He was great. Fast, courteous, very professional - used boot booties! He told me of some other problems with the tub, and stressed he was not a plumber and not trying to up-sell, he just wanted me to know in case I had a plumber out and wanted to fix it. It was even a Saturday appointment! I absolutely would contact him again if I had a drain problem.

Arrived early for the work ( called to get the OK ). Cleaned up from the work, explained what was going on with the drains and gave good advice on what likely lead to the clogs and how to help prevent in the future. <br /> <br /> All in all good experience.

Our original appointment had to be rescheduled.  He called with more than enough notice, apologized profusely for the delay and having to reschedule, as the job he was working was taking longer than expected.  He arrived promptly on the reschedule day, was very personable and worked quickly.  It's been almost two weeks and we haven't had a back up in the drain -fantastic job!  Thank you so much! <br />

<p>I had made an appointment with Absolute Drains earlier as a result of your ad coinciding with our toilets getting sluggish. Noel was very polite and helpful, but the soonest he could get to us was on Wed. Sept. 23 (which was over a week from the call). He explained that he was slammed with jobs resulting from the ad with you. And then on Saturday, we had feces back up in the tub. Noel was unable to come, so called a local drain man, but got no answer. Back to Noel. He was very prompt in answering, but he was waiting on a cable for his augur. He told me that he would come as soon as he could. On Monday, the part still hadn't arrived. He said that it had mistakenly been shipped to Newark, New Jersey and had to be resent. He also told me that it was $150. He then told me that if it didn't arrive in the morning, he would rent a machine and that I would have to pay for the rental. ($100) Then on Tuesday afternoon he told me that his part still had not arrived and that the machine had not been returned to the rental place and it was the only one on site. So he did come with a smaller electric snake and we did get a slight reprieve. But it still meant virtually no use of washers and no toilet paper in the toilets and no flushing unless feces were involved. So other living arrangements had to be continued, esp. for my son's pregnant wife. Then he did not arrive until Wed. (after our scheduled appt.) because he said that the part still had not arrived, so he had to drive to Grandview and purchase a cable. He was frustrated, but still very polite.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> He later came in visibly upset. His cable had broken and he was struggling to retrieve it out of my drain. He told me the next step was to have my septic tank drained to see if that was the source of the problem and if not, I would have to have a camera go down to see what was there and then go from there.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> I called the septic tank folks while he was still working on the cable retrieval. Based on what I told them, they said that they did not believe the septic tank was the source of the problem, but it was about time to have it emptied. I told Noel what they said and he reiterated that the septic tank was probably backed up (which it was not) and that it was the next logical step. He was still very polite even though he was agitated from the frustration of breaking his tool. The septic folks suggested that Noel go back in there and try again first, but he said that he couldn't do it because of his broken tool and then his composure broke a little. He said that this job had cost him quite a bit of money already. Once his cable was retrieved, he came back out and told me that he did not get one penny from what I had paid you all...that you keep all funds from "flash ads" and he was overwhelmed with how much "free work" he was having to do and that he had to spend gas and time and energy to go get the part and now it was broken, so he was a single father struggling to make his ends meet and I would have to pay for the part. He also felt like he wasn't making any money at all off of this job, but he shouldn't have to go in the hole to do it either. I responded that I understood his frustration, but that it didn't make any sense to me why I should have to pay for a tool that he had broken. It seemed to me that it should be his responsibility, not mine--especially since he hadn't even fixed anything. He reiterated that Angie's List did not give him a penny of what I had paid. When he told me that the cable had cost $300 and he wasn't even charging me for all of his other time and energy, I reminded him that he had been telling me that the cable was $150. He said that it was that price when he ordered it, but that it was<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> $300 for the one he had bought in Grandview and that he had other jobs pending still that he wouldn't be able to take care of without the tool that had broken. I still didn't think it was my responsibility, but he was adamant that it was part of the job. I paid him the $300 via check and let him know that I would be contacting you all because I didn't feel like my services had been rendered as described in your ad and that the whole point of Angie's List was to use companies that have proven to be trustworthy for others already.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The septic tank people came the next day and emptied the tank: $270. They confirmed what they had previously indicated: the septic tank was not the source of the problem. The other drain man (who had been on a family trip on the weekend) came and cleared the drains: $155. He had to pull both toilets in order to get it all cleared. He also said that the cable costs between $120 and $180, NOT $300.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> When I went in to clean up the bathroom, I saw what I thought was a piece of toilet paper on the floor at the base of the toilet. It was actually a piece of my linoleum that had turned up. When I reached down to pick up the "paper", I realized that there was a whole segment of my linoleum that had been damaged. An oval about 6" long had been removed and then laid back down, but the one corner would not cooperate. Noel had never mentioned it to me: another source of frustration.</p> <p>I have not contacted Noel since the 23rd because I feel like I had already told him that I would be in contact with you all---and that he apparently lied to me. (Cost of part, my "responsibility" for something that he broke, the hurt linoleum.)</p>

Kitchen sink was clogged again and Absolute Drains got it unclogged for me.  Did a great job and I would recommend them! <br />

He snaked the drain multiple times.  Explained that I have galvanized pipes and should probably think about getting those replace with PVC.  That is not something he does right now so I know he wasn't just trying to sell me something. <br /> Was polite and very infotmative.  Would use again! <br />

We had just purchased our house and quickly realized one of the gutter drains to the curb was plugged up and we were seeing moisture in our basement during some heavy rains.  <br /> Once Noel and his crew started the project, we quickly realized this was going to be a big job! We found several feet of concrete in the drain, and closer to the house there was an old stump and tree root system next to the house, just under the sod! <br /> His team worked two weekend and in the rain to remove the old drains and re-run a new drain lines with better flow to the street.  <br /> We were very happy with Noel's work, especially his responsiveness. He kept us informed throughout the process and was very professional. <br />   <br /> <br />

Noel was great through the entire process.  He was excellent in his communications with me up to and through the performance of the job to snack the main floor drain. I will definitely use him again - if ever needed.  I recommend him to anyone seeking an efficient and professional plumber. <br />

Noel was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, fair priced, and very attentive.  Went above and beyond the scope of the project. We originally were going off original drawings of the drainage system which were incorrect.  After spending an extra amount of time we discovered the drawings were wrong.  Noel was patient even after this unintended mix up.  Once we found the correct piping he was able to clear the clog in no time.  He also provided a couple suggestions for future work and maintenance.  Highly recommend their services and may be looking to hire them for additional work. <br />

We were having a problem with our tub and shower which every time we took a shower would be standing in ankle deep water so we decided to call back absolute Drains and just like the first time we had the pleasure of having Noel as our tech and he was wonderful and fixed our issue in a timely manner and was very professional and very friendly Absolute Drains was on time and called us just minutes after we had called.We will definitely use them again and will keep using them.Thank you Noel for your hard work.

I called Absolute Drains and others for a quote to snake a slow kitchen drain. Noel was the first to return my call, so I scheduled with him the next day. He showed up at my house and was very polite and very professional. He assessed the kitchen sink job and went back to his vehicle for the tools he would be needing. He placed a bucket under the trap to minimize the trap and then launched the power snake into the drain. It didn't seem to be doing the job, so he asked if he could go into the basement (crawl space) to see the drain pipe and get an idea of its length. His years of experience came to the forefront at this point! A plunger works better with PVC drains, who knew?! So he got out his heavy-duty plunger and worked at it for a while and blasted through the blockage. He cleaned up what little mess he made while working. I will not hesitate to call him again in the future. Thanks Absolute Drains and NOEL!!!! <br />

They, Noel and 2 others, were here more than 2 hours.  My gutters had not been cleaned since I had new gutters installed.  I had thought with the gutter guards that the gutters would not need cleaning every year, but I was wrong.  They had been here only a short time when Noel showed me a bucket full of pine needles.   Noel is a real go-getter, a hard worker, and proud of his work ethic.  He kept showing me what he was doing all throughout the process. <br />

<p>I had a blocked main sewer and had a very difficult time getting various local plumbers to return calls or answer their phones. Noel immediately answered his and came out promptly to provide a free estimate. He was friendly, courteous, honest, and knowledgeable. He informed me that he would return the following day to perform the job (he was booked until then, but given the severity of my problem he was able to schedule ASAP service).  </p> <p>He performed the task effectively (running snake to unclog main drain) and with minimal mess. He kept me informed during the process and was happy to answer all of my questions. He is quite experienced, offered extremely competitive pricing. and really seems to enjoy his job. I will definitely use him again and recommend him highly without reservations.</p> <br />

Very professional and knowledgeable company ,the tech came out on time and provided more information on my problem than other companies. He was able to get my downspout open at a very reasonable cost. Would recommend to anyone with drain problems. <br />
