The installation was very efficient.  They arrived on time and responded to my needs enthusiastically and provided me with insight into best securing the storm door from intrusion by providing layers of reinforced locking mechanisms . <br /> They are very good at what they do and my family rest a bit easier knowing that we have this team as a resource for all our go to company for all our locksmith needs  <br /> <br />

My initial review was rather scathing but Alex was kind enough to call to discuss it with me where he made me realize where I was wrong.  I had forgotten that my husband had added extra work on that day!  Alex & I agreed that I should have been quoted a price before that extra work had been done (and I should have asked).  But when looking at it in that light, I was wrong & have updated my review.  Yes I would use him again, and yes I would recommend him to others!

The technician was on time, and knowledgeable. He replaced the cylinders all to the same key for the three doors. He also took his time to explain some things regarding locks and security and showed us how to change the garage door codes for the electric openers. He also made up the required number of keys. <br /> Overall very satisfied. It's been almost a year so I don't remember what I paid for the service without looking it up, although I don't think it was out of line. I would use their service again in the future. <br />

I was having a yard sale today. Had been working on gathering items for weeks and had placed a lot of items in my garage. The morning of the sale I went to the garage to start setting up and could not get in - my key was just turning in the lock. I had been given a gift subscription to Angie's list and thought I would give it a try. Able Locksmiths were a pleasure to work with, a repairman was at my house within the hour I called, was able to get into my garage, replaced the lock body and tightened the handle. Very professional. <br />

My old locks and peephole had tarnished badly.  One door no longer had the same key.  I went to the Able Locksmith shop where I selected new EMTEK locks.  Alex pointed out that these are very sturdy locks and the brass finish is guaranteed for life.  The shop ordered the style I selected, keyed them all the same and made 10 spare keys.  The deadbolts are keyed both inside and out. <br /> The installation was very professional.  I decided to add an external combination key safe outside the house as these new locks are even easier to lock myself out than the old ones. <br /> The new locks look and work great.  Good job guys! <br />

I had hired them to change my deadbolt locks. They came out and it turns out that I used to be their insurance agent 30 years ago. They installed the locks and did a good job. I did end up having a slight problem with one door and I called them to come back. They fixed the issue and didn't charge me for the second visit. I am very happy with their services. We have admired the locks so much that we haven't wanted to leave the house!

We just moved into our new house about a week prior. I called Able and they gave me an estimate right over the phone. They came as scheduled the next day to change the locks on the front door, side door and interior garage door. They were also able to install a new charley bar on our sliding glass door. Very professional and very fast. You could tell they really knew what they were doing. I would definitely use them again. <br />

Our front door lock has had issues since it was first installed 8 years ago when we renovated our home.  A month ago, my husband came home from work and the key would not turn the lock.  We lived with it by going in and out through the garage but decided it was time to get it fixed.  <br /> It was a holiday and since we were home, decided to make the call to have it repaired.  By our surprise, someone was available to come out within hours of our call making it very convenient. <br /> The service man arrived on time, assessed what the problem was, and fixed it.  It's been fine ever since.  No parts were required, just and oiling and adjustment/alignment.  The cost seemed a bit pricey to me but we were told about the fees prior to his arrival so there were no surprises and he was able to fix it.  No regrets and I would recommend them to anyone and use them again if the need arrises. <br />

They provided an estimate and then did the work on the spot. He was very, very professional. He said he would send the statement and I got it immediately when I checked my email. He left me the paperwork of the warranty. He explained everything. He allowed me to test the locks after he finished with them. He labeled both sets of keys for me. The locks are under a one year warranty so if anything goes wrong they will come back and fix it for free. They were very good.
