Was very pleased with the service. He was on time and respectful. I appreciated that he took the time to point out some cracks that needed attention on the chimney, and showed me how to do it myself. He was honest about how often the sweeping should be performed. It is clear that he cares about his customers and isn't there to rip them off. He even explained how to do the service myself if I wanted to. <br />

Lee was fantastic! I called him up on Monday to inquire about having our chimney swept. He was immediately warm and receptive on the phone, and offered an early morning appointment for today. He arrived promptly at our scheduled time, and took great care to keep our home clean while he made certain that our chimney was cleaned out, repaired, and in tip-top shape. We'll be certain to use "A Cheaper Chimney Sweeper" again in the future! <br />

Actually, it was a vent from my laundry room for the fan. Birds were in there. So, he cleaned all that out and then, covered it on the outside so they can't get in. I've used him a couple of times. He is wonderful.

The technician was very thorough when he cleaned the chimney and very careful to not get the house dirty. He did good work and was a a friendly person while he was here. <br />

Everything went well. Lee was very responsive and got me into his schedule in only a few days. He is very pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable. Also, he has cleaned our fireplaces twice now and he is very good at keeping the rooms clean while working. <br />

Lee is the best, hands down.  I own a rental property in Ferndale and the city requires an inspection of the fireplace every two years.  Lee is the only person I have ever used and he is always on time, super friendly, always does  a great job cleaning the fireplace and then cleaning up.  I've also used him for the random one off repair like patching broken concrete steps and also patching around the foundation of my brick house.   <br /> He is fair, has great pricing, does a great job, and is a wonderful guy.  Look no further than Lee, trust me! <br />

Great!  I have used Lee two times since I have moved into my new home last year.  He cleaned the chimney back just after Christmas in 2014 and did a wonderful job.  Cost was around 150.00 and he did not try and tell me a bunch of stuff was wrong.  Even told my husband how to fix the flue frame his self to save on cost. <br /> They came back again this spring to take care of some pintucking our inspector pointed out during the winter (could not be done at that time due to the cold) and also to fix a 5x5 porch landing that was made of brick in a herringbone pattern that the morter had started to crumble on.  Looked wonderful once they were done. <br /> Very timely, courteous and well priced. <br />

The fireplace was very dirty and is now much better!  The damper was not fully closing, resulting in a smokey smell through the house on windy days.  The door of the fireplace had come loose on one side and was flopping around.  <br /> Service was prompt and he did a nice job making repairs and cleaning the fireplace & chimney.  No mess in the house. <br />

The job went well.  Once into the tuck pointing part of the job, it was obvious that a lot of mortar behind the outside brick had eroded away.  Michael did a great job making sure the job was done correctly.  As for the roof, the fixes he did, addressed the problem of leaking at the flashing. <br />

We bought our house last winter, and were hesitant to use the fireplace until it was inspected. I called A Cheaper Chimney Sweeper and Lee DePalma, the owner, came out within a couple days during peak season. He was careful to remove his shoes and place drop cloths to avoid making our house messy. He brushed out the fllue, inspected it's operation, and gave us several tips for maintenance. He had anthoer gentleman with him who looked at our exterior chimney. It was complete within 30 minutes. Overall, he was a very pleasant person and I will definately contact him beofre next fall for another cleaning. <br />
