitively priced.

Everything was wonderful and a group of guys that came had great communication and were accommodating.

<p>It was great, these guys were very careful of our furniture, and the walls at both places. I offered water or coffee, but they just kept plugging away without a break. If you need movers this is the outfit to use!  My cost was based on 3 men for 4 hours, but after an hour Mick showed up had another mover, and both jumped in.to help.</p> <br />

I joined Angie's List because I wanted to find quality companies to help me with my local move.  ABC Moving came highly reviewed so I chose them.  I must say the experience exceeded my expectations.  Though they were a half hour late, I don't dock them for that.  The three-person crew were very friendly and professional.  They were fast and took better care of my goods than I guess I was expecting.  They covered furniture and even partly partly broke down my treadmill to get it through the doors (and put back together at the new place).  <br /> I'm a military brat so I know moving.  I would use them again and would highly recommend them.  Great group of guys! <br />

Eric and his crew were perfectionists and went the extra mile to make a difficult pool table perfectly level. They knew what they were doing and they did a great job. I would recommend them to anybody, 100%. <br />

Arrived on time. Had additional guys come to our home to assist with the job. Most impressed with the care and expertise in moving our antique dining room furniture. They were a nice group of men who worked efficiently as a team on a hot summer day. <br />

They were on time, worked for three hours straight without a break. I can't say enough about the crew George, Jose and Another gentleman were professional, fast and managed to get everything in the pod, AMAZING! <br />

Managed to schedule move in very short period of time (1 week). His crew was extremely careful with belongings. Hard workers who got the job done. I would hire again.

Went really well. Every single member of their team was very friendly and courteous.  <br /> We faced a few adversities (mostly weather - torrential rain midway through the move) and they never let anything get them down. <br /> We filled his truck (which is very big) to the brim and did it all in the quoted time (8hrs). They moved tons of boxes through many flights of stairs along w/ furniture that also went all through the house. The disassembled and reassembled everything perfectly. They removed doors to ease the move and put everything back the way it was. they moved our Large gas grill to a 2nd floor deck and carried our large Precor Elliptical (large commercial gym style machine) around the yard and into our walk in basement. <br /> Mick is a straight shooter and I appreciate that. If he gets something wrong he admits it and fixes it. That is very refreshing when hiring any type of contractor. His straight fwd no nonsense attitude might intimidate some people but trust me stick with him because he will get everything done that he says he'll do. <br /> Even when we got held up by weather or whatever I always knew they were going to get the job done no matter what. <br /> Also his workers (there were 3) were extremely nice and hard working. <br /> I didn't put a price on my review bc every move is different so I don't think it would be fair to price his company out. But I will say is that it was a very fair price (not a budget buster). <br /> <br />

<p>The three person crew showed up on time and was extremely good about taking care of moving the items and not causing any damage to either property. I would definitely recommend their services and look to using them again in the future for my moving needs.</p> <br />

These guys work fast and well! I had to move most of the furniture from a small house (most of it was built during the 1860s; the slim addition was built in the 1980s or so) to a 1-bedroom apartment. The 2 workers, George and Jose, showed up a few minutes after 9:00am and started working immediately. They asked for the lowdown on what needed to be moved in each of the different rooms, they understood, and got to it. They started upstairs in the second bedroom, where only a small panel bed and a bookcase needed to be moved. After taking apart the panel bed and getting that and the bookcase downstairs. Then they moved to the master bedroom, where two heavy bureaus (one with a mirror) had to be moved, and this is where some problems reared their ugly heads - because of the small circular staircase. <br /> The mirrored bureau went down the circular stairs slowly, as George and Jose had to watch the curved walls. Got it through. But after dealing with those stairs, George decided there was no way the other bureau (heavy and taller) would ever get down that way. He asked me about the wooden deck off the upstairs door. After numerous years of water & snow, the darned thing had tilted - and I thought for sure if either of them stepped onto the deck, the whole thing would collapse. I really didn't want them to go that route (it scared the heck out of me), but George insisted there was no other way. He stepped onto the deck, and the deck held up, thankfully. The bureau was soon outside in the backyard, with no injuries and the bureau intact. <br /> The rest of the furniture went without any hitches, altho the kitchen table had to be disassembled, something I hadn't realized was even possible. But it all went out the door and onto the truck in about two hours. I locked up, headed off to the apartment (which wasn't that far away), and they showed up about 10 or 15 minutes after I got there. After locking the cat in the bathroom, George and Jose and Mick went about their business, with George and Jose asking me where stuff was to go. Very nice. <br /> In fact, everything went so well I couldn't believe they were done around 2:00ish. As I said, very fast, but everything was measured and thought out, and they didn't just assume where things were supposed to go. <br /> I would recommend Mick and his truck without a moment's hesitation. They were professional but friendly from the get-go, and they put me at ease right away. Altho mine was a smaller job, I believe these guys can do any job, big or small, get it down pretty quickly and do it a thoroughly professional manner. And they're all very friendly, too. :-) <br /> Trust these guys - they get the job done for a very decent price! <br />

I contacted Mick based upon the reviews on Angie's List to get an estimate prior to having a moving date.  Mick came out and at that time I was not sure of everything that I was going to move but he gave me a range of $1,400 to $1,800.  When I had a date he came back and I had a better idea of what I was keeping and the final estimate came in at $1,550.  He then returned 2 more times to deliver boxes and wardrobes for my move.  Mick was always responsive whether I contacted him by phone or text messaging.  When the day for the move came Mick was there to pack the truck while 2 other very competent, respectful and pleasant men carried my belongings out.  I wanted Mick to pack several items for me including 2 flat screen TV's and monitors as well as lamps and pictures.  This was done with care and all items reached my destination safely.  I was concerned about the ride up here, but my concerns were quickly abated when I saw how George was following me.  He always stayed a safe distance behind me (I hate tail gating) and we were able to coordinate lane changes, etc.  That may not be a big deal to everyone, but it was important to me.  When everything was unloaded safely I found that a large butcher block kitchen cart would not fit in my new home.  My son is now in the home where I was living and he could use it, so I asked George if they could take it back down to Pennsylvania with them.  Fortunately Mick lives only a few blocks from me so they were returning the truck there anyway so it wasn't out of their way.  They happily agreed to do this and they delivered it around 9:30 that evening, that with a start of about 7:30 am made for a very long way.  I highly recommend ABC Moving Service.  If I ever move back to Pennsylvania I would use their services again. <br />

About a year ago, Mick and his crew moved our all our belongings from New Jersey to a new home in Pennsylvania.  The move went off without a hitch and we were very pleased with all aspects of the service.  This year, our small job received the same care and attention as the big job last year. Phone calls were returned, they showed up on schedule and the items were quicklycarefully and efficiently removed at a reasonable price.  I was interested to see that ABC Moving had received a couple of negative reviews. Since we had received such good service I wondered what might have gone wrong. In reading some of those reviews is seems some unrealistic customer expectations  led to what might be termed irrational frustration.  All I can say is that our experience with ABC has been overwhelmingly positive as have the experiences of the overwhelming majority of other customers. <br />

Our move could not have gone better.  Mick (ABC's owner) was very helpful before our move coming over to our house to give us a quote.   Scheduling was easy, I left a message, and promptly an hour or two later received a call back to schedule.  I did end up having to change the date of our move (for our own reasons) and re-scheduling was just as easy.   Two days before the move I called to confirm, and Mick was professional and confirmed our start time for the morning of the moving day.   The morning of the move, the truck was delayed by 30 minutes, but we received a phone call to keep us informed.   Two men showed up prior to the truck and started to move our furniture upstairs to the downstairs and outside so it was all ready to be loaded once the truck arrived.   Once the truck was there, the three men loaded the truck with all our belongings quickly and efficiently.  They were very courteous and careful with our belongings.  All of our furniture was packed with furniture pads.   We had two beds-a bunk bed and a platform bed that needed to be disassembled, and a table as well.  These we all taken care of by ABC, and it nice to know we didn't have to worry about it.  When cleaning out my kids rooms there were toys and such that had gotten caught behind the dressers.  They gathered these up and handed them to me to so I was able to pack them up.  (Side Note:  When moving make sure you have a few extra boxes empty to load any last minute items that you may find when packing the truck.  We had not done this in a previous move, and we were sure to remember it this time...lol) <br /> Upon loading everything into the truck the men then did a complete walk through of the house, checking everywhere to make sure nothing was left behind.  They opened every closet, cabinet, washer, dryer, and drawer. <br /> When the truck arrived at the new house the men unloaded everything in a timely manner.  All of our furniture that was disassembled was reassembled in the room we wanted it, and placed exactly where we wanted it.  Once the larger furniture was placed into the house where I wanted it, then all the boxes started to come in (lots, of boxes...lol)   I was very anal, I suppose you could say, when packing to make sure that each box was labeled on 5 sides with what is was, and what room it was to go into.   The men asked us which room was which and before we knew it all the boxes were placed into the correct rooms ready to be unpacked.  There were times I felt like an air traffic controller, directing everyone where to go, where to put something, or tell someone where something belonged, but that was fine by me because then everything got to it correct spot, and it made the day run that much smoother.  Every time before the men entered the house they wiped their feet.  It didn't matter if they had a small box in their hands or a heavy piece of furniture.  They were also very careful of our freshly painted walls at the new house, which we were very thankful for. <br /> This was the first time we have ever used a moving company, and I would never move without one again.  We had moved four previous times in the past 8 years.  Every time without a company was a nightmare.   We had friends and family help out, and even though we had more people then the 3 men ABC came with we never finished in a day, it usually took   two, things never ran this smooth with no problems.  And best of all no bickering with the in-laws, which was totally worth it.  ABC was an excellent choice and I am so happy we chose to move with them.   When we got our estimate we were told it would take 1/2 a day to move us, and by 3pm, the moving truck was gone and we were ready to tackle unpacking our mounds of boxes. <br /> We would definitely recommend Mick and ABC moving to anyone who has a move, big or small, and we have.  Friends have also used ABC and had a similar experience.    A great group of guys.  Professional, courteous, careful, understanding, and trustworthy. <br />
