Went great! Greg got his crew there fast and got the tear off and new roof on quick. His crew cleaned up all roof stuff from around the house. He worked well with inspectors. No issues, he even came back to touch up paint on a roof vent.

The guy was a rip off. He was a crook. They replaced the skylight on the roof. I had to dispose of it myself. I was totally disgusted with them. I asked him for an invoice for how much I spent total and he could not even get that right.

Ace Roofing was great. they came out shortly after I called and provided lots of information about the condition of the roof. what I like best was they gave me many options on how to proceed. After we decided what services we wanted Ace Roofing got the work done within a week. I would definitely use Ace roofing again.

I bought the $99 special on gutter cleaning and tune-upIt took the owner 10 days to respond, but he apologized and wanted to schedule the job ASAP -- apology accepted, so far so goodI proposed some times, and didn't hear back for 2.5 weeks. Followed-up, and finally was able to scheduleThe morning of, they said they'd be 2 hours later than planned. I adjusted my work schedule, and then they showed up at yet a different time, when I happened to be away from homeBy the time I got back, they were just about done, they showed debris scattered on my street as evidence that they blew through my gutters (and quot;but hey, the wind will blow that awayand quot; ...into my neighbor's yard), and opportunistically suggested some other repairs to my roofI would have taken this as a job mediocrely done and forgotten about it......but a couple days later I noticed one gutter leaking, another one COMPLETELY clogged (water pouring over the top), and a popped nail in a conspicuous location. Got on my roof and found a ton of silt and gunk in most of the gutters. Admittedly no leaves and twigs save for the once clogged gutter, but still...I hope you can make it right, gents, otherwise this is really shameful.

I'm sorry to say that it was disorganized and a real debacle for about 10 days trying to get Ace Roofing to actually come and repair the roof, once I gave them 1/2 of the payment. First, I was told that they would be there at the latest on one day--and no one called to let me know that the day had been changed. I had to call their office to find out that no one was going to show up that day. Then they gave me another day and said that the materials would be delivered---that afternoon for repair the next day. The materials were delivered onto my roof. And no one showed up the following day to do the repair. Then finally it was supposed to be done on a Saturday (about 3 days later), the crew showed up and John showed up and they found that apparently the wrong shingles had been delivered. Then John left and the crew that was there threw all of the wrong shingles off the roof onto my front yard and someone came and picked up the wrong shingles. I then had to wait for 3 more days for the correct shingles to be delivered and the final repair to be completed. I was able to talk to their Office Manager and get them to make a cost accommodation adjustment for all the trouble that I incurred (I had taken my dog to daycare on each of the 3 days on which I thought the repair would happen and rearranged my schedule because I work from my home--and cannot be on a conference call while the roof is being repaired because of the noise). They did make a cost accommodation which I feel was the least that they could do.

Last, I tried multiple times to get a warranty (in writing) for the work on my roof. I called Sheila, their office manager, I called John Wood, the original Ace Roofing sales person who approached me, and I emailed the owner of the company Aaron Clough multiple times. These contacts happened over the course of September to October 2014 (the roof was finally repaired on 8/11/14). I did not receive one call or email in response to my queries to get a written warranty for the work performed on my roof. At this point I do not have a written warranty and I doubt I will ever get one. I was very disappointed in my experience with Ace Roofing. It seems that as soon as I paid them for the work completed--I no longer was worth responding to. Unfortunately, I would say that their customer service is pretty much non-existent and I would not recommend others to this company because I wouldn't want someone else to have to suffer through the problems I experienced.

Ace Roofing is actually Irish Brother's Roofing (Greg Clough owner) that DBA Ace Roofing.

It took weeks to finish the roof part of the job. The roof needed fixing after they finished. It then took another four weeks to finished gutters. Then my roof did not pass inspection. Sheila and John repeatedly misled me about fixing and finishing the job. I can not proceed on other construction due to their inaction on inspection fixes. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES!
The leaking area is where my sloping roof meets the brick parapet wall. Over the years, the wall and the roof have moved slightly with temperature changes. This caused the seal material to break and leaks then develop. I have worked with Aaron and Ace roofing since 2012 when they installed a new roof on my back porch. At the same time they did some maintenance and repair work on the house roof. The house is over 100 years old and everything moves and flexes over time. Aaron and his crew returned in 2013 to once again try to stop the leakage. Each time they have tried a different material.Once again, this spring when the first strong rainstorm arrived, so did the drip...drip...drip. John, the Ace project manager applied a new technique when he came out on 8/1. This time they applied a wide flexible material that should allow the roof and the wall to expand and contract while keeping a watertight seal.Aaron, John and all the crew I have encountered are always very friendly and eager to get the job done right. They did not charge me for either of the return trips in 2013 or 2014. Ace is a small family owned business that I prefer to deal with. They are honest and will continue to work until your situation is resolved to your satisfaction. Their pricing is very fair. The only issue I have had is getting in touch with Aaron and Ace. It may take several messages and/or emails from you to get a response. Some of this is caused by the dictates of the weather. Roofers in general are always needing to adjust for wild swings in conditions. My advice is to persevere. Overall, Ace roofing gives me peace of mind. They know my roof and the conditions it exists in. I know they always have my best interest in mind

Great work, good professional employees. Owner is not easy to get in contact with. Best to keep in contact with the workers who really do the work. Good finished job, neat and professional looking roof repair.

Aaron and John were fantastic to work with. They worked with me on the timing and pricing, which were greatly needed and appreciated. The repair is located in the front porch area and they were able to use matching materials and make it look like the original roof. The work was done on our rental home located in Longmont, CO

WORSE service I have ever received from an Angie's list merchant! I started calling this business 3 weeks ago , Finally received a callback last week, only to have them cancel out 3 times, then, when they did and quot;arriveand quot; they neglected to follow the instructions I had taped to the door, right next to the check (which they easily found). I was home the day they alledgedly performed the service, and yet there is no evidence that anything was done. I called them a few days ago, and am still awaiting a return call....

The gutter cleaning took a long time, due to the weather, however, when he postponed an appointment due to the weather, there was no follow-up with a new scheduled date. If finally did happen. He was paid to replace a skylight. That was done, however, the old skylight was left on the roof, not hauled away. He was also to replace a furnace vent cap on the same building. The work was not done until I brought it to his attention. I didn't find out that the work was not completed until I was on the roof and saw that it was not done. After prodding and asking why it was not done, it was finally completed. I assume the and quot;stacksand quot; were painted and repaired per the work order, but I don't know since I have not been on my roof. Please note this was an and quot;up saleand quot; from why I hired the company. Based on my overall experience, I'm not even sure that this was needed. The worker was very sloppy getting paint on a retaining wall, driveway, and lawn...incredibly poor workmanship. If the gutter was realigned, there is no difference in the draining. After I brought this up to Aaron, he explained that they were not and quot;gutter peopleand quot;, but roofers. This is after I paid for the repair. There was no mention of any type of refund, just excuses for his people. I have asked 3-4 times for an invoice. He emailed me twice, but it never came through. I'm still waiting for an invoice. I have now asked twice for him to mail me the invoice. Bottom line: I deal with a lot of contractors since I own several rentals. This was one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. Aaron could only make excuses for one worker that he said he let go....really not my issue, but his. I hired his company, not that particular worker. STAY AWAY from this company. There are other people on Angie's List that are honest companies.

They inspected the roof and provided an estimate of $1400 for repairing the issues that they had found. I signed off on the estimate and had the work done, but the leak persisted and caused more damage. Additionally, the owner seemed put off and slow to respond when I called about the problem. It was only when I faxed them a document showing that they guaranteed their work that the company sent someone back out to correct the issue.

They did a good job. They were able to come by my home when I was not there to do the work. They were very professional. We had to work around the weather. It all seems to be working fine. He did send me a follow up email on what he did but I wish I could have talked to someone.

Once we got through all the weather problems they came and got the work done. We purchased it early but we had to wait a while. Our roof was still snow covered. We were in touch frequently to find a good scheduling point. So they came out 2 months ago. I wasn't charged anything extra. They were very favorable and I think the owner and one employee came and they were both really nice guys. I would say they did what they said they were going to do and they provided me with quality information and pictures before and after the service.

Roof shingle folks worked very hard. Only moderately satisfied with the results. We have a strangely shaped roof and their recommendations to prevent gutter overflow were not workable. High winds this winter ripped some shingles off the roof. Don’t know if it represents their work, but probably.

They came and did what they said they were going to do. They did some things above and beyond, which I appreciated. When I opened my garage door, he noticed I had leaves in my garage, so he blew out the leaves from my garage, which he didn't have to do, but they left some of the leaves that came off the roof on my front porch, and so I am neutral on them.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it worked out great. They were able to come out really quickly and deal with it. So it was great. I will surely use them again in the future if it’s necessary.
