Above the Rest Fencing

I thought I made a great hire, but I was wrong. I needed a gate repaired due to the ground sinking around it. At first they seemed good. Came and got started right away and “finished”in two days. They left a mess a ruined part of my yard, but I believed they were coming back to clean up. The gate is also very difficult to open and shut. You have to be very strong to do it and my wife is locked out of her own yard because she can’t use it. I let the owner know it needed to be adjusted, and he came back that day to look at it. He was very upset with his guys and how it was done. He said it was F’in terrible and what we talked about wasn’t done. He said he’d come back himself to fix it. Well it’s been 3 weeks and he hasn’t shown up again. He said a few times he’d come by, but hasn’t. I am now being ignored and have asked for my money back, but I doubt I’ll have it returned. I’m trying to decide if I take legal action. They’ve acted very unprofessional. Don’t hire this company.

Never showed up after taking tbe deposit

David did a great job fixing our fence gate and adding some cedar poles for our trellis. He finished the project in a timely manner

After we placed our deposit, this company initially scheduled our fence installation for a Saturday, then called me stupid for asking about it when that Saturday came around because distributors were closed. They repeatedly did not show up at the time they said they would to measure. When the day came that we expected them to be out to place the gate (day 8 after being told it'd be available in 5-7 days), I had to contact them and they said they'd be out to put it in the next day. They never showed and became increasingly impossible to contact and never gave a straight answer. After several no shows, I requested a refund. I was told multiple times I'd receive the refund that day but never did. I had to file a police report and this is looking like it'll end in small claims court. I have no gate and they've stolen my money. Also, at least one of these 5 star reviews is fake, left by the same person they had me send money to. Very disappointed and feeling scammed.

The fence work itself was done well, but they left a gap underneath that they did not fill. They did not complete the work described in our signed service contract. When I explained this to David he became incredibly hostile screamed and cussed at me on the phone before hanging up and told me he had no interest in completing the job. He even threatened to come to my home and tear the fence down. It was only when I withheld payment and explained that I would have to deduct the cost of hiring a different contractor to complete the job that he begrudgingly half-assed the remaining work. He promised to come back to finish staining the other side of the fence as agreed in our Service Contract one I had permission from my difficult to contact neighbor, but now that I have it he is ignoring all communication. Do not trust David, he will overcharge you, oversell you, give you false guarantees and threaten you when things don't go his way. He is unfit for a customer facing position.

They did a good job.

David was such gentleman and his crew were also it was great to treated so fair, I never felt he was taking advantage of me.
