After using this company to replace my rooftop heating/AC unit last year, I started recently having issues with my thermostat not working correctly. Since they had provided good service the last time I immediately thought of contacting them first. I called on Wednesday, and Randy was able to schedule a tech to come out this Saturday, and gave me only a 2 hour window. The tech (John) showed up within the scheduled time and was able to replace my thermostat in an expedient manner. He was very polite and professional. I will definitely continue to use this company in the future, and highly recommend them. <br />

I had issues with my heating/AC unit making banging noises when the heat kicked in. The unit was  over 30 years old and I feared it needed to be replaced. I contacted Ability (John) and we set up an appointment for a technician to come out. Sadly my fears were correct and the tech advised me that the banging noises were actually due to small explosions in my heater...kind of scary.. <br /> He gave me an estimate and I told him I didn't have the money at the time and would have to think about what to do. The tech advised me that since it was almost spring, the rates for heating units might go down in the near future, and stated he would call me if any specials came up. <br /> True to their word, they did call me several times and we did end up coming to an agreement. <br /> The techs came to my house at the agreed upon time, and were very polite, and proficient. <br /> I am very happy with the service I received, and would definitely use this company again. <br /> In addition, they have followed up by sending me letters with offers of specials on the services they provide. <br /> I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs HVAC service. <br />

John did an excellent job. He arrived on time, explained what he was doing, and answered any of my questions. <br /> I would use this company again.  His rates were reasonable. <br />

I always have had excellent service and no exception this time.  John typically calls before he arrives to let me know if he is on schedule and the work is done promptly and efficiently.  If there are shortcomings or issues with the system, he has in the past made recommendations for improving the system and saving on utilities, but never pushy about it.  He is good about cleaning up after any work and is professional in his manner and speech.  <br /> <br /> I have used his services for several years with no complaints.  In prior years, I used one of the larger firms, but while their work was acceptable, I still get junk mail from them.  No such complaints with Ability AC. 

Excellent service from the time we scheduled the appointment to the time they left. He worked quickly and efficiently. Ability Air always has honest, courteous and efficient customer service. Highly recommended!

The temperature was reaching 86 degrees F every afternoon with the air conditioner blowing full blast.  After getting up sun screens,  I called an air conditioning repair person on Angie's list rather than the original service people.  I was concerned about the paper trail from the previous owner - it looked excessive.  I was careful to pick someone from the immediate area and got John out the same day.  The only complication was the warranty on the unit took some negotiating (by John) to get the repair agreed to and covered.  I am very satisfied with ABILITY AIR CONDITIONING INC and how they performed.

Overall it was excellent.  They’re great.  They are good with communication and they are reasonably priced.  They have great technical skills.  I intend to use them again to clean all the ducts and inspect all the HVAC system, and tune up the heating and air conditioning unit in the house.  They are excellent.  I will use their services again in the future.

AFTER A THOROUGH CHECK HE FOUND THAT A REPAIR WOULD BE TOO COSTLY SO HE GAVE ME ALTERNATIVES--HE IS A VERY HONEST MAN AND I WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO FRIENDS AND RELATIVES.

Always reliable. my father was in the same business so I can recognize competence and good service.

Got a quote on Monday and ducts were cleaned on Tuesday. Two workers made the job go fast; it took about 2 hours.

John came out and first replaced my fuse. That did not fix the problem, as the motor had totally locked up. He then gave me a price for replacing the motor or the whole A/C unit. I decided to replace the whole unit, since it was 18 years old. Since, it was late in the day, he said he would be back out in the morning to replace the unit. Before leaving he disconnected the old unit, and set up for the recycler to come out and get the unit. He came out the next morning and replaced the unit. By the time the new unit was installed, the old unit had been picked up.

He arrived on time and did a great job,everything is working perfect.
