Jose & John did a great job in installing a new gas line from our gas meter to our fireplace, for a new gas fireplace insert. They were very professional, friendly, and thorough. The price was reasonable. Will definitely use A.B.Plumbing in the future.

Mike H. diagnosed our immediate concern as a failing hot water circulation pump, which they replaced. Mike was very knowledgeable and thorough, checking everything out, explaining what our options were, and answering all our questions. Mike & Rico also reseated a rocking toilet, flushed the hot water heater and opened a wall to inspect for the dreaded Kitec plumbing (which was not found, fortunately). They were prompt, worked efficiently and left everything clean when finished. While their prices may not be the lowest, we felt their expertise was worth what we paid. We definitely will call on A.B. Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

My water heater was 11-year old. Louis suggested replacing it with a new one at the beginning. I insisted on trying economic fixes first. Had thermal couple, pilot assembly, gas valve replaced and couldn't made it work. The final solution was replacing it with a new Rheem water heater. I am having a reliable water heater now.

At the time the new HVAC system seemed fine but now, a few years later, we are having major issues, apparently because of poor work on the part of AB Plumbing. We stopped using AB after a couple of experiences where they were rude and/or non-responsive to our calls for service. They seemed to not care we were long-time, loyal customers but we figured it was just one of those things and turned to other companies for our plumbing and heating needs. We called in another reputable HVAC company this week to look at the furnace AB installed because it wasn't working. After looking at our furnace and AC system, they are finding one instance after another of what they are calling "poor practices." A melted washer in the AC pipe that caused the system to freeze up, which then melted and leaked water into the furnace and gas valve. A crimped hose to the pump. A sensor not placed properly in the AC system. And more. He showed me the rusted parts, the residue from where the water dried in our furnace, the twisted washer, the crimped pipe, and other evidence of a poor installation job. If it was just one thing, I'd say it's just a small mistake but there are so many problems, it's got to be sheer incompetence on AB's part. I noticed the last couple years that the AC didn't seem to be working well but chalked it up to a hot summer. Now I know better. The technician from the new company we called in said the system has been limping along but the poor installation has put unusual wear and tear on it and also most likely raised our utility bills since the system had to work so hard to overcome the installation issues. Not only was it badly done and costly, but it could have been dangerous. Another factor in our dissatisfaction with the company is that last year we called in a plumber who told us the plumbing under our sink was not done correctly when AB replaced our old sink and installed new fixtures and garbage disposer a few years ago. Now with this new experience with the furnace and our past experience with the plumbing, we feel that AB incompetently installed our furnace/AC and we are disgusted that they would do this to a loyal customer who used them for many years. Not much we can do now except tell people not to use AB. We won't ever again.

Took a while to get a response after I had purchased a deal from AL but I did eventually get one.  Outside of that the plumber came out and did a great job replacing my gate valve.  It had seized up and broke which didn't allow me the option of shutting the water off should my water heater leak or fail.  The work was done professionally and really fast.  I'll definitely use again. <br />

<p>Using an Angie's List special offer, I paid $89 for 2 hours of plumbing labor.  The technician repaired the water line to the refrigerator and dismantled a beyond-fixable solar water heater and capped it off from the gas water heater.  I did have to pay an additional $74 for parts to cap off the water heater.  Despite the sticker shock for the parts, the overall price was way better than if I went with a different plumbing company, which would have probably charged $180-200 for the two hours of labor alone.<br /> <br /> The technician was very professional and courteous  He explained in detail all of the work he did as he was doing it.  The work was performed well, he cleaned up his messes, and I am completely satisfied with his work.</p> <p>Update on 12/22/15 -- The water heater started leaking a couple of days ago, and the company sent out a plumber to fix it at no charge.  They are awesome!<br /> <br /> </p>
