We have had problems with our Majestic Fireplace and another company had worked on it several times with various amounts of repair costs of up to $500 and never getting the problem solved! We went to Bend Fireplace and looked at new systems, they wanted to try and fix the thing, but had an 8 day backlog. We said that was too long, the Service Manager suggested Ace and we set up an appointment! They were able to get to us the next day and fixed the problem along with showing us how to get the unit to fire properly! James Neider fixed the problem and I cannot recall the exact price, but it was very reasonable and we have been happy with the results! <br />

I had just bought my home and had never had a pellet stove before. He went to work straight away and not only thoroughly cleaned the stove, pipe, etc. but he took the additional time to explain the mechanics of the stove and went through step by step showing me how to clean and maintain the stove. He also gave me great feedback about the price pointand quality of my stove. I was pleased to find out that it was a top ofthe line unit made by one of the best companies out there. He also gaveme tips on the best type of pellets to use. So, I was very please not only with her services but also that he took the time to educate me on the use of my unit. He also mentioned that he was a trained handyman andcould help me with many other things around the house. In the future, I would not hesitate to call him again when I need something done. Ace Stove and Home Service was the second company I had come to my home to figure out what was wrong with my gas fireplace. The first company had no clue and failed to return any of my calls after the visit. Ace was able to get the fireplace working properly, installed a fan, and repainted the metal face. The workman was punctual, extremely polite and very professional. I will absolutely use this company in the future and will recommend them to family and friends. <br />

This is the third time we've hired James Neider of Ace Stove and Home services, once to restore the operation of a gas fireplace and to replace a door seal that no one else had in stock, (2) install and plumb in a gas hearth stove and hearth and lastly to repair the pilot assembly and clean out a gas fireplace, and to restore operation. <br /> Jim arrived on time and repaired the pilot assemble on the gas fireplace. adjusted the flame and cleaned the fireplace operating assembly and the front glass door., Everything worked perfectly when the job was complete. <br /> Charges were paid as agreed, and no over charge was requested. at 2964 NE Lotno Dr., Bend OR. <br /> Mark Hardy Urban City Estates Rental Property and renovation Bend and Portland Oregon artgraphx@q.com

WE WOULD WITHOUT ANY HESITATION HAVE JIM BACK TO DO WORK FOR US...IN THE SPRING HE WILL BE BUILDING HOT TUB PRIVACY FENCING...AND SEVERAL OTHER PROJECTS [ HE DOES'NT KNOW ABOUT YET.]...ANYWAY, HE'S A SWELL GUY, GREAT TO HAVE IN YOUR HOME...CALL JIM IF YOU NEED WORK...HE WON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.................

We needed Jim last winter to "fix" our stove, but it turned out that it's just tricky to light. So he showed us how to do it. We paid him for that trip. Then, it was surely broken this time, but no, he just had to show us again how to light it and there was no charge for that trip. This summer, Jim fixed our vacuum head (had a wire short in it) and the dryer (had a baffle come off) and he charged us a very reasonable amount. He's our "go-to" guy for home repairs.
