I’ve been in the restoration business since 1989 when I was 17yrs of age, travelled all over the United States handling the biggest of projects to cleaning carpets in my own neighborhood. Above All was called out by the HOA for carpet mitigation due to flooding in June. That all went smoothly the night they came out to put fans down to air out the carpet. It went downhill from there, I was working through a quote to lay back the carpet, replace the pad they tore out and put back the baseboard around the window the water came in, It took several calls to get the quote over the summer. Finally, I got a quote when I copied the owner in late October. When I wanted to get clarity on the quote, it took a couple weeks of prodding. I never got a final quote, as I wanted to make some adjustments, even with the owner copied. I was told by one person at Above All, they could complete work in a week and by another it would take into the New Year contradicting each other. It was clear they didn't want to work with me and after finding another company to do the work, the company I contracted was half the cost, responsive and did a great job. I finally told Above All with the owner copied, that I shouldn't have to beg for a quote. I'm the customer! I've made sure to let people know that they should seek another company as they just don't care. Not impressed!

In our defense and looking at past email conversations it looks as if more than one estimate for the repairs was given to you, I see in the emails that you asked to have these estimates revised several times, to fit your needs, and I see where they were changed. I see where Justin and Heather had always communicated back to you in a timely matter and always explained where things were (have emails showing this). We understood that you were getting other bids which was obviously fine, and when you were finally ready to have services performed, our schedule had filled up with new emergency work, but we were willing and tried to schedule with you. Again I apologize but that is the core of our business, and when new projects come in that need emergency clean up all resources are applied. Like yours in the beginning. I was on vacation when you emailed me and in class when I received your second email, we did talk on the phone, I do remember that, so it wasn’t as if I completely ignored you. Above All Restoration, over the past 11 years has succeeded strictly off of referral work, I strongly believe after being in this industry for over 23 years we still deliver the best workmanship and customer service in the Denver market. We do the best we can at servicing everyone with up most respect, customer service, and again workmanship, I believe past comments prove this. I do know you were very pleased and satisfied with our initial emergency services, but again I do sincerely apologize for actions thereafter. Representative came to our house exactly on time, make a careful inspection, and advised us that for the damages involved it would likely not be cost-effective to do a repair. I asked for a firm bid, and he took the time and effort to come up with detailed drawings and a detailed estimate even though he knew I was unlikely to take the bid.I found him to be very professional, non-pressured, and I was impressed by his honesty in not pushing me to do something that was likely unnecessary. Always good to find an honest service person.I would recommend using them and will plan to do so if the need arises again. <br />

In the beginning it went well but towards the end not so much. They don't have regular employees; they contract out. I like to have somebody in the crew that speaks English. The insurance paid for everything but they didn't give me numbers upfront. I was told that whatever the insurance company says that's what they will charge...that bothers me.

They were pretty good. I would recommend them. They were very punctual and they got here on time. They did a really good job. They told me how much it would cost and it was exactly that so it was good. The price was very reasonable. They did a great job of what I asked them to do. Sometimes when I hire carpet cleaners, they do a halfhearted job but these guys did a really good job. I was happy with them. They were good on pricing. I was very satisfied with them.

Above All Cleaning & Restoration was the ideal contractor to use for water damage to our home. They are experts in working with your insurance company and even use the same software that the insurers use, to make for a smooth process in determining cost of repairs. Richard, the main contractor who bids the project, was extremely professional and easy to work with. He was knowledgeable and honest about what insurance would and would not cover and helped to get things covered that insurance wasn't going to pay for. Justin and Heather were our day-to-day project managers. They were extremely responsive to our phone calls and emails. We had a very tight window at the end of repairs where they needed to schedule final items to be taken care of quickly. They went out of their way to make sure everything was completed before we moved back into our home. In general, Above All Cleaning & Restoration made a very stressful period in our lives much easier to handle. <br />

Bottom line is I highly recommend Marc and his team. I am managing a flood in my basement from across the country as landlord. Angie's list helped me identify Above All and I am happy I found them. The situation was addressed, the work completed as promised, and the bill and claim filing process explained to me each step of the way in a caring, professional and courteous way. <br />

Went great. They came out within hours of us calling them when we had a fairly minor basement flood. (Our humidifier tube burst and there was a small leak over most of a day - and we had JUST refinished our basement.) They pulled back the carpet, brought in fans and dehumidifiers, replaced the carpet pad when it was dry, and re-stretched the carpet. They were very nice and professional and easy to work with. <br /> I do think $950 is way too much to pay for this service, but unfortunately, this is not our first flood, so we know that's about going rate. They gave us a discount for not going through insurance, which we couldn't do because we'd already had a large water claim a year before. I liked Above All a lot more than the company we'd used before - who, incidentally, are no longer in business. <br />

I can't say enough good things about Marc and his company. I bought a house in July but didn't move in right away. One day while at the house, I realized that the movers had not turned off the faucet to the washing machine when they moved the previous owner out. It had been dripping down into the wall and under the floor of the laundry room. The wall and floor had obvious water damage. At the same time, I found signs of water in the dining room wall and baseboard. I was concerned about possible mold in both spots. I was referred to Marc and his company by my general contractor. From the beginning, Marc answered my phone calls promptly and was always on time for appointments. He thoroughly explained the process he would use to evaluate the problems and then fix them. His workers were very neat and always cleaned up after their work. Marc kept me informed throughout the process. If I had a question, he would call or text me an answer. I was extremely concerned about any mold in the house and Marc's reassuring, calm manner helped immensely. As part of the process, we had the duct work and furnace cleaned. After the duct cleaner left, my furnace quit working. It was the weekend when the temperature got down to 4degrees. I couldn't find the name of the contact at the duct cleaning company and it was after hours on a Friday night. I called Marc and he promptly called the duct cleaning company and arranged to have their on call HVAC person at my house that evening. <br /> If I ever have problems with water, smoke, or mold, he will be the first person I call. I can't say enough good things about Marc Sutto and his company. <br />

I tried to repair my upstairs toilet myself and it leaked for about 24 hours before I noticed in the room underneath it that the entire ceiliing was soaked. I called 7 places, all A listed on Angie's list and 2 could not come out for a week or more, 4 never returned my phone call and then Marc came out an hour after I called him and he got the repair started. Amazing. <br />

Marc came promptly the week before to pull up the carpet in front of the window well and left a specialized fan on to dry it out. He left the fan working until he returned to check that everything was dry and reinstalled the carpet.

<br /> Dec 26th. I was on vacation when a friend who was watching over our house called me to let me know I had a leak in my roof and water was dripping into the back bedroom. I knew I needed someone to help mitigate the water and help find the source of the leak. <br /> I went to Angie?s list on my iPad and found Marc at Above All Cleaning and Restoration so I decided to call him based on pervious reviews. <br /> Marc answered right away, and was at my home inspecting the damage in a few hours. He gave me updates and photos so I could view for myself what had happened. This all took place while I was 2800 miles away in Puerto Rico and I was not going to be home for another two weeks. What impressed me the most about Marc was he was about making sure everything was taken care, He told me not to worry about a deposit we could take care of it when I get home. He was concerned about taking care of my issue and making sure my home was secure. Marc had a roofer out to find the source of the leak; it was an ice dam so it cleared up as it melted but would need to be repaired. <br /> Marc started the water mitigation process to prevent mold and dry out the space. He help start working on what was going to be needed to fix the roof, replace drywall and paint and texture my ceiling. So everything was ready for me when I returned home. <br /> I cannot tell you how relieved I was to have found someone like Marc. When you are so far away from home and you are having an issue like this can be overwhelming. <br /> Everything from the initial water mitigation to the roofing repair work, the drywall crew, the texture and painting the ceiling went very smooth. Everyone on Marc?s team and people he referred me to, were the best. He has a great team and knows the right people. <br /> All of the work would have been done sooner if I did not need to deal with the previous owner regarding the roof ?guarantee? they gave us when we purchased the house. From the time we started with fixing the roof the finishing up with painting the ceiling and cleaning the carpets was a week and a half at most.

I fell asleep while my dinner was in the oven. I woke up to an apartment full of smoke. My attempts to air out the rooms didn't help much. We found Above All cleaning and Restoration in Arvada on Angieslist and called them. The owner was polite, seemed experienced and knowledgeable, and reasonable. He came to the apartment to assess the smoke damage and we discussed various options to remedy the problem. He was very flexible. We opted to do some cleaning ourselves including the oven and kitchen walls and floor to keep the costs down and he helped by providing some special cleaners to use and gave us good advice and tips. Then he came in over the weekend when we weren't there and shampooed the carpet that was holding much of the smell. He may have done some other cleaning too (I'm don't remember). He also put machines in to pump ozone into the air to neutralize the smoke that had permeated everything. He provided a lockbox on the door like Realtors use with our key in it to provide him access yet maintain security. The result was very satisfactory. The smoke smell is gone and we did it for a very reasonable price instead of the fortune usually charged for something like this. I recommend this company and I'd use them again if needed.

I didn't call until about 9 or 10 pm when I found the problem and realized that I would need help. They were on a job and had another after that and the one next morning already scheduled. They said they would be over as soon as they finished their first job on Sunday morning. True to their commitment, they arrived about 10:45 AM. <br /> <br /> Friends and I worked Saturday night and for a few hours Sunday morning to move almost all the furniture out of the two flooded rooms and pull up most of the padding. We also tried to vacuum up as much water as possible with a carpet shampooer and a shop vac, but we weren't having a big impact. Above All employees arrived Sunday, surveyed the damage and removed the rest of the padding. They put a piece of wooden furniture that had to stay in the bedroom up on foam blocks to keep it from absorbing more moisture. They discovered a couple of other areas of flooding that we had missed. They brought in the big heater fans and the large dehumidifier and set them up to get the best air circulation. The owner came back the next couple of evenings to check on progress of the drying and determine if we needed to have any drywall replaced. We didn't, so eventually when the carpet was dry, his employees came back to pick up their equipment and the carpet installer came by, measured the rooms and, at a date we agreed upon, returned to install the new padding and re-lay the old carpet.

We came home late Saturday night from Thanksgiving holiday travel. As soon as we opened the door to our house, we knew there was a problem, the whole house smelled like old, stagnate water. <br /> <br /> We called Above All Cleaning and Restoration that night and spoke to Marc. He had a team at our house the Sunday morning (our choice, nothing seemed to necessitate work late Saturday night). They quickly diagnosed our issue, explained the plan and got to work. Within 45 min the drying process was going, they removed everything that needed to be replaced and were out the door. <br /> <br /> The process took longer than initially anticipated, Above All was great to work with. They took the time to show/explain the steps and process and were flexible dealing with the situation as new issues arose. <br /> <br /> Marc provided us with a detailed explanation of the work and the costs associated. Given the timing (Sunday of a Holiday weekend) his pricing was very fair. Above All's work and customer service are exceptional, everyone is very respectful, knowledgeable and results focused. <br /> <br /> Above All took what we thought was going to be a complete disaster and made it a minor inconvenience. I will recommend Above All to friends and I will hire Marc again if necessary.

We had just bought our new home and during the second week living here, we were having our entire yard re-landscaped including a new sprinkler system. While the landscapers were working, they went to the basement and turned on the water and proceeded outside to work on the sprinkler system. When I came home later that night, I went down to the basement to do some laundry and half of our basement was flooded. The walls were buckling from the water in the walls and the new carpet was saturated with water. (I'd estimate about 500 sq ft). The inspector did not turn on the water in the basement apparantly, so he failed to notice a bust in the pipe from a previous freeze. <br /> <br /> I quickly got onto Angie's List and checked all past reviews of restoration companies, and was pleased to see the positve reports for Above All Cleaning & Restoration. I called right away and Marc answered (not a machine, what a concept). He was to my house within 2 hours. He assessed the situation and was able to give us a fair quote and start the job immediately so there was no further damage. <br /> <br /> His crew removed the carpet and the saturated pad underneath. They opened up all of the walls and put huge dryers in the walls and on the floors for a good week, coming back from time to time to check on the progress and move the dryers. He ordered an equivalent pad when everything was dry, put in the pad, restretched our carpet and then steam cleaned the entire area. He even went above and beyond and steam cleaned my carpets upstairs as an added bonus! <br /> <br /> Marc was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and very likeable. He did not try to upsell us on things we didn't need, and I feel for the amount of work and time the job took, the price was extremely reasonable. I completely trusted him and his crew to be in our home when we were not here. <br /> <br /> I would NOT hesitate to recommend or use him in the future. Marc is a great guy and very honest. Thanks so much for eliminating the stress from a stressful situation!

Mark responded to my call quickly and was able to meet me at the house to take a look and give me an estimate. The work started that week. they had to removed a about a sheet's worth of drywall, scrub out the mold, fix the back of some drywall into the bathroom on the other side of the wall (thankfully he was able to do that without having to take down that wall because it had tile & wallpaper). They treated the wall/studs to make sure the mold didn't come back, then put up a new sheet of drywall, mudded it, primed and painted the entire wall - even matching the old paint perfectly. I got a great report on all the work with pictures and details that I was able to provide to the new owners. <br /> <br /> If I had to deal with mold, I'm very glad I called Above All to take care of the problem and I would definitely use them again!

Marc came out the same day I called him to fix the water damage from a flooded window well in my basement. He removed the saturated carpet pad, the remaining water and put in a under carpet fan to dry the carpet (about 12' x 4') for 2 days. He then came back and moved the fan to dry out behind the drywall under the window. The following day, he returned to install new padding and reattached the carpet.

So it's Friday night and my husband and I decide to pick up take out for dinner. We load our dog in the car and we're off..gone 60-75 minutes. When we return, we walk in from the garage and it's raining in our kitchen. I'm not talking a trickle down the wall but a full on down pour. The toilet in our master bath had overflowed while we were gone...they estimate between 1500-2000 gallons of water worked their way through one side of our house. In addition to water coming through all of the can lights in the ceiling on the main level AND in the basement, the microwave took on a life of its own and started flashing like a Christmas tree bulb. If it wasn't so terrible it would be funny. I called the claim line for my insurance provider, they told me they would get someone to our house in less than 2 hours. By this time it's nearly 10pm on Friday night and I'm thinking who in the world would come out this late (and it was snowing no less). Lo and behold, just before midnight the crew from Above All was here...they immediately started tearing out carpet padding and rolling in the fans/dehumidifiers. They left just before 3am - it was a heroic effort. Since then (we are on day 6 now), they have been out every single day to check on things, move fans around, answer our questions, etc. The insurance adjuster even commented on their level of workmanship. We're still in the remediation phase but if you EVER have water damage in your home PLEASE call Marc with Above All. They are professional, courteous, kind, helpful...they have been a tremendous blessing throughout this entire process. We feel respected, taken care of and HEARD -- you will NOT be sorry if you work with them!
