Mr. Doug Hicks was prompt and professional. He was very pleasant and helpful. He explained everything in detail. The repairs were done in a reasonable amount of time and he was diligent about making sure everything was working properly before leaving. Joey did an excellent job. He asked questions pertinent to the issue, then evaluated the unit. He dismissed the trouble and made the necessary repair. He then asked if I would like further evaluation, and I accepted that. He advised that although the unit was working, it had some weak issues that could cause trouble, but considering the urgency of the immediate repair and the age of unit and plan for sale, we choose not to do additional repairs. It does make us aware of what else to watch for. Replaced faulty capacitor and checked lithe components of system.

Accutemp sent Edwin Williams out this time. He was very thorough, very professional, and showed me his findings and explained what they meant. I started calling on Accutemp several years back and was impressed enough to sign up for the regular check-ups (and I've enjoyed priority scheduling and discounts). After my long-time A/C guy passed away I looked around for a professional company with integrity - I had a hard time finding one but eventually I did, and I've never regretted going with Accutemp.

Accu temp technician misdiagnosed a problem with my heating system. I was charged a $80 diagnostic fee. The company wanted to charge approximately $600 is fix the problem. I decided to get a second opinion and the other company fixed the problem. The other company realized the wiring on new thermostat was wrong and corrected the problem for $80. Complained to management and management never called back.

Saturday night, 11 July, our air conditioner went out. The bedroom ceiling fan we hardly ever use didn't work either. Sunday the temperature would get to 94 degrees (heat index 109 degrees). At 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning I called several companies. AccuTemp was the only one that responded. Though they are in Denham Springs and I am fairly far away in Baker, they came all the way here on Sunday morning, arriving at 10:30 a.m. They fixed the problems, both the air conditioner and ceiling fan. Their price was a bit high, but I have no complaint. At 78 years of age I could not have handled the heat, and neither could our dog, a German Shepherd (a breed from a cold country). We were glad to get the problem fixed so quickly on a Sunday morning.

Luke Mahan and his assistant Mike did the work. They ended up fixing some issues with the air conditioners which are quite old. I am very satisfied. They did a great job and explained everything they did. I would certainly hire again.
