A Better Cheaper Locksmith

I am a single proprietor whom does most all work. I have no employees, and if I rarely get too busy to do all appointments, I refer them to another local locksmith company that I trust. I do not use sub-contractors. I am Licensed by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Service License Number LCO 3497. I always quote a price up front when receiving a call from a potential customer. There may be times that I can only give a rough estimate if it is a repair job, but most all of the time I give a flat rate price for a complete job rather than try to confuse the customer with service call, per lock and per key charges. Typically my standard flat rate for up to 3 locks re-keyed would be the flat rate of $45.00, with no hidden charges. Angie's List customers always get the 2 free keys instead of just one key in the aforementioned price. A little about my background: After working as a Department of Defense Contractor in the Asia Pacific, I came home and worked for a friend of mine as the Manager of a local locksmith shop. After learning the business for a few years, I went into partnership with him on another locksmith location. A year afterwards, I bought his interest in the business and am now the sole proprietor. We are still very good friends, and we continually give each other referrals whenever we are too busy to get all of the work finished. I feel very lucky in my life. I have traveled across the globe, had a few great career positions, and I still have my health! My hobbies include photography, hiking and camping, dog training, bicycling and woodworking. I am single and have no children.
