Accura Land Surveying

The only thing this company does quickly is take your money. I have been waiting since November 2025 for a status update on a job they were paid in full for in September. They promised us a fast turnaround. They never even have the decency to contact you and tell you why they aren't meeting their own deadlines. The irony is the man that initially came out said he had to "leave early for a bible study." I have filed a complaint with the AG and I will have to take them to court, it seems. I wish I would have ready the other reviews before hiring them. This company is in full scam mode. Avoid them.

At the end of 2025, I left a voice mail message with Accura Land Surveying. The following day I received a return call from a woman to discuss my land surveying needs. She was helpful and we were able to schedule a surveying appointment time in the near future. Mr. Going, Accura Land Surveying, arrived on time and we discussed my surveying needs. He was very easy to talk with, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He took many measurements of our exterior home and upon completion, he rang our doorbell stating what he had done, and that he'd be back soon with the report. True to his word, he returned within a couple of days. I was amazed at the detail, both drawn out picture of our property and wording, on the surveyor's report. They had no problem coming out to take our money. They had all the excuses why the job wasn't getting done. Job was NEVER completed. We were NEVER reimbursed our money. We won a court order judgment. Which they still haven't paid. We will be hiring a lawyer and asking court for those additional cost if not paid soon. Absolutely unprofessional

The survey was well-done and timely. I have used Acura Landsurveying of Greenfield for many years, going back to a minor subdivision survey in 1993. Mr. Goin's work is of such quality that he should charge more for his services (Price rated "B" for this reason. I have tried other surveyors and did not have such good results. As a small landowner, I discovered that they were working for developers and their interests rather than mine. Acura surveyed the historic barn lot (barn shown in photo) in 2004 when I need to add additional land to enlarge the property.

Everything went very well. Philip explained from the get-go that he was really busy but that he would get me in as soon as possible. I am completely satisfied with the timeframe and the job he did and I would highly recommend his company for any survey work needed.

It went well. Philip let me know when he was coming and kept me updated because it kept raining. I received the survey paperwork promptly after the survey was completed.

This past fall I reached out to this company after having a previous survey done in a similar location and they didn't disappoint the second time around as well! I corresponded with Philip back and forth once my wife and I had secured a purchase agreement. I needed a stake boundary survey completed to parcel off a couple of lots from the main property. Philip's team went to work right away and added a few more stakes as trees impeded the line of sight. Part of our closing agreement was having the boundary survey completed so a fence could be placed on the dividing lots. Philip was good at corresponding within a day or two of any messages sent however I did not know until later that his company was in the middle of moving office locations. I know he meant well, but a few times he said he was slightly behind getting the surveyor's report out and said to look for it the next day only to go another week before I needed to prompt him again. We still made our deadline but myself, realtor and title company started to feel the crunch. Overall it took a little over 3 weeks from initial contact to finish and get the report. I had received a few quotes from other companies and Accura was by far the best quote. The other companies offered extra bells and whistles that I did not need. I highly recommend Accura for any survey projects and would definitely use them in the future!

We have lived in this house for almost 9 months, and wanted to get a fence put up for our dogs. I started calling around to get a survey done because that's what I was told I needed to do. I could go off the county survey, but was told I needed my own, to be safe. I called Acura because they had very good reviews on Angie's List. It took a couple of attempts to get a response, but when I did, they came out within a few days. However, I didn't know what day or time they were coming, just sometime that week. Two gentlemen came, and were here for about 3 hours and then left. That was in early June. I was told I would get a drawing of the survey. The problem was, the stakes they put down were about 1 foot off what the county had done originally in some places, and according to their stakes, my driveway is 4 1/2' into the neighbor's property line. There is no special easement filed about that according to the county, so I don't know how that happened. We called in the middle of August because we still hadn't gotten the drawing of the survey. They had started it, but then forgot to finish it according to the person on the phone, and we would get it right away. It's now past the middle of September and we have stakes in places in our yard that we have no clue why they are there, our lot is way smaller than what we were told by the seller and the county survey, and we still have no drawing. I have had 2 companies ready to put a fence in, but because of the stakes all over the place they are hesitant, because they don't want to cross into someone else's yard. And it's VERY difficult to explain how my driveway, which has been in place for 15+ years, is in my neighbor's yard. I am very sad to say I would not recommend this company.

Firm advised regarding procedures and use of existing surveys...as a result did not need a staked survey ..appreciated the honest advise.

Accura land surveying was very punctual. The appointment was less than one week away. The work was very professionally done. I received detailed drawings of the survey and they put permanent markers out. The fence company had no difficulty in putting up the fence using the survey markings.

Great. I think my neighbor is less than happy that he "lost" about 10 feet of property. Kudos to the surveyor though :)

Stakes were placed on the corners, but I never received the accompanying paperwork nor where my phone calls returned when I tried to contact them.

I highly recommend Accura! Due to a pending house sale, I needed a survey ASAP. I called Accura on a Friday afternoon at 4:40pm. The owner answered the phone and agreed to perform the survey within the next week. I had a detailed email from him within a day that clearly explained what he had found when researching the situation. This was very helpful, as I wasn't familiar with FEMA flood plain maps. He was able to get his crew to complete the survey on Monday afternoon and I had a complete elevation report with the measurements and calculations by Wednesday. They were very knowledgeable, detailed, responsive, and professional.

Accura provided the service that they quoted, at a very competitive price. The guys who did the work were very friendly and professional. One of the guys even had to deal with my nosy neighbor, and handled it professionally! Their office person was sometimes difficult to contact, otherwise things went well. This was a tough job due to the age of the area, lack of records and monuments. Accura did it without a hitch!

Initially everything went great.They came exact day they promised on 6/14/2016.It was very bad day weather wise ,heavy rain,but they did their job. Initially,I was going to use Angie's coupon they offered, but choose not too because I felt that they deserved extra for this job that day.I explained that it is not urgent for plat drawing ,because I understand how busy summer is.That was a good part.Now, 2.5 months later,several phone messages with no returned phone calls,I still don't have my plat drawing.

I had a survey done a while back, but the company went out of business. Accura cam out and found the rebar that was buried and marked the property.  There were polite, helpful, and very nice. They went above and beyond.

Needed a survey to get permission for a privacy fence install, and Acura responded quickly and I was able to get the report in less than a week after I made my request.
