Joe is an awesome installer. We remodeled our bathroom and Joe installed the glass doors in our bathroom. He did an amazing job. Also he stands behind what he does. He came back and adjusted the doors and handles on the door after we had used it for over a year in an expeditious time frame. He is pleasant and very easy to work with. Highly recommend him.

Awesome. Joe was very professional. He went over everything so we understood what was going to be done. He went over options and offered experienced suggestions. Extremely pleased. We have had several complements on the work done. I am actually getting ready to contact him for another job.

Fantastic. They are the only people that we will use to install our shower enclosure and glass door. Price is very competitive.

The installer was careful to install it with precision, explaining what he was doing as he went. After a year, the door had slid about an eighth of an inch downward. The installer promptly came back out and fixed it for no charge and it has stayed put in the year since. Looks great!

Joe said he would be out to see the work twice but was a "no show" both times and never called to explain why. He did give some reason to my husband but we told him all you had to do was call us. The third time he made the appt he was late by 30 mins and again never called us to let us know. I was on Angie's List booking someone else when the door bell rang and it was Joe. He never said why he was late (or apologized) but he did install the doors quickly and he did do an EXCELLENT job!!! He even gave us tips on the cleaner to use for the doors and the tile on the shower walls.

Make sure you get a WRITTEN QUOTE and a time commitment. This business owner came to our home and measured our dining table for a custom cut glass top. He verbally quoted 8' x 3' at $18 per square foot. He discussed doing the glass in 2 pieces but then said he could do it in one. Later we e-mailed the owner saying we understood the quote to be 8' x 3' = 24 sq ft x $18 for a total of $432 and IF that was correct and IF he could do it in one piece then we would like to proceed with the order. Shortly after he came back and traced the table top to create a template for the glass. Next we waited. And waited. Over the next several months we inquired about the status of our order on a couple of occasions, and grew increasingly frustrated as we received conflicting information. One time he said it was almost done and he just had to finish polishing the edges, yet the next time we called he said he was just about to start on it??? FOUR MONTHS after the order was placed he finally delivered the glass and presented us with an invoice for $660!!! More than 50% higher than quoted! We questioned the invoice, reminded him of his verbal quote, and showed him the e-mail we sent to place the order, which was contingent on confirming the price and ensuring the glass would be one piece (it was). He said that he didn't check the numbers in the e-mail but that he was "exact with his measurements". Although we did not agree with his total price, we did agree that he quoted a per square foot price of $18 so we paid the invoice in full. After he left we measured the table and discovered that not only had he charged us for more than quoted, but he also charged us for more glass than we even received. We contacted him to question the charge again. He said he had told us there was extra due to the templating process?? Absolutely not true...just another untruthful claim. Very disappointing response from this business owner that we had used in the past and even referred his services to others, which we certainly will not do again.

The end product itself was nice, but the 4 month wait, dishonesty we encountered, and deceitful billing practices we experienced were not worth it.

Joe provided a new frameless glass door for a shower we'd had some repair tile work done in. The floor and curb were re-done and were great. However, the walls were the existing shower walls and were not all that straight. Another glass door provider told me there would be "extra silicon" in the areas where the tile bowed out some. But Joe did a really beautiful job, and while it's true that the tiles aren't perfectly flat and straight, there are no globs of silicon--nothing that I would have even noticed was "extra." He was absolutely meticulous about measuring beforehand and seeing where the glass might need to be cut at an angle instead of straight. His price was also less than the other two providers I got estimates from. I called three local customers before hiring him, to ask about his work, and all gave glowing reviews. I would not hesitate to use him again.

I described my leaking problem with the new Home Depot shower to him and Joe Pokorski made an appointment to come look at the shower that day. He said that the shower from Home Depot did not fit the dimensions of our bathroom. Being 20 years old, our house was not perfectly plumb. The Home Depot glass surrounds are all made the same size and are equipped with sealers to make up for the difference in home measurements. Our previous shower was a fiberglass, total unit that fit into the space, whatever the measurements of the room. I was disappointed that our beautiful tile and glass shower renovation was a leaky mess when used.
Since I didn't want to throw good money after bad trying to fix something that was unworkable, I asked how much it would cost to get a custom fitted surround. I held my breath since we had just finished remodeling and could do nothing extravagant. The price he quoted was not too much. Joe said that since they cut their own glass, he could sell at a cheaper price.
Joe Pokorski made another appointment to come measure the shower surround within 2 days. After measuring, he said that it would take 10-12 days for the glass to be put in the lineup and cut. After 12 days, he called to make an appointment to install the surround. It was a work of art, cut at 45 degree angles to pivot both ways. Since the shower was small, the water hit mainly on the door and ran down instead of hitting the shower floor first. Joe came out to make any adjustments needed so that the door was as water tight as an aquarium when the shower was running. We were very pleased, not only with the outcome, but the timely service and the polite, knowledgeable attitude of Mr. Pokorski.
I
