The contractor was often hard to get ahold of and would not show up at appointed times. He tried to blame the leaks on other things, such as the home' s vapor barrier, but when he repaired the vapor barrier, it did not help. We feel very taken advantage of, considering the fact that we gave him multiple opportunities to make good on the work he was paid for.

He took 13 bundles of shingles and at least 2 boxes of nails and 12 sheets of OBS that were not used( he claimed he over estimated) and tried to walk off the job with them. I caught him and confronted him. He admitted to me that if I had not caught him he would not have told me about the excess materials and claimed that his supplier did not give him any receipts. I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone else.

I was extremely impressed with Accubuilt, LLC.  They were professional, dependable, trustworthy, and provided excellant work.  They made to whole process easy and hassle free for us.   Our house was alway left as clean as possible each day when they left, and they treat our belongs with respect.  We are extremely happy that we have finally found someone that we can call on when needed.  Based on prior experience, I find Accubuilt, LLC to have extraordinary work ethic, and I will definately use them for future home improvements. <br />

<p> We found Lee on Angie's List when we needed a roof replaced. He did a great job and we talked to him about doing some renovation. He said he had crews to handle anything we needed. Our house became unusable on day 1. We had to live in our bedroom only. The crew came in and took out the kitchen counters and back splash. They did not put up a dust barrier as requested. They also gutted the hall bath. The granite and tile work proceeded without too many issues. I made about 6 trips to Home Depot due to supply issues. Apainter named Albert and his cousin are at my house painting and on day one, they had already done the wrong paint color on the wall above the cabinets. I did not inspect the other painting that day. His cousin was upstaIrs also painting.The contractor came over  fairly routinely when I returned home. He told us to mark any areas of concern. It was a Saturday morning with good lighting<strong>. WE FOUND OVER 70 issues! </strong>We let Lee know and he assured us it would be fixed. The same painter and cousin showed up again with more issues. I finally told Lee that this guy was not allowed back! Painter #2 was actually one of the tile guys, who did not work out well. Painter #3 was the granite finisher, Chris who actually did a good job. Lee complained that he ws too slow and meticulous. Painter #4 was Earl Ivey and his son, who was a real painter and finished the painting really well. I cae home one afternoon to find 3 of the workers huddled in my hall bath. They appeared to be working on the toilet area. I went to use the faucet in my bathroom and found the water off. These guys said they would have it on shortly, but did not explain the issue. When the contractor showed up later that evening, he said that he wasn't going to tell me, but they had broken the water pipe to the toilet and had to turn off the water, <br /> We ended up installing several light fixtures and buying hinges, since he did not seem able to do so.<br /> We continued with this remodeling FIASCO and it continues as I write this review. While moving furniture, his workers scratched and gouged the hardwood floors in the laundry room, kitchen, great room and foyer!!  The new vanity in the remodeled bathroom has damage to the side from their install and/ or water damage from the toilet pipe. I alerted the contractor by text message and my husband spoke to him over 2 weeks ago and he is still a no show.<br /> We are frustrated and extremely disappointed in this work!! This contractor is slow, unorganized, ineffective at managing his subcontractors, a poor communicator when problems arise and too inexperienced to take on this project. He misled us about his abilities and his workers.<br /> We gave Lee a key to our home so that work could proceed while we were at work. I stressed to him the importance of securing the house ! He assured me that he would take care of this daily. He also cloned my garage door opener, which he says is a common practice! I did not like this. Around 930 PM as I was preparing for bed, I checked all the doors before turning on the alarm. I found the front door <strong>UNLOCKED. I was home alone.</strong> I texted Lee immediately and demanded my key to be returned. He has yet to answer my text or to apologize to me. He later returned my husband's message and told him that if I had contacted him that night, that He would have come over to check on my safety!!!!<br /> There is more,but I am exhausted writing!</p> <hr /> <br />

Great communication, great prices, and I was quite pleased with the work.

It went very well. They showed up on time were professionally. It took 2 days as agreed. They cleaned up as promised. Lee kept in touch along the whole process.during the pricing negotiations and progress of work. The price was reasonable. A little higher than the low estimate and much lower than high estimate.

Lee Stone of Accubuilt showed up on time or would call if he could not arrive when he said he would. Clean up every day. I would recomend Accubuilt and Lee Stone for any type of renovation work or new work. <br /> <br /> <br />

First two appointments for an estimate were missed completely although he did call a few minutes before to say he was not going to make the appointment.. Individual was 30 minutes late for the third appointment.  <br />  The estimate request was for just the roof. During the visit, he discussed covering  the eves and soffits at the same time and I requested he provide a separate estimete for this work. The estimate was received in a timely manner with both the roof and soffit jobs quoted individually and then together with a significant discount.  I elected to have both jobs done due to the price discount and the work really needed to be done. The house was built in 1947 and was desperately in need of roof maintenance and rotten wood replacement. <br /> Once the approval was given for Accubuilt to perform the work, the work was scheduled. The workers arrived as schedule and completed the entire job in about 2 days. The work was supervised by Accubuilt and a professional job was done. The work crew cleaned up after the job was done very well. <br /> After the work was done, I found that that the eve mounted flood light fixture no longer worked. This was fixture was moved due to the soffit work.  One of the 2 light sockets had been broken proir to the work (by me) so Accubuilt offered to fix/replace the fixture the next week  if i provided a new one. I purchased the replacement and left it on my outside porch.  Several weeks went by without Accubuilt returning. I received a call from them stating they had forgotten about the work but just found it in their notes and they would be there within a few days to mount the new fixture. Again they did not return to do the work. A few weeks later, I got another call with profuse apologies from them that they had again not returned to do the work.  They promised to return within the week to complete the work. That was two weeks ago and they have not returned to do the work. <br /> Overall, because of the excellent work on the roof and soffits, I would give their rating a 'A'. However, for the inconvenience  <br /> caused by the lack of punctuality (rated 'D') of the estimate appointments  and the lack of keeping their word on fixing the light fixture repeatedly (Professionalism rated 'B") , I rate my overall experience a 'B'. <br /> I would, however, use Accubuilt again and recommend Accubuilt to others.  <br />

The job took several days to complete and Lee worked with me and my work schedule.  The finshed ceiling looks great, you can't tell that there was once a hole there.  He was able to repair a small portion of the ceiling without having to paint the entire ceiling which saved me at least several hundred dollars.  Lee makes sure that you are satisfied with the work he has completed.  I am <strong>very </strong>satisfied with the result and will be using Lee in the future. <br />

Accubuilt handled everything from the beginning. He went to the townhouse, took measurements, and presented an estimate within the week. There was an issue with the building inspector after ordering the vinyl siding over the "color", of all things! We had chosen a pale green called Key Lime and the inspector had reservations until Lee made a special trip back (80 miles each way) and secured a sample for him. All work was professionally done and in a timely matter, weather permitting. The work area was kept clean as to minimize any annoyance to neighbors. Lee made several trips to make sure we were satisfied with the entire process and correct any minor item that we might find. While the weather was not very cooperative, Accubuilt continued to get the job done as quickly as possible. The entire experience was so good that we are now in the process of having Accubuilt remodel the entire kitchen. <br />

They did an excellent job, and I would recommend them to anybody. The person concerned was very good at communicating. If there was a problem, or he couldn't get here at a certain time as promised, then he would let me know upfront and ahead of time. He kept me advised of what was going on as the job progressed, and they were so good that they actually finished the job ahead of time they said it would take. It was a one and a half day job, but they finished it in one day. We have had them come back, and we are in the process of talking to them about some more work. We have agreed upon the price they have asked for, and we are having them do three more jobs here at the house starting from Monday.

We found Accubuilt on Angie's List.  We gave them a call and from the first interaction were very pleased.  They were professional and courteous.  They came out and reviewed the various things we needed to have done on our house.  We discussed several things with them including installing vinyl siding and replacing our roof.  In the end we decided to only do the siding now.  But we definitely will have them back next year to replace the roof.  Once we agreed on the work to be done, we scheduled to have the work begin the following week.  They showed up on time, worked late and were done in just 2 days.  They did an excellent job on the work and even did an excellent job in cleaning up after themselves. <br />

We had an excellent experience with this contractor.  Lee (the owner) kept us informed at all times.  We felt very confident that we selected the correct roofer.  We would hire and recommend that you give this company a call.  The price he quoted was the price we paid, no extras or issues. <br />

We had a bad storm and the trampoline next door hit our roof and caused a hole. I found this roofer on Angie's List and had him out to fix the roof. He came out and fixed the roof just fine. He also repaired the door from damage. He fixed the hole inside and painted along the ceiling. We are very satisfied and do not have any problems. He was very pleasant, also. I would definitely use his services again.

My overall experience with them was excellent. Their prices were competitive. They were here when they said they would be here and they were professional. They did an excellent job.

We are still using them. We did a major remodel. There were few bugs but otherwise the company is good but the sub contractor not so much.

Lee is incredibly professional and is one of the few contractors we've encountered who communicates effectively with his clients. He is honest and also very good at making suggestions that are smart and also cost effective.  We were extremely pleased with the finished product of our remodel and feel that it has added value to our home.  Accubuilt will also be remodeling three of our bathrooms during the next few months.

We were extremely pleased with the results of our makeover.  Accubuilt provided us with a high quality of work at a very reasonable price.  The Accubuilt team was extremely professional and easy to work with.  We found them to be very honest and trustworthy and the entire experience, which lasted a couple of months, was a very enjoyable experience for us.  We have nothing but positive things to say about this company and the work they did for us.  We continue to stay in touch with them and frequently call them for advise or referrals.  They are always happy to help us out.  We will definitely be using them again when the time for more renovations is right and have referred them to many (6+) other family and friends who were also pleased with the work they did for them.  Highly recommend Accubuilt for all your home construction or renovations needs.

All went very well. I will say that we probably could have had a bit better communication. Although, my schedule often contributed to missed calls, etc. For me, however, what mattered most were the results of the work I'd asked be done. Some may want (demand) a specific, tight time-line depending on the work being done. For the specific jobs I had Accubilt do, "strict" time constraints were not necessarily applicable. However, the time-frame from start to completion was satisfactory to me.

Lee Stone was amazing to work with.  His crew did a top-notch job on the roof and siding. They rebuilt my damaged fence and gate, and it looks and functions better than I thought it could.  Lee was VERY responsive!  He communicated with me throughout the enitre process, and kept me updated when necessary.  He is VERY polite and professional.  I would NEVER hesitate to recommend him to friends, family, and anyone else who needs work done on their home.  Accubuilt - you rock!

Excellent process from start to finish. Accubuilt owners are both reliable and honest. They do excellent work and at reasonable prices. Couldn't be happier with the finish product or the company. Have recommended them to both family and friends and will continue to do so. Also very easy to work with, you cannot find a better contractor in my opinion.
