They did an excellent work and a quality job in removing the tree, as its location was precarious, but they did the job perfectly. Excellent clean up!

Made a visit to quote job and was able to schedule the following week. Did the job while wife and I were at work. The work was performed as requested. Great job, and would hire again.

Milton and his crew did an excellent job taking down our spruce tree, chopping and grinding it up. Using safety ropes and saws they climbed our trees and made them look a lot better. We recently got a new fence near the locust tree and then decided we needed to have the locust tree trimmed. Milton and his crew carefully removed the problem limbs and cleaned up our yard and the neighbors' yards. Before the men left, Milton chopped up the stump on the spruce tree and the men cleaned up all the debris that fell in the yard. They cleaned up all the tree debris in the street in front of the house before they left. They did an excellent job cleaning up the tree debris and left and yard and street in great shape. They cut the trees neatly with no striped bark or any damage.

Getting an estimate and scheduling with A Better Tree was more of a fluid process than I'm accustomed to. There was some rescheduling and talk of shooting for certain weeks with a call a day or two ahead of time. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just something everyone should be aware of, as some might not be comfortable or able to accommodate this type of arrangement. <br> <br> The estimate with Dale went well and I appreciated his honest and straightforward approach to doing business. We discussed which items needed to be addressed, those that could wait but would need to be taken care of in the coming years, and those, which could be left alone. After agreeing on which items I would like to be considered, he wrote up an estimate. It wasn't the lowest I received but it was far from the highest. I ultimately went with A Better Tree based on price, comfort of doing business with Dale during the estimate, and his method of climbing trees rather than brining in a truck with bucket. <br> <br> As I mentioned, scheduling of the work was more fluid than some people might be accustomed to. Thankfully I had enough flexibility to consider their approach, but I'm sure there are others who need something more ridged and concrete. Dale and his crew arrived in the morning and promptly got to work. They worked quickly and efficiently with Dale climbing, roping, and cutting, and the others lowering and removing debris. <br> <br> I was very pleased with the quality of their work and the value I received. Furthermore, I had multiple neighbors inquire about A Better Tree after seeing the results and learning the cost for services was much more reasonable than they expected or, in some cases, had paid a different company in the past. <br> <br> Although I have since moved, I have recommended them to several friends and would have no hesitation using A Better Tree again, if I returned to central Indiana. <br>

I requested a quote to remove a pine tree and large overgrown wild tree/bush on a Monday and Dale was out the next day to provide a quote.  I got 4 quotes total and his was $45 less than others and since he has great reviews here on AL, I chose A Better Tree & Landscape.  When I called to schedule I was told Dale would call me within a few days to let me know when I could get on the schedule.  Sure enough, he did call and I got scheduled for the following Tuesday.  It was very rainy on Tuesday and he called to let me know because of the rain it would be Wednesday.  I completely understood and appreciated the phone call.  They came on Wed and while he was here I asked for a quote to remove several wild trees that were growing in our existing wood fence.  Since we are replacing our fence this month, I would need him to come back and take those trees down and grind the stumps.  He surprised me by saying he could do it while he was there since that fence was coming down anyway he could get the trees out and get to the stumps.  He gave me a very reasonable price for the additional work and I agreed.  Both guys worked very hard until the job was done.  I walked the property with Dale afterward and everything looked great.  They hauled away everything they cut down and filled in and raked where the holes were from stump grinding.  Other than our lack of trees, you would never even know they were here it was cleaned up so well.  I will be using them again for future needs and would highly recommend. <br />

I called to get an estimate on the work, and they came the same day. We agreed on the price which, considering the amount of work and the difficulty of cutting and clearing away maiden grass, I thought was very fair. The job fit in their schedule that day. They  completed the work in less than three hours. I have had this company remove trees for me in the past . They have always done a great job. I have recommended them to friends. <br />

Removed trees and did appropriate clean up which included the neighbors yard.  Did a good job w/the clean up.  Was very satisfied and would use them again. <br />

<p>I used the services of this company two years ago and was very pleased with their work.  They continue to do excellent work, are efficient and did a thorough clean-up after the trees were removed.  They will continue to be the first tree company I call whenever I need tree removal, trimming, etc.  Dale was outstanding as usual and provides great leadership for the whole crew.  Highly recommended.</p> <br />

He made a mistake and cut down the wrong hickory tree, but that didn't bother me much, since it interfered with the power lines. He said if I'd pay $300 extra he'd take care of the other tree, the dead hickory. I agreed. He ground most stumps, but he left the main one unfinished, from a silver maple. He left behind a rake, so I thought he was coming back. The weather got bad, but after 2 weeks I called and didn't hear back. I left a message but got no reply. I have called again and left a message, but still no reply. I still haven't gotten to pay them the last $300 yet.

Dale and his company arrived on time and worked extremely hard in very cold winter weather. They cut down six trees and removed the stumps. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. I was very impressed with service they preformed and would definitely use them again. <br />

Provided estimate very quickly. There was a bit of a delay in performance of work due to weather and heavy schedule but not an emergency so not a problem. When they did the work, they were very professional and efficient. My yard was much cleaner when they left than before. The tree they trimmed looks great and they did good job grinding stumps of the other two trees and leveling off the ground surface. I would definitely hire them again. <br />
