The energetic and happy crew that installed my new roof knew exactly what to do. Each member understood their role and how to perform it in an expertly synchronized way. The crew timed the installation perfectly in and around the crazy fall weather. Everyone gave their best to my project. I want to especially thank Tom Carroll and Craig White. Tom walked me through the initial steps of doing paperwork and then he patiently answered all of my questions whenever I called him. Craig, who gathered his experience taking job after job until he learned the many different aspects of the roofing industry, took personal pride in planning every phase of my project. Craig is the one I counted on to smooth out the installation process so I didn't have to worry about a thing. These two men are lifesavers. They each gave generously of themselves and put their hearts into helping me. Thank you!

They suck, they’re lucky I didn’t sue them, I still might. Everything from not showing up and/or like at all when they were supposed to, or not showing up when they were supposed to. They told me the guy doing my siding had been doing it for years with their company, and I actually talked to those guys and they have been in the country for about a year and a half. So, my siding is just screwed up. I’ve had them out here multiple times fixing things here and there, like the lines on the molding part that goes down the side and around your windows and on the bottom of the siding, it is just crooked as all get out. My gutters leak, they’ve been out to try and fix those. They screwed up, didn’t do my roof right, so things are still getting wet in my attic. You name it, they’re horrible, absolutely horrible. The start date I was told would be a week and a half, it took them about 4 months. They were out not too long ago to another repair because a piece of siding just kind of blew off as soon as the wind blew a little bit, because they didn’t have it attached right. I’ve got nothing for them, as you can tell. It was infuriating. This has been going on for 2 years now. It’s pretty crazy. They didn’t build things up and there’s a wasp nest behind them. They didn’t clean up well. Unloaded bundles of siding and shingles in my driveway without saying a word and then left them there, so I couldn’t use my driveway. It’s pretty real professional. They screwed up my gate and replaced it with a piece of crap, when I had a really nice gate. I had to have them come fix that for like the fourth time, because it wouldn’t close. I have just taken pictures of my gutters leaking, so I will be getting a hold of them again, so I can show them some lovely videos. People need to know! I’d hate for somebody to have to go through what we went through with those people. We had concert ticket, we had football tickets, we had flights and they’d said they would be here, so we changed them and they didn’t show up. Their confrontation was absolutely horrible. I mean everything was horrible, everything. There was one gal that worked in their office that I had never met, it was probably the only reason that I didn’t go down there and start jumping over people’s desks. She tried, but she was just a scheduler, answer the phones person. I could call her today and she would be like, “now what?” I don’t remember the charge to be honest, it was probably somewhere between $30,000 and $40,000.

This company surpasses any service company I've ever worked with! Every single person I worked with was professional, responsive to my concerns, efficient, skilled in their particular job--including the sales rep who negotiated with my insurance company to adequately cover the price of the job, the project manager who kept me informed every step of the way, the trained in-house roofers who worked in the cold and thoroughly cleaned the property at the end of each day, and the in-house engineer who inspected the job after it was done. Academy Roofing, a family-owned business who's been in Denver for some 40 years, has won the national Roofer of the Year Award in 2008 and continues to offer expert service.

The initial assessment was thorough - they actually went up on our roof to take measurements and inspect everything, which is more than the other companies did. Our house was built with a concrete tile roof in 1994.  We had 2 active leaks in the home which required major repairs.  The OSB board, underlayment and battens had to be replaced.  Academy removed the old tile, made all of the necessary repairs and then re-installed the original tile. <br /> I originally found Academy Roofing on Angie's list.  Given the positive reviews and additional research on the company, we chose Academy from 4 roofing companies we had spoken with.  We cannot speak highly enough about Academy Roofing.  They were exceptional to work with, from the initial inspection of the roof to completion of the job.  Their staff is professional, pleasant and truly care about their customers and quality of work.  We live in a prominent gated community outside of Denver and our HOA Board is very familiar with Academy Roofing.  We have shared our positive experience with the Board as well as others in the community. <br /> Since we've never had a concrete tile roof before, we had to learn a lot about how these roofs are constructed and what causes these roofs to leak.  We were always under the impression concrete tile roofs can last a good 40-50 years.   We learned the tile can, but rarely does the system under the tile last as long.   We also learned there are a lot of roofing companies who claim they work with tile roofs, but it requires a specific skill and understanding of the construction to do it right.   Many of our neighbors had another company do their repairs and are not happy with the contractor who did the work. <br /> Don't be fooled by general roofing companies who say they also handle concrete tile and then quote you the lowest price.   You'll get what you pay for.  We highly recommend Academy Roofing for a quality job at a competitive price, and by people who take exceptional care of their customers. <br />

I'm extremely happy with my new roof. Professional, great quality, extremely hard-working, nice guys. The estimate was within $50 of my insurance claim check so I felt comfortable that I was getting exactly what I should be getting. Jason Dubois and Jeff Luedtke were outstanding to work with. I've had many, many contractors at my house -- these guys tied for the best (with my HVAC guy.) The new skylights are amazing. Whole new lighting situation inside the house because they let so much more light in. The Littleton city inspector said the roof looked great. Nice thing also is that I just got a discount on my insurance premium due to hail-resistant shingles. Megan in the office was really professional and helpful as well. Everything about the experience went well. Finished in 3 days, exactly as they'd said upfront.

Had a great experience with Academy from start to finish. Needed a new roof after hail storms in 2014. Due to a backlog of customers awaiting service, it took a couple months for them to come out and do the job, but they provided an accurate estimate of when they'd be available and updated me periodically on their status. They also did a great job of communicating with my insurance company. Academy is a professional outfit and I'd highly recommend them.

Great response from the vendor, great price and I was very happy with the work that was carried out. My only complaint, and why they do not get an A is that shortly after the work I got a flat and the culprit was a roofing nail. <br /> They turned up on time, kept themselves pretty tidy during the installation and did a very neat job.  <br /> Their price on the shingle was very good and no competitor could get near it.  <br />

We had damage to our roof from a hail storm.  We interviewed a number of roofing contractors.  As part of this project we wanted to add insulation to the attic and replace our gutters.  Academy was the only company that would do all aspects without having to sub out any portion.  They were great throughout from receiving the initial bid, through contracting and performing the work.  They were in constant contact giving me updates on when the work would be scheduled and as the project progressed.  A number of our neighbors had recently had similar work done.  We received compliments from them about how efficient the Academy team was and the final result.  They did a great job and we have had no problems with our roof. <br />

Did a great job. so far we have ad a few snows and freezes and no leaks.  Able to repair instead of replace, so saved us a lot of money vs other quotes. They also gave us photos of the work (since the gutters were on second story) so we could see what they did. <br />

Academy Roofing replaced our roof and gutters this past fall. A friend recommended them.  The whole process was organized and pleasant -- the office staff kept us informed about the installation dates and the crew who did the work cleaned up the yard each day. We recently had a home inspection done and the inspector said it was one of the best roofs he has seen. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />But even more impressive: After finding a problem in our attic a few days ago, I called Academy Roofing, wondering if the problem was related to the roof.  Although the company was officially closed for the holidays, Jeff Lutke was on call.  He immediately drove out to my house on his day off. He quickly determined that the problem was not related to the roof (later confirmed by others) but spent 45 minutes trying to figure out the source of the problem, as well as the fix.  Wow -- what customer service and a very nice person.   <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I highly recommend this company, as they were recommended to me. <br />

They were very professional and very reliable.

Academy helped me choose roofing that would satisfy my HOA, and give me the best high impact protection. They were very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. They also replaced my damaged gutters and skylight. Cleanup everyday was very thorough. Crew was courteous, friendly, and efficient. There was one small issue with the inspection, which was quickly corrected. Hoping for no more hail, but I know Academy will be there for me if needed. <br />

everything went extremely well.  The only disappointment was the communication prior to the job beginning.  Would usually have to leave several voice mails or emails before I could get the front office to respond to questions. <br />

The estimator arrived on time and knew right away just by looking what the problem was. The roofer did the work in 1 1/2 days and worked very hard. So far no more leaks! <br />

It went well. It was not a rush job so I feel they took their time to make sure everything was done right. I didn't want a one day service. <br />
