Alex was highly responsive (both phone and text). Scheduled a visit to replace my lock to a keypad. Showed on time, completed the job quickly and "accurately". He had to adjust the lock for better fit which he did masterfully. Alex is honest, hardworking, friendly and a pleasure to work with. He explained everything that he was doing so I understand the process. I will call him again without any hesitation if I had another project.

Alex did a great job getting the battered and disused old front doorway of our 1910 brick house back into working order. I have been renovating the house from a dilapidated state and there were multiple challenges with how the doors had been altered and damaged over time. In addition to installing new locks etc, Alex spent a lot of time to advise me on my work to repair the door frame and replace the security gate frame. He worked with me to reposition the hinge leg of the frame in the brick opening, and co-ordinated his work with mine in a really flexible way. He removed the old mortise lock from the inner wooden door and filled the large gap very precisely with a specially selected wood species before boring and fitting an elegant new lockset. He installed a long strike reinforcement on the frame, which he rabbeted to fit. He also found an exact replacement for the old-style security gate lock. He fitted new locks to the back and side entry doors and re-keyed all locks to the same key. The doorway looks great and the doors and locks all work beautifully - a real improvement in our daily life! I learned a lot from Alex in the process, and highly recommend him for his expertise, skill and job-specific focus.

Wow! Alex retrofitted a better lock (Yale Surface Jimmy Proof Lock) where a poorly installed jimmy proof lock had been installed. In the process, he also fixed the hinge on my door (which is over 100 years old). He is the consummate locksmith professional & I feel very lucky to have found him. His price was also extremely reasonable given the extent of the work he had to do for the retrofit.

Everything went extremely well. Called Alex in the morning and he was able to make it out later that evening to replace one of the locks that was unable to be repaired. The other lock needed additional parts and he agreed to come back the next day to finish, which he did. He was prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. Great. There were some issues with some doors which were repaired at the same time the locks were changed.
