Oil burner / Heat-pump issue addressed and resolved. Sometimes it’s not the first thing and more investigating occurs. Scott was professional and explained things well. I would hire again.

He came out within 24 hours of a reported water leak from our water heater just 2 days after Christmas. He took time to ask questions prior to the service call to gain a better understanding of the issue. He came prepared to resolve the leak, and was in and out in less than 30 mins. Very efficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to any of my family and friends.

Scott is very fast to respond to any issue we have had with our heating and air conditioning unit. He’s very professional and reasonably priced. Recently, our furnace went out on Christmas Eve. Scott went out of his way to get the part we needed and install it so we would have heat on the coldest day of the year. I highly recommend him for any of your HVAC needs.

Scott was the only one that I called that made a point to actually get a hold of me.  They were prompt.  They were supposed to come out a day earlier and I had to call to find out why he wasn't here, that was the only downfall.  But he was the only one that bothered to call me back.  He apologized for not contacting me right away.  Price was a little high.  He was very good.  He was very professional while he was there.  I felt comfortable having him here while I was home alone.  That's a big deal.  I would use him again.

Been having a bunch of issues with our HW heater.  Main problem was a strange one.  We would have a near total loss of hot water pressure in all faucets in our house periodically (happening more and more of late).  I talked with several repair companies and Scott at A C & H was really quick to respond.  No one had encountered this problem before but Scott was really helpful and walked me through a bunch over the phone before scheduling time to come out. <br /> He had me test the expansion tank and we quickly realized it was bad.  When he came out to check our system, he brought a new expansion tank and replaced it for me.  We decided to give that a shot for a bit and see if it helped our issue at all.  So far so good!  <br /> Scott was really quick to respond via email and phone calls, was very professional and considerate re: pricing.  I'd definitely recommend him to others. <br />

My 94 year old mother's AC went out on a very hot day.  I called Scott and he came within 2 hours, all the way from Harrisburg to Carlisle.  AC was up and running before noon!  Thanks so very much! <br />

He came out and took a look and everything was fine. I was not haome as I travel and my stepfather took care of this for me. When I talked to the guy on the phone is was very friendly, upfront and honest.

We feel Scott is knowledgeable and his pricing fair; he was very conscientious about completing the installation and returning a week later to fix a problem.  However, he had challenges with his materials supplier that delayed the project a couple of times and then had to come back due to the malfunction of a part from that supplier. His installation estimate of one day turned into one week.  If this had not been a factor, we would have rated his performance an A rather than a B. <br />

Unfortunately both were flagged by the inspectors. I have to pay some one else to come and do the cleaning. He was not able to pick the issue with water leak from a pipe causing some mold build up in the lower part of furnace. He keep telling he was not paid enough. I in-fact did not buy Angie list $49) special  because he was telling me he does not make any money from that, so I thought I should be fair with the time. But turn out Home inspector knew more about the system then he does.  <br />

It turned out well. They came out shortly after I purchased the big deal. He honored the big deal. He was timely and was quick. He was very responsive. I would use them again.

When I originally contacted Scott, he was supposed to have come out on 12/19 and forgot.  However, he did show up on 12/20 , 10 minutes early.  He MORE than made up for forgetting the appointment the day before. <br /> He was only there about 20 minutes but talk about service, friendly, courteous and professional.  Showed me a simple, cheap trick to maintain the a/c after summer is over.  He looked at the outside unit and said.....despite it being half off the slab...it was running fine. <br /> Scott is a KEEPER. He saved me over $1100.00 in repairs and I also realized the other company had lied.  Dec 20 also happens to be my birthday and he gave me a wonderful birthday present by telling me the good news. <br /> I would 100% recommend A C & H Services to anyone and will defintely be calling him again!!! <br />

provider did a tune up of heat pump to prime for winter. I have been having some respiratory issues and provider gave me tips on filters and other ideas to help eliminate allergens. Provider was very helpful, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this provider

They were fine. There were additional charges beyond the regular maintenance but that was expected. I had to purchase the thermostat control.

The A/C in my condo died this year. Naturally, I wasn't aware of the death until I needed to use the unit. I'd had the unit serviced in 2012 and there were no problems at that time. The hot season was here and I wanted the unit replaced ASAP. <br /> I contacted three companies and asked for estimates. Following my meetings I evaluated the companies on price, recommended equipment quality, punctuality and wait time for job commencement. <br /> A C & H was by far the most cooperative. His prices were the lowest, an online evaluation of the equipment he proposed using was just as good as either of the other 2 companies, and he was willing to do the job the same week. <br /> Now this company is small and doesn't offer all the bells and whistles and big company does. However, the work is first rate, the service is great (he even checked back in a week and immediately came to the home to "tweak" the system) and the price is extremely competitive. <br /> If you don't mind dealing with an ordinary down to earth man that is true to his word, this is the company for you. If you need the bells and whistles of a big company, go to a pricey competitor and be told that it will be 2-3 weeks before they can start. <br />

Our a/c went out sometime late on Sunday night, the day before Labor Day.  We found AC&H advertised on Angie's List  with a 10% discount.  We called him, Scott Ford, and explained the problem, he diagnosed it on the phone.  When he realized due to work our schedules, he would come out on the holiday.  I told him we found him on Angie's List and about the 10% discount.  He said he would charge us the regular labor rate instead of the holiday rate in lieu of the discount.  He was at our home and fixed the capaciter within the hour.  Polite, efficient and knowledgable.  We will use him again! <br />
