Three ladies came in the afternoon to clean, after they finished they explained to me that I had 24 hours to let them know if there was anything missed. I noticed within the 24 hour time frame that there were several areas that were missed. I did call within the 24 hours and I didn't get a return phone call. I do think they underestimated the amount of work that was needed done for the price, I still should have gotten a return call within the 24 hours.

"Good Evening, We would like to respond to the post you placed about our company. First, let us address the matter of the statement that three ladies came to your home to clean. We do not have employees that are female in our company other than one of the owners. The people who came to clean your home were both owners (one male and one female) and the son of the owners. According to our records, you were set for a 10 a.m. appointment which we have records to prove that was the time of our arrival. Secondly, we have phone records to prove as well that our company never received a phone call addressing any matters of the dissatisfaction of the services provided, As a matter of fact, there was a walk-thru of the home upon completion in which our company was told that everything was above satisfaction. Lastly, our company is concerned that there was a period of an entire year before you (the client) decided to even address an issue with our company especially on a form of social media. We always return customer call especially when a service has been provided and there is a concern regarding those services. We apologize that you now seem to be dissatisfied but the information that you provided on this site is incorrect and defaming to our company."

The last time they cleaned we had to have them come back to redo things. They also did not do what I asked.

"Good Evening, You mentioned in your comment against our company that you had to have our company come back to redo some items. What you failed to mention was that the items we came back to redo were additional items requested and we did not collect payment for the additional items. We also performed additional tasks that were a redo of what our company did the time before because your daughter-in-law had some issues. You personally (Member Name Removed) stated that you were overly pleased with our services but your daughter-in-law was the person with issues. You also stated that she was not paying for the services so you were not sure why she was complaining of any issues. We discontinued services due to the issue of not knowing who we should be working for/pleasing with the work. You were notified well before our next appointment that we were discontinuing services. We do not have contracts with our clientele for the specific reason of either the clientele or the company being able to terminate services at any time."

"Our company was really unsure as to how we should respond to this review left. During the time we have been cleaning for your family, there has never once been a complaint towards our cleaning. We have never received a note, telephone call, etc. regarding our performance of cleaning the home. We have always been told that your family was satisfied with our services and always seemed to be happy with the work that we provided. This is the first time in the 6 years our company has been open that we have ever received such a low grade on our performance of cleaning. We are a little unsure as to how we received such a low grade on performance from your family without ever receiving any notification and also providing services for several months now. In addition to the grade and what seems to be the dissatisfaction with our cleaning per the grade given, you would still hire us back....."

Our house was neglected due to work and health issues and needed a thorough cleaning to get it in hand. I contacted two highly rated housecleaning providers through Angie's list and asked for them to call. Abel's promptly called and came out for a walk through and estimate. ( Never heard from other.) Received the detailed estimate that evening by email. Worked with us on the pricing and cleaning was scheduled. Arrived promptly and carried out as planned: windows the first day then deep clean the next two. Left detailed messages at the end of each day to let us know progress. Sent email the last day to let us know they had finished and to inform us of a couple of issues they found when cleaning. I was out of town when they did the work, as prearranged, since I have dust allergies. However, my husband was very impressed and pleased with all of their work as I was upon our return. We are now arranging to have them continue on a regular basis. I want to emphasize that we have NO issues with this company, and we are very particular. Above all, their professionalism - which to me translates 'integrity' - makes it for us. This is a family that works together and treats you like family...in all the best ways. If you need this type of work done, you need look no further. Kudos Abel's Cleaning. <br />

I contacted Abel's to do a monthly clean for a 4 bedroom, 2400 sqft house. It took awhile to work out the details, as the original price quoted was too steep for what I needed. After doing some research, it was apparent that this seems to be the going rate for cleaning, but since I was not able to swing it (price quoted was ~$500 for the initial clean and then $135 afterwards). I was able to work out an arrangement that was mutually acceptable to both parties. Scheduled the cleaning. <br /> Abels did a fantastic job. I was not there, but my mother was there to "supervise" <grin>. We have three cats and the associated kitty fur and dander on most of our cleanable (and not so cleanable) surfaces. They did a great job of handling that extra mess. <br /> When I got home from work the house was pretty spotless. <br /> I would recommend them again. Great people to work with. <br />

When I contacted them they agreed to come and look at my house that week and got an estimate to me when they promised. They are very friendly people to work with an do a great job cleaning. They are always punctual and if there is a reason they cannot make an appointment they contact me right away to reschedule. I am happy with the work they have done and will continue to use their services. <br />

This is truly a family business but rigidly controlled by the matriarch, Kristen Abel. She is a working manager that ensures perfection in al of the many cleaning tasks associated with tile, carpet, and wood floors; full baths, bedroom, and a cluttered office. We have never had any cleaning company do a better job in such a professional manner. There is always the possibility of an accident, but this company is fully bonded and shows personal responsibility in all they do. You cannot do better! <br />
