Excellent! Axel and his crew did a phenomenal job. They were professional, responsive and punctual! I would highly recommend them.

I hired Tyson Reed/Able Hands to build an approximate 150' foot pergola and flagstone patio beneath it, primarily to provide a space for a hot tub.  I hired him solely on the recommendation of a close friend.  He provided an estimate, and I agreed to it. Overall, the quality of the pergola is adequate, although it came in well over the estimate (15% or so).  The flagstone patio also came in over estimate and was not built to the standard we agreed to.  In addition, since completion, the flagstone sealant is peeling off daily, in spades, endlessly, leaching into the soil of my small yard and most likely my pets.  I asked Mr. Reed to address these issues and he has been unresponsive to my requests.  During the period he and his crew were here he held a minimum standard of professionalism.  I never knew when they would show up, what days, or for how long.  When I asked for more clarity around hours, he agreed, but then changed his mind, daily.  This project went on for 5 weeks, and I work from home, so the impact was significant.  He communicated poorly throughout, and if I wanted any information about what to expect, with regard to the project, its costs, or impact on my life, I had to be proactive. He never acted as though my needs as his customer mattered. I regret I hired him, but again, did so based on a friend's recommendation.  On the level of communication, it's been the worst experience I've had with any contractor over 24 years of home ownership, and I wouldn't recommend Tyson or Able Hands to anyone.
