Very professional and great price completed job on time thank you abco solar

Work was well done although our roofing company initially requested adjustments to the attachment points to maintain the warranty on the new roof. The system certainly generates plenty of power, the status of which we can monitor via a web site.

UPDATE on first review: SINCE INSTALL I HAVE EXPERIENCED NUMEROUS ISSUES, MOSTLY THE SYSTEM GOING INTO FAULT. THEY EVENTUALLY, AFTER MONTHS, REPLACED THE INVERTER AND SINCE THE REPLACEMENT I HAVE EXPERIENCED FAULTS. THE MOST RECENT IS LAST NIGHT. I PAID FOR MONITORING, YET THE RESPONSE TO THE FAULTS BY ABCO IS VERY SLOW. FAULT MEANS THAT THE ALL IMPORTANT INVERTER IS NOT WORKING AND NO POWER IS PRODUCED. ABCODOLAR IS WORKING ON THE COMMUNICATION SO I CAN MONITOR - IT DID WORK, BUT AFTER TEH INVERTER WAS REPLACED, I HAVE HAD NO MONITORING CAPABILITY - I PAID OVER $500 FOR THIS CAPABILITY. THEY ATTEMPTED TO FIX THIS ON FRIDAY, BUT THE FIX IS STILL UP IN THE AIR AND THE SYSTEM WENT INTO FAULT FRIDAY EVENING - I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ANYONE AT ABCOSOLAR ABOUT THE FAULT. I CAN TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE WHO CANNOT SEEM TO PROVIDE ME WITH A RELIABLE SOLAR PANEL SYSTEM, My original review follows this review update. For a few days the system was not generating PV electric power. I called to complain, apparently they were not monitoring, and the production manager made a visit to determine what was wrong. He found that the system had not been turned on correctly to allow the optimizers to synch. After his work the system began to synch and was generating power. I determined that, to insure that I and they could monitor the system in the future, since I felt that this is something that I might need to do - TRUST BUT VERIFY - I modified the contract to include internet monitoring. Well, immediately after it was installed, I found that the system was only registering 28 panels and not the 29 I purchased. Almost simultaneously with my discovery and my searching for their phone number, I received a call from the production manager, now using my purchased monitoring, who told me that only 28 panels were registering. Apparently one had not been plugged in. He promised to send a team out the next day, today, to fix the problem. HE DID JUST THAT. The system now appears to be functioning well. The contract negotiations were handled well by ABCO. The planning for the system by ABCO Solar seems to have been right on. The recommendations appear to have been right on. The equipment sold to me appears to be quality. To sum up my experience, the company needs to attend to quality control and ownership of issues much better, but overall this can be fixed, and I am being told that they are fixing this, and I am now satisfied with the work. I might even use them again. Description of work: Contracted to install 29 Upsolar UP-M315P solar panels, Racking, Solar Edge Power Optimizers (P300) and matching inverter, and the balance of system components. Price $27,405. The service was wonderful. They did everything they said they were going to do. Of course we have not noticed any changes in the bill yet because it has just been now that it happened, but there was absolutely no problem with them at all. It was a contract. Their services were kind of included with the installation. They were friendly and knowledgeable. Obviously, they are good salesmen. I think that using them over most of the other companies is that you own the panels after you are done paying with them. It is not a lease which is the case in most other solar panel companies. I just think that that was a better way to go. Most of the stuff they did was outside. We did not have to be here. We would use them again in the future if we ever needed more solar panels.
