Greg & Donnell cleaned all the exterior cabinet surfaces. I didn't want the insides painted and I really like the contrasting look now when I open them. Greg removed the doors and drawers and took them to his place to primer, lightly sand and paint. He and Donnell came back to do the same with the boxes. They worked super quick and well together. A real team there. They started on Monday and were completely finished by Friday morning. I purchased some handles at Home Depot and my son added them to the cabinets which really made them stand out. I could not be happier with the results. My cabinets turned out exactly like the picture I had in my head. My kitchen looks so much bigger and open and light.

Greg and his wife were wonderful to work with and clearly very experienced at what they do. They were extremely responsive and knowledgeable. The quality and timeliness of their work was excellent and the price was very reasonable. We are planning on doing some more work on our home in the future and would not hesitate to use Absolute Home Solutions again.

We went with Absolute Home because their quote came in quite a bit lower than other contractors. We were really excited to get started, and Greg did start with a bang. Then the job kept getting started and delayed, started and delayed. We understood we hired a small contractor, but was told he would be dedicated to our project. He kept having to finish or start other jobs then return to ours. His helper broke our garage door. We bought a new one and he installed it for free. We have told him several times it's still not hung right. A piece of the house siding has come off several times, he came out once and pushed it back into place. He has not come back out to fix it. Despite the problems, we were overall happy with the price and work done, so we went ahead and paid him to fix our fence, power-wash and stain the rest of the fence and decking. He fixed the fence with much cheaper quality wood than the rest of the fence is built from. Then he said he had to wait until the weather warmed up to do the stain. That was March/April. He has not been out to finish the job to date. I have given him the option to refund our money since he didn't complete the project, but he has not responded.

They did a great job.  Everyday when I got home they had all of their tools neatly out of the way and everything cleaned up.  They were done about a week earlier then they expected.  When Greg says he is not done until you are happy he is right.  <br />

The job was done well.  Greg and his wife a very friendly.  They had some extenuating circumstances with several family emergencies that caused some delays and re-scheduling of work which was frustrating. <br />

This project was for three bathroom remodels in a 1960 single level ranch - the bathrooms hadn't had much updating.  There was extensive wallpaper in two of them which had to be removed (this is a terrible job!) followed by wall prepping.  The powder room proceeded without any problems and was done quickly. The guest bath required a few changes that were unexpected, such as moving the door frame to accommodate a 32" tub instead of the 30" originally in place, and moving the vanity light box.  Greg and Donnell were always happy  to do whatever I wanted, and offered advise and tips along the way when unexpected things came up.  <br /> The en suite bathroom was a big mess from extensive water damage that we didn't know about.  When Greg took down the tiles parts of the wall completely collapsed from water damage (and everything looked great on the outside).  The wood beams were rotten, the sub floor under the shower tray was rotten and almost completely unsupported, and once Greg removed the tile flooring we realized that all of the sub floor had water damage and needed to be replaced.  Greg was suspicious and went into the crawl space under the house to determine if additional damage was evident, and it was.  This is a 1960 ranch house that has a strange support structure with support beams further apart than is typical.  The entire bathroom was essentially unsupported with the exception of two screw jacks in place (we knew about this from the home inspection but it wasn't clear the extent of previous damage).  Greg built an entire new support structure under the bathroom & shower.   As an add on we had Greg insulate our water pipes and replace some of the fiberglass insulation under the house. <br /> <br /> I was so pleased with the work and the overall attitude of Greg and Donnell that I decided to have them install two new skylights.  Right after purchasing the house I tried to have skylights installed but was told by the contractor that he couldn't install them because the HVAC ducts were in the way (they are flexible plastic, not metal).  When I mentioned this to Greg he laughed and said of course the ducts could be moved, they're flexible and extenders can by installed if necessary (it wasn't).  Now I have two beautiful skylights thanks to Greg & Donnell! <br /> <br /> Overall I really appreciated the communications between Greg, Donnell, and me.  We typically used text messaging which I find very convenient, and they could send me photos along with questions while I was at work.  I am a bit of a control freak and Greg and Donnell were OK with my need to know what was going on, and immediately if problems arose.  I plan on having them back in the early winter to replace an ugly stone fireplace facing and do some work on my kitchen.

This is the second time I called them. They do great work and are great people. The first time I used them they were part of a competitive bid process and they chose a significantly less expensive approach to my problem which was minor. I firmly believe the other contractors wanted a significant payout to make it worth their while to do the work. This contractor will tell you truthfully what is wrong and will fix it for a fair price. When it came time for this job I didn't even shop around. And they did not disappoint. If I had anything negative to say it would be that I had to be proactive in getting them to communicate when they would do the work (they are very busy). BUT I did tell them I was in no hurry for it. I think I am partially to blame and won't ding them too much for this. I have other jobs that need to get done and will not hesitate to call them when I can find the extra cash to pay for it. I highly recommend them.

<p>My expectations are that everything is done in 2 weeks. That's really not reasonable, it took about six weeks and had new ductwork installed, W/D utility sink relocated, new bathroom with separate sink/vanity area and then sliding door leading to shower/toilet area. The plumbing and electrical did take some added time but quality jobs take time and I did re-direct them at times to change the layout which they had no problem doing. Greg tiled the shower and bathroom floor at no extra cost since I set him up on another job in a rental house I own.</p>

Very personable, but never quite finished anything (holes in walls, caulking, etc.) I provided everything except actual construction materials, but I think contractor could have received better prices than I did. They can back several times to finish this and that, but never quite managed to actually finish anything. Finally, they just stopped coming. I repaired the large hole in the wall and the shower caulking myself, and had a plumber remount the toilet. The contractor mentioned he had a sick mother out of town and has my sympathy, but still . .. <br />

He provided estimate and completed the work in a timely manner. Work was very good! I would call on him again if needed. Price was reasonable.

They were called due to a leak under the sink in the kitchen . Fist time out said there was no leak. After 2 weeks of re scheduling some one came out. I told them I thought it was from the garbage disposal. I was told no it was the line from dishwasher to sink. I paid for new lines. they did not fit so the old line adapter was used. long story short it still leaked. New plumber came out, and yes I needed a new garbage disposal. Not recommended,. <br />

We contracted with Greg to repair and strengthen our existing deck but after removing the surface boards he found the supporting lumber was too damaged to use and the whole deck needed to be replaced.  At every point in the process, Greg kept us informed of what was going on and asked what we wanted to do.  He knew we were on a limited budget and made every effort to keep costs down while still giving us a strong, durable deck.  He arrived promptly every day and worked hard, in spite of the high temperatures we were having.  We were extremely pleased with his service and love the new deck. <br />

The completed roof looks fantastic. The tearoff was no way as bad as people had told me it would be. Care was taken to make sure no damage was done to my yard. Everyone who worked on project was friendly and pleasant to be around <br />

Absolute Home Solutions was the only contractor to respond to my request for bids on the job.  They were quick to return my call and delivered a detailed estimate in a very timely manner.  We agreed to terms, schedule and cost and formalized a contract and Absolute started the job within the week.  Job was completed in the estimated time frame and met our expectations for quality.  Greg and Dawnelle were friendly and personable and  quick to ask questions when they needed our input which was much appreciated.  Though not always exactly on time arriving at the job site, they worked hard and kept the project right on schedule.  Plan to use their services again when our next drywall job begins.  Many thanks to Greg and Dawnelle. <br />

Our experience with them didn't work out very good. They put a double roof on top of my parents' mobile home, which you're not supposed to do, because it's too heavy, and the trailer started cracking. They had to call another company in to take care of the problem. The other company came in and removed the roof and replaced it. They weren't licensed to do the work and didn't get a permit to do it.

See above....sorry. I ramble on when I'm upset. Just don't hire absolute home solutions. B.C. Construction was really really professional, go with them every time. Just my 2 cents. <br />

They are awesome; we actually are still using them for other projects.  They also have done several other projects in the past. Their charges have been very reasonable. Their first project was completing a house siding job that another contractor walked off from before finishing. They also painted and trimmed the house as well as putting siding on the garage. Now they are doing my back patio where they are replacing the ceiling panels, painting, caulking and sealing. He also is going to replace the major trim facing the south on our house. I highly recommend him.
